Indiana Governor Mike Braun is celebrating along with President Trump after the intransigent republican state senate refused a redistricting push and an upswell of support for primary challengers has delivered a resounding victory.
In the seven target races it looks like six of the weak Republican state senators have been defeated with one race too close to call.
INDIANA – Indiana Republican voters decisively sided with President Donald Trump’s call for political vengeance against state senators who defied him and voted down congressional redistricting.
Results from Tuesday’s primaries showed at least five Republican senators defeating challengers endorsed by Trump, with another Trump-backed candidate winning an open seat primary. Only one of the eight senators opposed by pro-redistricting groups — Greg Goode of Terre Haute — was a certain winner.
Those incumbent senators defeated were Travis Holdman of Markle, Jim Buck of Kokomo, Linda Rogers of Granger, Dan Dernulc of Highland and Greg Walker of Columbus. All their challengers received 60% of the vote or more, according to preliminary tallies compiled by The Associated Press.
Sen. Spencer Deery of West Lafayette was leading by just three votes at 11 p.m. Tuesday. And Sen. Rick Niemeyer of Lowell was down 1,300 votes with 87% reporting.
Gov. Mike Braun, who joined Trump in endorsing their challengers, cheered the results.
“Historic night for Indiana as Republicans stood with me and President Trump to nominate some great America First conservatives,” said a Braun social media post. “I look forward to winning big in November and serving Hoosiers with this team in the statehouse!”
The results could jeopardize Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray’s hold on the top Senate leadership position he’s held since 2018.
Trump repeatedly blasted Bray and GOP senators who opposed the push to redraw Indiana’s U.S. House maps to carve up the two districts held by Democrats with the aim of a 9-0 Republican congressional delegation. (read more)
This kind of result will make weak Republicans in several states more likely to support redistricting.
As noted by Politico: “Republicans all over the country are looking at Indiana,” said Sen. Jim Banks, whose Hoosier Leadership for America, along with another group American Leadership PAC, both run by team Trump adviser Andrew Surabian, combined to spend about $8 million on television and digital ads. He added: “There’s a big message here, but the message isn’t a new message. The message we’ve learned over the last 10 years is: It’s Donald Trump’s Republican Party.”

Live look-in at the SC Senate…
I live in SC and have asked both the Speaker and the Majority Leader to redraw the districts. Clyburn’s district 6 is a mess and I an part of it, but I should not be. Districts should match cities and counties. District 6 goes partially into various cities and counties throughout the state in a spider pattern to give Clyburn race numbers.
You haven’t been Paying attention to what the SCOTUS is Saying;
Districts CAN Match; Whatever the State Legislature Says….
As Long as they are Not Done because of RACE.
A Smart State Legislature; can take the Voting Precincts, And Pick Off enough Democrat (Or Republican) Precincts and Stick them into Strong Republican Districts, so as to Dilute the Democrat District OFF The Map.
So, It Should Not go by Cities and Counties.
We Need to Divide UP the Democrat Cities/Counties and Spread them North, South, East, West into Republican Districts, so as to get Rid of Democrat Districts in the Cities.
It’s Strictly a Numbers Game. Ai, could probably do it in about 5 minutes.
Just remember, there can be litigation against obvious minority-majority districts after the elections due to the SCOTUS opinion. The states that don’t seriously look into this issue NOW are using an unconstitutional map.
P.S. I don’t trust AI. Who writes the program?
Your very last sentence is key to ALL AI programs. Too many people just assume AI is right because it comes from a COMPUTER. Most people don’t realize that a ANY computer can only run what it is told to run – that it all depends on the human-written program. This needs to be emphasized. Just because something comes from AI doesn’t mean it is correct.
Anything that favors the Republicans will be contested by the DemonRats, one way or another. They will not stand by and let justice be served. That’s the way they operate.
Good job Hoosiers !!!
FAFO RINOs.
