Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

“Such a rejection of the Christian (and all mono) faiths is hardly warranted by the fragmentary fossils………..evolution” – Indeed. I can never understand why people have got themselves into a twist over the “time period”. Whether 6 “days” are literally 6 days, or 6 “periods of time”, possibly billions to millions of years. What difference does it make? Is God in any way diminished? Do some fear that everything “just happened”?? – IE no need for a Creator? Whether Adam, (which incidentally isn’t his name like John or Richard – but a description meaning “from the earth.” Eve (Gavah) is “mother of all living”.
Now whether there was a puff of dust and there stood Adam (musta scared the crap out of some bird or insect) or whether he was/is the first “human” to have acquired divine consciousness out of the thousands of pre-generational pre-humans is again to me a moot point. Does it in any way diminish God?? Did not and is not God’s revealing Himself to us? Are we not “partners” in His Creation via our “obedience” to His instructions via His word. The “way” isn’t there to please Him, it’s sole purpose is to show us a path that doesn’t end with us destroying ourselves and reality.
Quantum mechanics suggests that “matter” does not exist until it is “observed/measured” Before then it is only a “potential” simultaneously “existing” both as a wave (light) or as a particle (light)
Our and the universe’s existence (as matter) could only be achieved because the Creator “observed/measured” (thought about) (desired to) realize that potential.
Personally I don’t think science threatens God one bit – everything we “discover” is already created – we’re only learning about it – and there’s infinity to go – so plenty more to “discover”.
Hmmmm, maybe this was Adam’s first mp3 – lol cued I think.
I suppose the Lord could have created the world in 6 seconds, but He did it in 6 days according to the Word. Your fanciful imaginings keep you and others entertained outside of the revealed Word of God. There are more mysteries to be revealed and sadly will be misinterpreted by the world. Our world view influences our interpretation of the world around us. We can accept Christ as He is or we will believe anything. On Christ the solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand.
If you read it carefully, God created all sorts of things. In the dark. Before he created light. Then He separated light and dark. Then He invented Day and Night and ended the first day.
How long was God creating before he created the first day?
So basically it took God somewhat more than 6 days.
The revealed Word of God is truly quite entertaining.
I am unapologetically and unashamedly a young earth creationist. It is very easy to just believe what YAHWEH has related to us regarding Adam, the first man and Eve, taken from his side, and the rest of creation, through the writing of the book of Genesis. Having accepted the reality of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit by faith, I also believe His Word is truth, by faith. Of the work of redemption by Christ Jesus, we can all say, “He has done it.” Likewise, of the work of creation, and the making of Adam and Eve, we can also say, “He has done it.”

