I will answer for him. He is saying that the more you love and honor the mother of Jesus, the deeper will be your placement in hell and the hotter will be your punishment for it. As if that could possibly be the will of Jesus who, from the Cross, gave John to his mother as her son and gave her to John as his mother.

Biography: John Jay was a statesman and diplomat who served as the first Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court.
Jay was born into a wealthy family in New York City where he received a good education and graduated from King’s College in 1764.

Sounds completely illegal to me. Once you purchase a product, it’s yours. The seller has no further rights to it. At that point, they can’t tell you anything about how you use it, how you maintain it or anything else. It’s yours, not theirs. Someone needs to challenge this in court, and this nonsense will stop.

Software coppied their scam, I still use quickbooks 2014, I looked a couple of years ago, it is a 365 day “lease” & cuts you off on quickbooks now, M$ started it with everything… outlook 365
For me Quickbooks for 58$ a month for 5 users so 700 a year, I could deal this the 600 to BUY it & use for 2+ years when payroll required it but not every year, Linux has a free one available but rather sparce, Linux paid one available, I’m sure it is much less but do not really need it anymore esp for payroll, 2014 will still work unless it “self expires”, I doubt it would run on win11 now but IDK that is how it is done by the backdoor.
Software has always been “leased” starting with MS win3.1 now SaS (Software as a Service) & you gotta check that box that you “read” the software “license”.
I read & IDK if a fact but the automakers load up all cars with those “upgrades” that you just pay a fee to turn it on if you want it so even they have picked up on the SaS model. I’m sure all of those trinkets are turned “off” if you don’t pay but I’m guessing they still spy on you & upload all your data to cellular for them to sell or they would not put it in all vehicles.
As I recall even Tesla “self drive” is a monthly service & I’m sure it needs all the updates via cellular, I remember when I (the Mechanic) had to plug into the original GM “CAMS” machine to update any software. Guess they eleminated a job & payment to a dealership for it, esp recalls that require it…. downside is they can *brick a car with the update & some have bricked cars.

Recipe: I made a pretty stand up Linguine and Clams yesterday and added scallops that I had stashed in the freezer. Turned out really good.
8 oz Bronze Cut linguine in salted water for only 9 minutes. You don’t want it all the way cooked.
While boiling noodles:
In really large saucepan combine the following:
1/4 cup Olive Oil (I used Avocado Oil as I have switched to this less expensive, higher temp compatible)
1 teaspoon of garlic powder (you really should use fresh but kiddo was allergic – so I’ve developed a bit of allergy from abstaining – so go fresh minced, if you can!)
A dash of red pepper flakes – 1/16 of a teaspoon.
Remove saucepan with infused oil from heat when garlic turns brown.
Add to saucepan:
2 each 10 oz cans of clams in water… one drained other liquid reserved
1/4 cup dry vermouth
Juice and zest of 1 large lemon
1 tablespoon capers in brine
1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Dash salt to taste
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons heavy cream
Including reserved fluid from clams, add all to saucepan and return to a simmer stirring frequently. Liquid will reduce and thicken. Add semi-cooked linguine and heat until al dente… about 3 or 4 minutes.
I added jumbo scallops too and this is my favorite way to make scallops AND salmon (so double recipe here)
In separate small saucepan, add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and 1 teaspoon salted butter, plus dash of salt.
Add your scallops (I used frozen and do this also with frozen salmon – for salmon as an independent entree – gives the most beautiful golden crust and moist interior… perfection!) cover and fry about 3 minutes on each side on medium high heat… turning to brown on all sides. Remove scallops and add them and the drippings to linguine. Mix thoroughly.
* For thick sliced salmon, fry about 4 to 5 minutes on each side and remove from heat when exterior crispy and when fork inserted in center shows doneness by flaking the meat.

You know- a tell-tale sign – is your grass. Our grass in Central Indiana is beautiful – lush – deep green. We have had a lot of rainfall this year and I hope it continues for our farmers’ sake.
Want to mow Tomorrow or Tuesday and there is rain in the forecast for both days. Wednesday I’m going to my brothers for a name your game poker game and will need to be rested since we usually play until the wee hours.
Alas, I have no lawn to mow, but I hear the travails of others fighting grass height. I would give you my sympathies, but I loved mowing the lawn. The smell of grass and earth are my favorite. I wish for the time of spending my days out on the lawn. I miss my lawn so much.