Fool doesn’t understand it has nothing to do with “revenge” or “retribution” – but has EVERYTHING to do with electing people who are for America, for the people of our nation, and for our Constitution. We are in a war to save our nation – if you aren’t on board, step the hell aside or you’ll get run over.
revenge and retribution is a two way street, or streets….
what is is called when they refused the push to redistrict ? I am sure it had nothing to do with hating Trump.
Is selling out a Christian Value?
#Let’sAskMikePence!
#Let’sAsk🪰!
😁
Sen. Holdman, don’t confuse revenge and retribution with simple accountability. There was no revenge involved. Just accountability.
BUH- BYE !
Senator Greg Walker – who stayed in Office to FIGHT AGAINST Re-Districting –> BYE !

@ 16 seconds: “…There’s life after serving in the Indiana Senate, and I’m going to find out what it’s like.” So…he’s “serving” in the Indiana Senate, and he doesn’t know what life is like in Indiana?!!!
The question is who is he serving.
Check is donor list.
I’d like to know what this ass knows about “Christian values”.
…so the message depicted by LOSERS is “It’s not Christian to vote against us”!?!
Blasphemy.
Typical fallback tactic employed by the RINO Pharisees.
Lame RINO excuse ! As an elected representative of your district why not listen to and follow will of the people.
“C’mon, man.”
He’s bitter.
Ah, but judgement is most definitely a Christian value, holding accountable those who “represent” US!
Precisely what I would expect from the Mike Pence wing of the R party in Indiana.
So long, loser. You were there to represent the people and you did not.
You’re fired.
The funny thing about Mike Pence is that the Indianapolis GOPe mafia was ready to turn their back on him and give the Democrats a gubinatorial win in 2016 and TRUMP saved him.
Nothing amoral about it. The RINO voted counter to the wishes of those he was elected to represent on an issue that may well have consequences for both the nation and the Party. The bitter old man put his friendship with the President Pro Temp in the Senate over the clear desires of his constituents. Now he can retire.
Learn the difference between being your constituents’ formerly elected Agent who votes their will,… Not their Trustee who thinks he has carte blanche to vote as he alone pleases.
See where thinking your were their Trustee has landed you,… out of office now and griping.
No More Rinos!
i Believe the Comment Earlier was : ” FIX BAYONETS ” ( metaphorically of course )
Those voting republican in the County that i Live in JUST DEFEATED ( 2 ) Incumbents by DOUBLE the Margin
LISTEN to the people THAT ELECTED YOU or FACE Being PRIMARIED or RECALLED
Great work to you & your neighbors!
Yep, keep Mr. Dominion out of the game and all sorts of wonderful things begin to happen.
So true.
THIS is what the MAGA sausage factory needs to be all about!
The 2020 steal showed us just how rotten to the core our fake two party system is at every level.
And the worst offenders were GOP State politicians in Georgia, Arizona, and Pennsylvania.
The MAGA battle cry should be….
Primary them all!! At every level!! Get rid of every last one of them!! Little by little”!!
The only Great Replacement we need is of the entire GOP.
i BELIEVE This SAYS it BEST –
” “Eileen’s campaign manager had small paper-shaped diapers with the words ‘Time for a change’ which the voters could pin on their lapels” was printed in The Vidette-Messenger (Valparaiso, IN) on Novembe 14, 1950. “Seasoned politics-watchers can only remind the gloomies that a more or less regular turnover is good for the Republic. In a sound democracy, our rulers ought to be changed routinely, like diapers for the same reason” was printed in the San Francisco (CA) Examiner on November 10, 1966. ”
https://barrypopik.com/blog/politicians_and_diapers_should_both_be_changed_regularly_and_for_the_same_r
https://quoteinvestigator.com/2018/10/17/diaper/
These are not regular times. We have an existential threat to western civilization. This Nov. could not be more critical to saving our country and really, the world.
We are at War !
That should be on t-shirts everywhere.
In a constitutional republic turnover is good. President Washington demonstrated his wise adherence to that principle when he chose not to run for a third term.
“Remove and Replace” should be a constant process, except in the rare cases when a politician actually performs his duties for the benefit of We The People and in defense of our God-given liberties.
Government employees and consultants should also be subject to “Term Limits”.