A 30 minute video that tells the story of the service of that mostly unsung heroin of that war.
Wow, rah. Just . . . wow. Thanks so much for posting this marvelous story.
Something that bears repeating again . . . My sister-in-law’s boyfriend was a veteran of the Battle of The Bulge. He told me about being lost in the Ardennes forest for 5 days, dodging Germans during their advance. He was 20 years old.
He told of coming to a clearing right at dusk. It was snowing and visibility was dropping. On the other side of the clearing was a familiar shape. It was a German tank, a MkIV.
He described watching the turret slowly turn, bringing the main gun, a deadly high velocity 75mm, to bear. At that range there was no way it could miss. He described watching as the German gunner fired. But the high explosive round passed a few feet over their heads.
My friend described being astonished at what had happened. The deadly moment passed, the driver jammed the jeep into reverse and drove deep into the protecting woods . . .
Decades later my friend told me that story over a glass of good brandy and a warm fire. It was obvious to him that the German gunner deliberately missed what could have been a killing shot. The war went on and he survived. He hoped that tank gunner who saved his life also survived to repeat the same story over good whisky to his young friends.
My Uncle Bob was in the 443 Infantry Regiment of the 106th Division and was captured on 19 December 1944, along with 7,000 other soldiers in the rout of the Division at the start of the Battle of the Bulge, 21 days after he had arrived in Europe and was posted to the Regiment. He was a healthy, athletic, well fed 19year old kid fresh out of basic training. He was in a German POW camp until the end of the war and was medically evaluated and sent home in July 1944. On the troopship coming home the Navy kept the galley open 24/7 to feed the returning POWs. My mother and Grandmother were waiting when he arrived at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He weighed just over 110 lbs, and had a hard time walking more than a few yards. She said she thought he looked like a scarecrow the first time she saw him. He never spoke about the war for the rest of his life, and never passed up a meal till the day he died. After the funeral, my cousin was going through his Dad’s things and found his bible from his time in the Army. He said every blank space and the margins of pages were covered in descriptions of food and restaurants around the DC area. Uncle Bob never talked about it with me, beyond simply noting to me to avoid Germans as much as possible.
The 106th is a sad tale. They had just arrived, the last division, and were ordered to deploy exactly as the unit they were replacing. Sheer idiocy. Those two regiments were all alone far out in front. No lines. No allied troops to either side and not for some distance behind them. They had to hold fortifications taken in the Siegfried line. They had a few days supply with them.
When the attack began, they were attacked and were ordered to hold. Just what the Krauts wanted, to freeze them in place. The main attacking forces quickly bypassed them. The General ordered that they be supplied via air. Would have worked too. But he didn’t follow proper channels so it didn’t happen when requested. By the time that was cleared up, the skies were shut in. And no one got air supply.
Eventually they were supposed to come back to the front. But the backed up Germans were clogging all the roads and guarding with those quad 20 mm antiaircraft guns. So there was no open path. A couple people left the unit and made it through. But the two regimental leaders ordered a surrender. It was the second largest surrender of US troops in the war. 2nd to Bataan.
The third regiment was better situated and fought a retreat. The command was located at St. Vith at the start. The general was relieved of command.
Some retellings ignore them completely. There is a history for that division. St. Vith, Lion in the Way. But it doesn’t cover pow experiences. I remember seeing them, but I can’t remember where.
After the war, the men who weren’t sent home served as prison guards, the division became quite large. I think the intention was for them to be prison guards from the start. But they were to fight till the end and the location was considered an easy place with no conflict where they could learn to patrol and break in the new unit.

BREAKING: Notice has just been given to Democrats in the Tennessee House that all members of the Democrat Caucus are being removed from all standing committees and subcommittees as a result of their behavior in the statehouse during the redistricting debates last week, which included setting fires inside the Capitol and attacking law enforcement.
In the state of Tennessee, political terrorism will not be tolerated. National Republicans take note that this is how you exercise power.

Cyrus McCormick
(1809-1884)
American inventor and businessman (mechanical reaper), dies at 75
Biography: Cyrus McCormick was an American inventor and businessman who revolutionized agriculture with his mechanical reaper. This machine, which was designed to harvest crops more efficiently, represented a significant advancement in farming technology. McCormick’s reaper had profound impacts on agricultural productivity, enabling farmers to increase their crop yield and significantly altering agricultural practices.
McCormick’s invention was patented in 1834, but it wasn’t until the 1840s that the mechanical reaper began to gain widespread use. McCormick and his brother Leander established a factory in Chicago, the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company, to produce the reapers. The company was very successful, eventually becoming part of the International Harvester Company in 1902.
Beyond his technical innovation, McCormick was also a pioneer in business practices. He introduced innovative marketing strategies and after-sales services, such as warranties, training, and repair services, which were groundbreaking at the time. He also expanded his market internationally, spreading the use of his invention to farms around the globe.
In the broader historical context, Cyrus McCormick’s mechanical reaper played a significant role in the 19th-century transformation of agriculture that was part of the broader Industrial Revolution. His invention and its widespread adoption increased the efficiency of farming and led to larger scale farming, contributing to the shift from subsistence to commercial agriculture. This had profound economic and social impacts, including the growth of urban populations as fewer people were needed to work on farms.

Stanislaw Ulam
(1909-1984)
Polish-American mathematician and nuclear physicist (Manhattan Project, H-bomb), dies at 75
Biography: Stanislaw Ulam was a Polish-American scientist best known for his involvement in the Manhattan Project and his development, alongside Edward Teller, of the Teller-Ulam design for a thermonuclear weapon.
Ulam was initially invited to join the Manhattan Project by Hans Bethe, following which he went to work at the top-secret Los Alamos Laboratory in New Mexico. He worked on hydrodynamic calculations for the atomic bomb and then on the “Super” bomb project for Teller and Enrico Fermi.
Apart from his involvement with nuclear weapons, Ulam also made major contributions to the nuclear propulsion of rockets and, in computational statistics, developed the now-important Monte Carlo method.

