the massive vote fraud we see in every election and in every state wouldn’t be helped much or at all by the SAVE act. It’s just more voting laws on top of volumes of existing voting laws that are being violated continuously and right in the open. Unless our federal law enforcement people are willing to go after the massive vote fraud, nothing will change.
Pass the SAVE act, it should be passed, but it will just be ignored if the cheaters know they have an open road. Right now, the road is 4 lanes wide and running 80mph. I’ve seen nothing significant so far that tells me the 2026 midterms will be any more fair and honest than any prior election. The pollyannas here will bristle, but tell us what’s been done and “fixed”. Stop will the “lots has been done already” stuff. Like what and where? Be specific or stop playing with people’s minds. Far as I can tell, the best thing that’s been done so far to restore election integrity -nationwide- is the redistricting/ gerrymandering racket recently ruled unconstitutional by the US Supreme Court.
That’s a BIG win. For years they’ve been rezoning formerly 1-4 family neighborhoods to stuff transient workers into high density “workforce” developments within *targeted* neighborhoods in order to mess with the census and voting data.

Texas brought a legal suit against the state of PA in 2020 and it tied up the courts when PA itself wanted to address the known corruption in PA. Texas was shot down by the SCOTUS, but no lawsuit got heard from PA.

One of the best outcomes of the meeting is that China is now looking at buying oil from Alaska. It’s closer to them than the straits.
If this happens, and to the extent it happens, it could greatly change the dynamic for Iran. Also would change our relationship with China for the better.
How does this help us or lower the price of oil? It’s a zero across the board.
This is a matter that will take some time to resolve. But one thing is true. Trump should decouple US oil prices domestically somehow. We use all of our own oil and refining capacity. Why do we need to CARE about the prices in other markets? I know the oil companies want to care because that would make the US a “less profitable” enterprise than selling to other countries. But the oil produced in the US enjoys a MUCH less expensive journey to our gas tanks. It stands to reason we would pay less for it.
Am I over-simplifying? Would anyone care to pontificate on what’s wrong with the idea?

My advice would be to hit the red states with the Republican governors early and just as hard. There’s plenty of fraud there too. Then it won’t seem partisan and maybe, just maybe, the press will pay attention, and this matter will get major traction.
It’s my opinion that this is the issue that could help bring victory in the midterms. People are pissed off, and there’s nothing better than that a pissed off electorate to get them to the polls in November.

No, Trump was asked in a post China summit interview about China owning US farmland. He specifically said that he “does not love it”. He explained that most of the farmland was purchased by China during the Obama years, and that no president ever did anything about it in the past. He is now trying to balance the economic issues around it.
The Trump Adm has taken action in the past to restrict future China land ownership. So has Congress as well as states.

115,000 is good money outside of major metro areas. It is a great deal more than most people live on in retirement, etc. People need to figure out what they want their day to day life to look like and how much money that would take and go from there.
A couple with two kids needs a lot less money in Nebraska than they need in New York City. They will live way better on 115000 than a similar couple in NYC making 165000+.
Those ranges are far too big and don’t account for location and lifestyle.
That $115,000 is bs. It doesn’t take into account various groups, such as retirees whose home mortgages have been paid off and can easily live on much less than $115,000 and still be considered in the upper middle class.
