Trump put us in a no LOSE situation. If Iran starts charging massive amounts for oil to come out of the gulf, then countries will buy from us. So if we walk away from the war at any point, we divest from the Middle East and everyone has to buy oil from us.
And don’t think that Iran will just let others not pay the toll at the Hormuz. We just flattened all their infrastructure and military. They need every penny they can get. And we also smashed their main oil facility on Kurg island. They can’t not collect unless they do business with us.

Middle Eastern rug merchants never negotiate until you have walked out the door. It is their culture.
You dance, you play, you frown, you gasp, you display what you might want, you offer your best offer and they march off offended by the offensive insult.