Today the Church celebrates an Optional Memorial of Our Lady of Fatima, which is a title of the Blessed Virgin Mary following apparitions to three shepherd children — Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco — in Portugal in 1917. The message of Fatima includes a call to conversion of heart, repentance from sin and a dedication to the Blessed Virgin Mary, especially through praying the Rosary. This optional memorial is new to the USA liturgical calendar and is inscribed on May 13.
Today is also the traditional commemoration of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament. This title was given to our Blessed Mother in May 1868 by Saint Peter Julian Eymard to honor her relationship to the Holy Eucharist and to place her before us as a model in our duties and devotion to the Blessed Sacrament.
Julian of Norwich, England (1342-1423) is traditionally honored today. She is not included in the Roman Martyrology but popular piety sees her as a holy woman of God, and so often refer to her as Mother, Saint or Blessed Julian. She is most known for her book, Revelations of Divine Love.
On the Thirteenth Day of May the Roman Martyrology commemorates
-At Rome, in the time of the emperor Phocas, the dedication of the church of St. Mary of the Martyrs, formerly a temple of all the gods, called Pantheon, which was purified and dedicated by the blessed pope Boniface IV to the honor of the Blessed Mary ever Virgin, and of all the martyrs.
-At Constantinople, under the emperor Diocletian and the proconsul Laudicius, the blessed Lucius, a priest and martyr, who first at Amphipolis endured many tribulations and torments for the confession of Christ, and then being led to Byzantium, suffered capital punishment.
-At Heraclea, the martyr St. Glyceria, a native of Rome, who suffered under the emperor Antoninus and the governor Sabinus.
-At Alexandria, the commemoration of many holy martyrs, who were killed by the Arians for the Catholic faith in the church of St. Theonas.
-At Maestricht, St. Servatins, bishop of Tongres, whose grave, as a public sign of his merit, was free from snow during winter (though everything around was covered with it), until the inhabitants built a church over it.
-In Palestine, St. John the Silent.
-At Valladolid, St. Peter Regalati, confessor, of the Order of Minorites, restorer of regular discipline in the monasteries of Spain. He was numbered among the Saints by the Sovereign Pontiff, Benedict XIV.

✟
“When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.”
Proverbs 16:7 (KJV)
COMMENTARY FOR PROVERBS 16
1 The renewing grace of God alone prepares the heart for every good work. This teaches us that we are not sufficient of ourselves to think or speak any thing wise and good. #2|. Ignorance, pride, and self-flattery render us partial judges respecting our own conduct. #3|. Roll the burden of thy care upon God, and leave it with him, by faith and dependence on him. 4|. God makes use of the wicked to execute righteous vengeance on each other; and he will be glorified by their destruction at last. #5|. Though sinners strengthen themselves and one another, they shall not escape God’s judgments. #6|. By the mercy and truth of God in Christ Jesus, the sins of believers are taken away, and the power of sin is broken. #7|. He that has all hearts in his hand, can make a man’s enemies to be at peace with him. #8|. A small estate, honestly come by, will turn to better account than a great estate ill-gotten. #9|. If men make God’s glory their end, and his will their rule, he will direct their steps by his Spirit and grace. 10. Let kings and judges of the earth be just, and rule in the fear of God. #11|. To observe justice in dealings between man and man is God’s appointment. 12|. The ruler that uses his power aright, will find that to be his best security. #13|. Put those in power who know how to speak to the purpose. #14,15|. Those are fools, who, to obtain the favour of an earthly prince, throw themselves out of God’s favour. #16|. There is joy and satisfaction of spirit, only in getting wisdom. #17|. A sincerely religious man keeps at a distance from every appearance of evil. Happy is the man that walks in Christ, and is led by the Spirit of Christ. #18|. When men defy God’s judgments, and think themselves far from them, it is a sign they are at the door. Let us not fear the pride of others, but fear pride in ourselves. #19|. Humility, though it exposes to contempt in the world, is much better than high-spiritedness, which makes God an enemy. He that understands God’s word shall find good. #21|. The man whose wisdom dwells in his heart, will be found more truly prudent than many who possess shining talents. #22|. As waters to a thirsty land, so is a wise man to his friends and neighbours. #23|. The wise man’s self-knowledge, always suggests something proper to be spoken to others. #24|. The word of God cures the diseases that weaken our souls. #25|. This is caution to all, to take heed of deceiving themselves as to their souls. #26|. We must labour for the meat which endureth to everlasting life, or we must perish. 27,28|. Ungodly men bestow more pains to do mischief than would be needful to do good. The whisperer separates friends: what a hateful, but how common a character! #29,30|. Some do all the mischief they can by force and violence, and are blind to the result. #31|. Old people especially should be found in the way of religion and godliness. #32|. To overcome our own passions, requires more steady management, than obtaining victory over an enemy. #33|. All the disposal of Providence concerning our affairs, we must look upon to be the determining what we referred to God; and we must be reconciled to them accordingly. Blessed are those that give themselves up to the will of God; for he knows what is good for them.E