COMMENTARY FOR REVELATION 21:7
A new heaven, and new earth: the new Jerusalem where God dwells, and banishes all sorrow from his people. (1-8) Its heavenly origin, glory, and secure defence. (9-21) Its perfect happiness, as enlightened with the presence of God and the Lamb, and in the free access of multitudes, made holy. (22-27)
1-8 The new heaven and the new earth will not be separate from each other; the earth of the saints, their glorified, bodies, will be heavenly. The old world, with all its troubles and tumults, will have passed away. There will be no sea; this aptly represents freedom from conflicting passions, temptations, troubles, changes, and alarms; from whatever can divide or interrupt the communion of saints. This new Jerusalem is the church of God in its new and perfect state, the church triumphant. Its blessedness came wholly from God, and depends on him. The presence of God with his people in heaven, will not be interrupt as it is on earth, he will dwell with them continually. All effects of former trouble shall be done away. WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

THE MAN I LOVE
He is strong in mind – gentle in heart;

He took His correction bravely – and studied His Word;
Although he was knocked down – onto his knees;
He neither asked nor pleaded – He takes His ease!
Though his strength was reduced to that of a child;
His rebuke was neither gentle – nor even mild;
You will stop what you’re doing – it’s offensive to Me;
Meek and humble of heart – is what I want you to be!
Stunned and diminished – into submission;
Nary would he give – anyone permission;
To rebuke – or redefine – what he should be;
Nor would he ever be down – on bended knee!
Strength is not in the muscle – it is in the heart;
It is revealed when – from the flesh – we depart;
It is multiplied – sevenfold – when we deny self;
When we follow Him – put the flesh on the shelf!
It is his heart that I see – when I look in his eyes;

I have a small section of my backyard that over the years I have let go wild, I’ve even planted some native plants there. There’s one plant that has these big thorns on it that I decided to identify, come to find out it’s a Hawthorn, so I started to look into the plant and discovered that it’s a pretty interesting plant, mixed with Irish lore and actual health benefits. The berries are very heart healthy with actual scientific studies to back it up. There are blooms on the plant and so I should get berries this year.
Another plant that I identified is an Indian Plum (Osoberry). It is fruiting but from what I’m reading, pretty much unremarkable. It’s a native shrub that I will let continue to grow.
I read somewhere that letting part of the land fallow and wild is traditional German farming practice. I still dream that I will physically recuperate and be able to do it. Meanwhile I am fascinated by the different weeds that blow in annually. One year an arid plant blew through that started with gigantic leaves close to the ground and then shot up a long stem that branched out with tiny white flowers. Someone called the city on me but I explained my fascination to the worker that was sent out to make me dig them all up but when I explained what a unique plant it was and that my yard looked like snow in July’s triple digit heat he relented and let me finish the season 😉. Never saw it again.

Could have been the garbage truck workers or some other city workers who happened by on some other mission 😏 to make our lives better. We were the only block for miles as far as I can tell that actually had a block watch and the long time residents have had quite a battle over the years trying to keep the entire neighborhood a quality place to live. Those were the years that people lost their homes and the city had to enter backyards and put mosquito eating fish in the swimming pools that nobody was maintaining (not even the bank owners.). I don’t mind. I won anyways. Even if I had to pull them up before their time no biggie. I’m kinda torn on yard maintenance. I hate the chemicals but love a beautiful well manicured front yard. I’m just intrigued by the natural wild plants and maintaining their presence as well. Lots of our local plants are medicinal but my neighbors think they’re weeds and have no idea.

I’m sure that there are other stories that aren’t written or aren’t written in English but I still think that when an individual of a race not known to have been in an area gets cast in a leading role that the filmmakers are doing an injustice to not give the true backstory of how those individuals got there. Getting your film and your reputation cast off as a hopeless DEI suckup not making a historically accurate film is deserved in such cases. We have internet already rewriting history prior to AI and the new technology is making it worse. Denying historical accuracy denies the hardships people endured and deprives survivors of their stories – the trauma of which can be transmitted genetically.
Disney is talking about casting Helen of Troy as a black girl while Homer specifically says “But Iris went as a messenger to white-armed Helen”.
The only redeeming thing about that kind of crap is that Disney has been loosing money hand over fist because of their wokeness. They ruined Star Wars

Evening Prayer For Forgiveness
Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.
Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.
As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.
Give me a good night’s sleep I pray, knowing that there is no condemnation because I am in Christ, and may I wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to do Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray,

Heavenly Father, as I lie down to sleep tonight, I pray that You would guard my sleeping and protect my mind from wandering thoughts and unnecessary planning. Teach me to wait for Your perfect timing and not to try to plan my future in my own strength.
Lord, I know that You have scheduled every day of my life. Help me to trust You in all things and rely on You to lead me along the straight path and guide me in the direction that You would have me to go.