Lesson: FAFO RINO’s!
Ha! Looks like R Iacoveo beat me to it a few comments above.
Expect the DC machine to begin spinning this bloodbath as a win for them, Dems & RINO’s , by stating this result will make it more likely that voters will go against the MAGA candidates in the general election thereby increasing the Dems footprint in their senate. I’m already viewing Dem pundits on other outlets sending out their trial ballon talking points in time for this mornings broadcasts.
I am dee-lighted! Delighted! This is such a rejection of Judas Pence, Paulie Ryan and their entire crew.
Great job, Hoosiers!
Pardon,….. Paul RYNO.
I’m proposing that we stop calling them RINOs. They’re immune to the term.
Let’s start calling them what they are. Cross dressing democrats.
That works.
I have been calling them the Vichy French Republicans so they’re synonymous.
I live in Michigan City, Indiana (LaPorte County) In Michigan City itself, the majority is Dem (55-45). The County overall is Republican (57-43) and moving every year to more Republican. There’s quite a few rural, home-grown, established local politicians that were originally dem and switched in the last 10-15 years to Republican. I call them RINOSORE – Repub in Name Only – Switched Over to Remain Electable. The Dems in the County must act like Repubs (or switch parties) and the Repubs that need votes within Michigan City proper (largest population in Laporte County) tend to downplay America First in the mistaken attempt to get Dem votes in midterms, etc. From my experience here for 7 years, you cannot pretend to me a moderate Repub and get any dem votes. I have not seen it. This dynamic is common throughout many parts of Indiana. Former dems that switched to repubs are the worst. RINOSOREs cannot be trusted with America First, they hate PDJT (sometimes out in the open) and they were very vocal about voting against Re-districting. Pence is probably their hero; RINOSOREs are all for friendly relations with dems despite the fact that dems vote in unison in the capitol on every crazy dem idea that comes up for a vote. Also, all dem politicians will blather on and on about public service and working across the aisle (especially during election cycle) but will ALWAYS attack Governor Braun, PDJT and every America First Republican Hoosier for every problem or perceived problem in the state.
You are 100% correct.
Love it! 💯💕
On the flip side….
The woke right candidates Tucker Carlson has promoted have been imploding….
Incumbent Thomas Massie (indorsed by RFK’s MAHA PAC v DJT backed Ed Gallreis (KY-4) is the primary race to watch in a fortnight.
Outstanding news!
Results from Tuesday’s primaries showed at least five Republican senators –> defeating <– challengers endorsed by Trump, with another Trump-backed candidate winning an open seat primary. This above statement from the https://indianacapitalchronicle.com/
Is at odds with…
"Indiana Republican voters decisively sided with President Donald Trump’s call for political vengeance against state senators who defied him and voted down congressional redistricting."
I had to read that a few times too. I decided it must be a misprint – supposed to say “defeated by challengers”, I think.
My double take thinking cap was not that it must be a misprint.
Years of honing my CHT pretending puppetmaster skillset lead me to the conclusion that the Indiana Capitol Chronicle is projecting an air of victory in the face of defeat.
Heck, TDS at the social media level and establish Party politics dictates a ploy of fast and loose journalism.
Make no mistake this so called “misprint” has an intended audience. That audience is the…
The lazy at large National Corporate Media newsrooms picks up this local, regional reporting; AND breathes a sigh of relief.
It is the height of editorial hypocrisy only meant to satisfy TDS Pearl Clutchers sense that MAGA is being rejected by the voting population.
And a story like this only virtue signals this elitist entitlement.
In my book, it is called hoodwinking, or bait and switch.
Indiana Capitol Chronicle
Is that a Canadian run newspaper?
Mr. Trump made a good call when he did not form a new party. A tall order to reform/take over the existing party, but he has faith that perseverance in the Truth wins over those who are paying attention.
He has made a similar sound call in his continued faith in the principles of our Declaration and Constitution. We the People may be justified in taking to arms and revolt against the massive corruption in our government and rebel against the government, the RINOs, the Democrats, the Communists, the Muslims, the Lawfare, WEF, USCOC, K street, and swamp.
