Specifically, because I follow the networks of the U.S. intelligence community and how they intersect with political objectives and interests of the U.S. government, I would be remiss if I did not point out that next month a Hollywood production by Stephen Spielberg is being released.
The Spielberg movie is called “Disclosure Day,” and the plot of the movie is the U.S. government informing the American people that alternative life systems, essentially alien entities, exist in our universe. We were two days out and getting ready for bed when my wife said, “What’s that?”. Looking up I saw four glowing oval lights in a diamond formation. My first thought was they were spot lights on helicopters. I was thinking out loud about why we couldn’t see or hear the helicopters when they took off with instant acceleration, two to the left, two to the right. I freaked. I wanted to run down the trail to find somebody to tell. Then they came back. High speed, instant stop in the same formation. My mind was blowen. They took off again. Instant speed and you could just barely tell which direction. Then they came back, again instant stop in formation. This went on for about 45 minutes, with us just sitting there watching. Finally I thought, what if they see us? We decided to crawl into our tent and go to sleep. MUFON have offered to do hypnotic regression on us, but I’m not sure I want to know. As I say, once you see something (after 45 minutes, it’s really something) your whole perspective changes. What they are showing now, is nothing compared to what we saw. By the way. They were close enough that if you held up a quarter at arms length. the quarter would just about cover up one of the ovals.
That’s a very interesting experience! Back in the ’80s one night I was lazily observing what I thought was an unusually low-flying jet without its blinking lights turned on, when it slowed to a dead stop, hesitated, and then blasted off in another direction—so fast it was barely visible except for the faint streak of light.
Another weird thing happened in the 2000s, also at night, and featured dancing light orbs on the St. Lawrence River that were interacting with (independent!) lights under the water. That went on for about an hour and I heard people from a couple cottages over enjoying the “show” as well. My dog saw the beginning, barked a little and then tucked up for a nap.
I had a very similar experience to both you and River Elf. I’m in north central Minnesota. One night in 1994, my girlfriend said the sky looks funny. I thought she was being silly. But when I looked up, I saw a slow-moving squadron. They all had small white lights, which I assume was camouflage to look like stars. However, they were only about 200-300 ft above us. She pointed a flashlight at the one in front. It stopped and started to spin with red and blue colors. I freaked out and slapped the flashlight out of her hand. It then flew to the north horizon in an instant, then back again but a little further in front of the rest (faster than any jet). Then the one in back took off in a streak of light and disappeared. The tracer it left makes me believe it flew at the speed of light. The rest kept slowly moving to the east until they were no longer visible. Humans do not have the technology we saw. I feel very privileged to have witnessed this.

It’s all a bunch of nonsense. The distances are so vast between solar systems with habitable planets, even within the same galaxy, let alone between galaxies, that no alien race and humans will ever likely meet. Not saying alien races out there cannot exist. Maybe they do, but you will probably have to save your curiousity about it until you find yourself in the afterlife.
Most of what you see about faster-than-lightspeed technologies is simply science fiction trying to let readers and viewers make sense of their story lines. All current theories are just that – theories. No reason to believe any of it could ever pan out, even if technology could be developed to implement any such a theory.
Once saw an estimate that using the fastest current technology, if an inter-stellar spaceship could even be designed to use it, it would take at least 60,000 years to reach the nearest possible habitable planets, two of which are believed to be in the Alpha Centauri system about 4.25 light years away. That is just one-way and it is around 10 times the length of recorded history, so even if we could send such a mission, it certainly would not be manned and the spaceship would probably malfunction long before it could get there despite all the redundancies you could fill it with.
So study the stars all you want – we are not going there, and no one out there is coming here. And that might just be God’s plan, perhaps similar to the biblical story of the Tower of Babel. This UFO stuff grabs a lot of attention and fun and that is fine. But everyone should just keep some rational perspective about all of it.

Rationally, there are most definitely other life forms out there. Advanced like us? Maybe not.
Given the size and distance of our sun, our moon, tides, temperatures, water, how many asteroids have hit us, magnetic field, tilt, wobble, and size of earth, I’m not sure any other planet could end up with similar conditions that allowed humans to be.
If there were intelligent creatures that could travel the stars they would have had to develop the wheel, hammers, knives, vehicles, aircraft, weapons, communications, and so much more, before they could explore the universe. The only way creatures could do this is with hands that can grip. On our Earth there are very few creatures with thumbs or the ability to even wield a stick. So, no, no crab claw insect lizard people out there without dexterity.

The spiritual realm is beyond our perception in this life. Among Catholics we call this the Veil.
That realm and the biblical heaven described may very well exist both here and throughout the heavens, in ways we cannot yet comprehend.
We are very limited beings here and now.
But we are not talking about the spiritual realm. We are talking about living beings traveling great distances from other planets. Does the Bible mention them in either the Old or New Testament?

We might be talking spiritual realm. Is there any proof they’re “beings”? Show me physical evidence of their spacecraft and not fuzzy photos from the ‘50’s.
Why would the spiritual realm need a machine that flies to get to Earth? Spiritual beings have no physical body. That makes no sense. A more plausible explanation would be another dimension and they use some kind of machine to cross dimensions. Still I believe we are all alone. It is also a temporal issue. Intelligent life on this planet has been a tiny blip in time, and odds aren’t in favor of it lasting long.
If a species has inter-galactic space travel capabilities, they’d probability look at Earth like we look at ants and maybe observe us. But due to their being far more advanced than Earth would more than likely ignore us.
Or fear our awful destructive nature. Maybe they isolated us in the furthest reaches of the Universe because we can’t even get along with each other?

Well, there are “unidentified” flying objects out there so one can believe that. There is much we don’t know. People see all kinds of things like bigfoot, Loch Ness monster, flying demons, ghosts, aliens, chemtrails, mothmen, krakens, vampires, witches, trolls(those are real) and we don’t really know what we see, but people firmly believe they see these things.
I along with a group of boy scouts ending a day working the fields saw a bright light, almost like flames or sun, at the end of the field to the east, slowly moving north for 5 or 10 minutes, stopping, then moving again, until it just disappeared. I never assigned this to aliens but we did see something odd above the tree line that was “unidentified”.
I have ABSOLUTE, positive PROOF that they are lost drone delivery vehicles from the Amazon Store equivalent in an adjacent galaxy.

I grew up a Star Trek fan. The Apollo missions were being broadcast on TV. I watched as Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. I tried desperately to wrap my young mind around the idea of an “infinite” universe with millions of stars with thousands of habitable planets in their orbits. I spent most of my youth certain that among all of those thousands of planets, certainly there must be other life out there somewhere and wondering to myself “What would that mean?”
As I grew up, the universe just kept getting bigger. Galaxy after galaxy was shown to us by the Hubble telescope. It is impossible to imagine how many stars there are in the universe, and yet no proof of life on other worlds ever materialized. I found myself wondering “What if we’re it? ” What if there is no other life in the vast universe? What if the only life “out there” is what’s right here? What would that mean?
Prayer came easy after that.