Stop Worrying and Start Trusting God | Verse of the Day – May 13, 2026 (Morning Prayer)
_________________________________________
Thank You, Jesus, for blessings received and prayers answered !!!
WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

What is the matter with you
What’s got you in a tizzy
Not sure of what you must do
Or is your mind just busy
What is it you are evading
What are you hiding inside
In what have you been wading
Is it low or is it high tide
Are you awake at night
Feeling restless and so blue
About what in plain sight
Is bugging the heck out of you
Is there something you left undone
Or someone you left behind
Or something you have just begun
That just will not let you unwind
Tap into the Spirit of God
Ask what it is He wants of you
Even though your thinking is flawed
Receive what He says you must do
Speak not – just listen to Him
To what He guides you to do
Let Him fill you up to the brim
Allow Him to give you a clue
The Spirit speaks directly
Does not falter or miss a cue
Precisely and correctly
He will determine what to do
For success you must be willing
For the process it is divine
It is sure to be most thrilling
It is special and only thine
He will untangle the turmoil
He will decipher your thought
Because it is for the uncoil
The price for which you were bought
Do you deny what He did for you
Have you forgotten what He suffered
Is all of this worth what you must do
Are you willing now to be buffered
Then stop all the nonsense
And agree to reconcile
Being stubborn makes no sense
So stop acting juvenile
Make peace with sister/brother
What Jesus expects you to do
Hold no grudge with another
Let go – Let God do it for you
Tied up in a knot is nowhere to be
It obstructs your love and vision
It becomes an impossibility
For what remains is a scission
Peace be with you all of your days
May your mind be free and clear
Decisive in all of your ways
God loves you so much you hear?