But doing so risks the destruction of the mechanisms of the existing Constitutional republic, and rebuilding such a structure in middle of the Cacophonyof political views and voices would have been impossible. Better to honor and preserve the Constitution as founded in prayer, and persuade people to respect it.
Our Lion has done this masterfully. Each one of us every day needs to ask what we can do for our country, rather than scream to the universe what we think we need. I think someone else has said that before much better.
But he has to fight just as hard for his “approved/endorsed” successor in ‘28, whoever that may be. He can’t step away as Shrub did in ‘08, or it’ll be all for naught.
Well used Doc have a great day
One day I hope to get the full story on how President Trump and friends gamed this out a decade in advance.
There is so much infrastructure that belongs to the Republican party that should not be abandoned. Offices, donor lists, local people who get you on the ballot, poll watchers, lawyers, fundraisers, pollsters, etc.
When these resources are overseen by Lara Trump, for instance, you elect MAGA candidates.
It’s good to see politicians suffer consequences for their unpopular ‘we know better than the constituents’ policies.
Politicians are elected to represent us, not to lord over us.
Now carry this on to the general election in November. Make sure you go vote.
Rino’s,
MAGA,
Pennsylvania needs the same treatment and outcome.
And Georgia
Obviously these fools do not understand that REPRESENTATIVE means REPRESENTING your constituents. Good-bye, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, adios.
Under our current system of campaign finance, politicians represent those who DONATED the most money to their campaigns – regardless of where these donors are located. Hence Soros DAs across the nation, for example.
Scot Pressler has a word of thanks for TPUSAction:
https://xcancel.com/ScottPresler/status/2051834435306450999#m
They took Charlie off the field but he lives on through TPUSA. Go with God Charlie! We were blessed to have had you!
Pressler and Wren for RNC chair!
Amen to that!
Good. Still not enough effort Nationwide.
The Dems are cornered and will kill anything that gets in the way of a midterm win for them.
Sad.
Indiana just took out a bunch of cross dressing demoncraps.
Take the “W”
YES!
Amen to that mom
They will do ANYTHING to lie, cheat and steal in order to feed their addiction to power. Worse than a drug addiction!
As a life long Hoosier, I can’t tell you how happy yesterday’s election results made me.
The Indiana Republican Establishment is thoroughly corrupt-no better than a Chicago Democrat, for example.
Our GOP establishment hates President Trump, and they hate the MAGA voters. They openly scorned President Trump’s efforts to redraw State legislative maps. They haughtily proclaimed that “we” are above that kind of “dirty politics.”
“We Republicans” do things the “right way” they said.
They said all this as the #1 Republican “fixer” in the State-former Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel-circled the drain under the weight of 31 felony charges in one of the biggest public corruption cases in Indiana history. (By the way, the good Sheriff was a close friend of Judas Mike Pence)
Indiana Republicans are just now starting to realize that We The People are fed up. They can whine all they want about “revenge and retribution” and pretend to be “pious Christians.” They are liars and thieves.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
By the way, it wasn’t just the redistricting issue that Hoosiers were mad about.
The Indiana Republican Party openly told Hoosier voters to go screw themselves on the property tax issue.
Skyrocketing property taxes are bleeding us dry and the Indiana GOP told us to just bend over and accept it.
Yesterday was a great big HELL NO to the corrupt robber barons.
Lovely! Just lovely! What delightful news to wake up to!
https://tennesseestar.com/elections/randy-allen-defeats-incumbent-rutherford-county-mayor-joe-carr-in-gop-primary/khousler/2026/05/06/
Same here in Rutherford County, TN. 👏👏👏👏
Good news all over our great nation!
Indiana R’s haven’t been the same since Bill Hudnut left office.
I grew up in Indiana and lived here from 1964 to 1987. Moved back to my hometown three years ago. My once strongly R town which went 55% D in the 2024 election, unfortunately. Too many liberals from other blue states have moved to Hamilton County over the past 15 years and brought their dumb voting habits with them.
I abhor Mike Pence and all he did under DJT and stands for. Bring back the real R’s to my home state.
Hamilton County was historically a conservative GOP stronghold with no organized DemonCrat opposition whatsoever.
Now it is infested with college educated leftists and Third World Muslims. As the saying goes-slowly at first, then all of a sudden.
There was some good news from State Senate District 31, which covers a portion of Hamilton County.
Juanita Albright defeated Tiffanie Ditlevson and others in the GOP primary. Ditlevson was endorsed by the GOP establishment. Albright was endorsed by The People.
In the Dem primary, a man named Andrew Dezelan lost but still received nearly 1200 votes. He was arrested on May 5 for cocaine possession and resisting arrest while canvassing in the district. He was apparently “high on his own supply.”
1200 Hamilton County voters cast their vote for “Tony Montana.”
It’s a familiar pattern. The D’s voted for Mayor Berry in DC after he was caught on video doing drugs. Convicted felons make attractive D candidates. They have proven they know how to lie, cheat, and steal.
It’s a requirement for Dems. There will be a test in November.
Congratulations, Bruce! Great job by the voters in Indiana.
Amen! Well said.
Hahahaha! Gateway Pundit reporting a Bloodbath! Wooo-hooo!
The very silent Judas Pence has strong connections with the state just like the worthless Bush in Texas.
Had President Trump not chosen him for VP, Pence most certainly would have been defeated running for reelection as Governor.
As it stands today, Judas Pence couldn’t win an election for dog catcher anywhere in Indiana.
Current Governor Mike Braun will lose in two years because he’s terrible.
President Trump’s endorsement won’t make Hoosiers forget how Braun lied to us on property taxes.
Wonderful news! And with him, his chubby, sour-puss wife who prays “in the Name of Jesus”, but won’t even say hello to PDJT.
She is a hateful, spiteful bitter woman-the very antithesis of the “good wife” described in Proverbs 31: 10-31.
I saw it – I think it was the Carter memorial service at the National Cathedral. It was written over her entire face.
At the 2016 GOP convention, Trump was up against intense RINO pressure, and the RINOs controlled the convention and the delegate process. His choice of Pence was strategic, IMO, to resolve that pressure. Actually, Pence might have been the result of a deal Trump struck with the RINOs. Same thing happened in 1980 to Reagan, who was basically forced to accept Bush Sr.
I’m sure that’s true.
The “conventional wisdom” amongst the RINOS was that President Trump had no credibility with “evangelicals” (not true) and that he needed Judas Pence (establishment RINO who plays an evangelical on TV) to pull the “evangelical vote.”
Pence ended up being the “inside man” inside the administration sneakily sabotaging the MAGA agenda.
Fake Christian. GOP Pharisee.
And we are seeing more candidates using their Christian (deception) affiliation as a marketing tool to get voters. We’ve been warned by God to watch for the people twisting God’s word.
And Kemp in GA…
one wonders how much of this failed venture was engendered by the turncoat Mike Pence…
“Defeating challengers endorsed by Trump”
Is this a typo?
It would appear so. Should have said, “…defeated by challengers endorsed by Trump.”
Great headline from Don Surber’s article:
Hoosier Daddy? Donald Trump
https://donsurber.substack.com/p/hoosier-daddy-donald-trump
LOVE Done Surber.
Sic semper RINOs!
THIS is what I voted for.
Thank you President Trump!
I just read all the comments and I can’t believe I’m the first to be critical of Vivek Ramalama-ding-dong. The man is a fabrication who got rich by the time honored Indian tradition of scamming/grifting. Please Sundance, do a deep dive on his purchase of a failed drug, renaming it, making false claims, and then selling it for hundreds of millions of dollars.
It’s hard to believe this crowd could be so submissive and easily duped.
Show some grace for the Ohio voters. RamaSwampy was running against the execrable Casey Putsch. The DemonCrats nominated Amy Acton-the poster child for lunatic leftist white women.
Ohio voters didn’t have any good choices.
🎯 💯
Maybe we stuck with the substance of the post… Indiana.