HAVE A VERY BLESSED DAY !!! ❤️❤️❤️
Wild Wacky Wednesday Weather (hee)
Hungarian style stuffed cabbage for dinner tonight. Sherry will make enough to share with Steve and Betty who love them also.
oooh … my mouth is watering
It seems no one in eastern Idaho knows how to make Polish Golabki.
Please share some with me = a couple of your ‘yum yum’s will do nicely, thank you
I ate three when I should have only eaten two. Sherry ate two. Took four over to Steve & Betty with some of the potatoes they were roasted with. There are still nine left so you know what we’re having tomorrow. In fact there is a high probability I’ll heat up at least one for a midnight snack. Took Sherry 3 hours to prepare them for the oven.
Steve brought over some fresh and and still quite warm black berry cobbler last night. That didn’t last long! I thought about putting a dip of vanilla ice cream on my piece but it smelled so good I decided against that and ate just as it came.
1 shortcut that might not be appreciated is to freeze the whole cabbage and then thaw it.
Peace and quiet.
Saturday used the golf cart and went around the yard picking up sticks and weed wacking. Sherry and I mowed as Steve and Betty did also.
This morning I fed the birds, including peanuts in the shell for the Jays, woodpeckers, and squirrels. looking out to the east our yard and Steve and Betty’s 3 acre field looked like a well groomed park. So peaceful. There is the log cabin and picnic shelter I helped Steve build. The tilled garden ready for planting.
Oak, Maple, Apple, and Sassafras trees spread about but not so thick that we can’t see further to the east to the hay field and the horse pasture beyond.
A white tail yearling, all alone, comes moving furtively from south to north, stopping frequently to check for danger. It disappears to the north and then five minutes later it comes trotting back heading no doubt heading for the stand of woods that is SE of Steve & Betty’s field.
I get all kinds of birds at my feeders and seed blocks. Jays, Red Winged black birds, Grackles, morning doves, house finches, tufted tit mouse, yellow finches, cow birds, about 5 different species of sparrows, Red headed woodpeckers, Red Breasted woodpeckers, Hairy woodpeckers, and downy woodpeckers. And for the first time as regular visitors that are obviously nesting in the area, Red Breasted Groosbeak, and the big and beautiful Pileated Woodpecker.
I also get six different fox squirrels and at least two piney squirrels that come by regularly to feed.
So peaceful.
My son and his wife and my granddaughter and her husband all enjoy their visits to our place. Say there is just something about it. How pretty and quiet and peaceful it is. Both have said they want to move here when we’re gone.
But one has to realize a big part of the beauty is because of the work that Steve and Betty do to keep their property up. All 5 acres of it! Three connecting lots. That’s a lot of mowing and dealing with dead fall, cleaning reeds out of the pond, weed wacking around the trees and along the farm fence row bordering the hay field, and all the other stuff that comes with maintaining a property.
So a large part of the desirability of our place relies on who will take over Steve and Betty’s place when they are gone. Steve is 75 and Betty only two years or so younger. People willing to do the work like Steve and Betty are few and far between.
And then there is no doubt there will be development creeping this way.
Indy keeps growing north and lots of people in town work in Indy and our desirable area is closer to the interstate going to Indy than anywhere in town..
There will no doubt come a day when the massive corn fields across the road to our west will be sold off for development. The town will likely grow south, the city government already covets our water and wants to put in wells for the city out here. We’ve had to fight off a plastic manufacturing plant that wanted to go in a couple miles north of us near the Menard’s on the bypass because the company had a terrible environmental record.
The point being that sometime after we’re gone this place will not be so peaceful and even sooner may possibly not be as beautiful as it is now. None of Steve’s kids want his place and it takes a special kind of person to be willing to do the work to keep that place up. I don’t see my son and wife or my granddaughter and husband wanting to take care of so much land.
Putting out a prayer that someone hardworking and appreciative might appear in your neighborhood and keep up the good work
Thank you.
Don’t know that I’ve ever seen a grackle
Have only seen them mentioned here at Treehouse, in the phrase “strip-mall grackles”
A known entity to some folks, depending on where they’re from and their life experience (the folks, not the grackles)
Like “truck-stop floozies”, I guess
Will have to look them up to see a photo
(the grackles, not the floozies)
— I am Nimrodman, and I approved this message
They’re a type of black bird, often seen in the parking lots of fast food places scavenging for fries or whatever they can find on the ground. Tehy’re larger than the red winged black birds.
Down in Texas when we were stationed at Ft. Sam Houston, San Antonio, they had a subspecies of purple grackles larger than the what we have up here and with a unique call.

Peace and Tranquility Prayers
Prayer for a Calm Heart
Lord of Peace, as evening falls, I seek the calmness only You can provide. Quell the storms of my mind and replace anxiety with Your peace. As the world quiets down, let my heart do the same. May Your presence envelop me so that I may know tranquility tonight and always. Amen.
Serenity at Day’s End
Heavenly Father, with the closing of this day, I ask for serenity. As the nightsky displays its vast beauty, let my soul mirror its peacefulness. Help me to let go of the worries of the day and trust in Your loving care. May Your peace reign in my heart and home tonight. Amen.
Prayer for Restful Stillness
Dear God, in the stillness of this evening, I come to You seeking rest for my soul. Help me to lay down the burdens I’ve carried today and find comfort in Your arms. Grant me peace that passes understanding and a rest that restores my spirit. May my sleep be undisturbed and my dreams be sweet. Amen.
Nighttime Whisper for Peace
Creator of All, as I listen to the night’s gentle whisper, I ask for peace to settle over me. Let Your tranquility wash away the noise of the day. In this quiet hour, I lean on Your promise of peace, a heavenly balm to my weary soul. Keep me in perfect peace as I keep my mind stayed on You. Amen.
Prayer for Gentle Rest
Omnipotent and Gentle Lord, at the end of this day, I seek the gentle rest that You so lovingly provide. May my mind be at ease, my body relax, and my spirit find harmony. Help me to release every concern into Your capable hands and sleep in the assurance of Your protection and peace. Amen.