At least Vivek is contained in Ohio. Let’s judge him by his actions over the next few years. Many people have seen the light and changed. (Rubio).
Posted earlier on another CTH thread:
Vivek can’t be trusted. Remember when he said Americans were shiftless and lazy while advocating for expanding the H1-b visa program.
He also is accused of being an IPO scammer:
2014- he acquires alzheimer’s drug called Axovant for $ 5 million
drug had already failed phase 2 trials in 2010
Vivek’s mother Geetha Ramaswamy conducts ‘new’ phase 2 trials in 2015 which is conveniently successful
$350 million IPO in 2015 where Vivek cashes out
September 2017 phase 3 trial failure causes stock to crash 75% in value
after more trial failures stock crashes 99% and company changes name.
Vivek may have been the better choice given who was running against him, but he is not to be trusted.
seems this was a choice of two evils.
He’s a Rammaswammy snake, imo. But yeah, the lesser of two evils. Ohioans have some serious vigilance /surveillance work headed their way.
I am in the Jim Baird district in Indiana. He seems like an establishment guy who hasn’t really accomplished anything. Unfortunately the primary challengers seemed equally flaky.
Howdy neighbor.
I think there was sympathy after his wife died post the auto accident.
I have contacted his office many times via email and only hear from him when he’s campaigning and wants funds.
He’s good at not making much of a presence anywhere and not getting much done.
But he sure is good at getting paid.
Taking back our country one primary at a time.
MAGA!!!
Republican State Senator Travis Holdman, who lost by 20 points, “Revenge & retribution is not a Christian value.”
Just think of it as separating the sheep from the goats, Holdman.
I think wheat from the chaff is a better description.
It’s LONGGGGGGGGGG past time to put fear of God into these turncoat scumbags…….
The only WORSE than an American communist called Democrat is a greedy corrupt RINO scumbag commie supporter…..
FIRE THEM ALL! ARREST THE CORRUPT!
NO MECRY!
RENO – Re-Elect No One!
All of these scumbags should be shown the door…perhaps it’s a sign that people are finally waking up. I would never have predicted this result…figured the turncoats following Judas Pence would have kept the status quo. And arrests are loooong overdue.
Winning!
What many Americans don’t know is that these redistricting efforts are to undo or correct radical districting done by the left over the past couple of decades. This needs to be said in reporting on these efforts!
The Indiana State Senate GOP caucus leanings are now Penceless instead of senseless.
Other RINOs will take note.
Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) is by far the most powerful person in Indiana’s government. He has more power than the governor.
Bray is the leader of the anti-Trump, anti-redistricting, anti-property tax reform cabal in Indiana.
Bray was not on the ballot yesterday; he is up for reelection in 2028. Trump already has a giant bullseye on Bray.
Lotsa luck Rodric. Your time is coming.
This is very Good News.
This Hoosier thinks that Senate President Pro Tempore Rodric Bray, who led the resistance to redistricting will not be President for long after the next legislature is seated. Travis Holdman, who is crying about losing his seat now. was a powerful ally of that traitor. We still have more RINO horns that need collected.
Bray is on the ballot in 2028. That will be the biggest of all RINO horns.
Kudos to the voters in Indiana.
Congrats Indiana MAGA!
20 miles to the south of us is a town called Festus, MO. A few months back the town council green-lit a data center project that the constituents overwhelmingly opposed.
Not 10 days to 2 weeks before their local council election. All those voting for the project are unemployed!
Sundance: “Results from Tuesday’s primaries showed at least five Republican senators defeating challengers endorsed by Trump, with another Trump-backed candidate winning an open seat primary.”
This does not appear to be correct. “defeating challengers endorsed by Trump”
Mike Pence again loses to MAGA!!
Amen to that.
I voted for policies like this!
This is what needs to be done. A long MAGA march through the statehouse. And the school boards. And the Congress.
Where do you think the UNIPARTY senators and representatives come from? The statehouse farm teams.
The Indiana Senate leader is a clown named Bray. That’s a sound a donkey makes which is what he did regarding redistricting. He needs to be sidelined. In two years he can be sent back home.
