I think that President Trump just jumped from the frying pan into the fire with having Todd Blanche take over. Some in his inner circle are giving him bad advice.
POTUS has never made a bad appointment in the grand scheme of the extended game of chess.
Even when he moves the enemy’s pawns, he knows exactly who that person is, who owns them, and he has at least behavioral analysis predictions in hand as to what they will do, who they will leak to, etc.
He makes appointments not to positions, but to tasks.
Like the less than a week of vile Anthony Scaramucci – he knew AS well enough to know his first move would be to fire a bunch of people. So he put AS in, let him make the known move, then fired his butt. Not because he liked AS or thought he would do a good job in the post, but because he could predict the way in which the dog would lift his leg and which tree he would pee on. And it was trees that needed someone to pee on them. Mission accomplished. AS embarrassed was just icing on the cake.
My humble opinion.

That’s brilliant and so true!
We’re all busy thinking the old ways — that these positions are lofty and powerful and being appointed is a big deal. (Sort of reminds me of when I thought going to the hospital might help someone, you know, that doctors were healers and hospital administrators weren’t corrupt).
But President Trump’s mind works differently. He thinks in terms of achieving a goal — getting something done in the real world. And he is a genius at planning and stringing together goals to achieve the result he wants.
We need to forget all the pomp and circumstance and start thinking like President Trump.
I don’t know much about Lee Zeldin but one word to describe him is “tough.” Good match for the job at hand.
Donald Trump is this way because he grew up developing massive real estate projects in NYC – of all places.
This area up here is one of the most heavily regulated areas in the country.. you cannot get anything done at all around here unless you see the system very differently- ask any of us that live up here and actually succeed and thrive within the highly charged Regulation State that it all is.
He doesn’t look at things often through a lens of politics, he sees paths to move forward. Period.
And if he can make progress on his project by kissing the ass of anyone at all that holds the keys to where he needs to go, he’s going to do that because what he’s gotten for that is progress towards his goal and that right there is his prize- forward movement. And that forward movement has made him become what he’s had done. Now that he’s the President, that forward movement translates into winning the election and keeping his base of support and donors happy.
Donald Trump delivers, on time and on budget and this is how.
This is what life is like around here.. you cannot do things in this level of regulation, pushback, opposition and then Lawfare without an entirely different mindset.
This is why Trump often said in his first time that ‘he’d go work with Chuck and Nancy if the Republicans couldn’t deliver”.
While our side got the vapors, those of us that get it all because this is just life around here, we could see what this was all about.
They aren’t Democrats to him, they are the people that can move things forward and that is all he wants to happen.
So yeah, I agree, it’s not necessarily a position, it’s the place where a particular task needs to happen and he needs the one that will get it done.
When it’s done, you look at the next task and you may need someone else.
Imagine thinking, for example, that he put Alex Acosta in as Labor Secretary on Rubio’s “bad advice.”
LOL.
Acosta wasn’t there to be Labor Secretary.
He was there to be MSM bait.
Into educating the world about Epstein.
And it worked, brilliantly.
POTUS knew exactly who Acosta was, and what he’d done, all verbal distancing aside.
What Trump is focused on dealing with also isn’t always what we think it is- he’s always miles ahead of us multi-tasking.
He’s got the big picture in his head and we’ve got no idea at all what that looks like..

The Gateway Pundit article states that Trump was not happy that Gabbard didn’t call out Joe Kent for his betrayal and public statements against the Iran war. Regardless, I am hoping and praying that Tulsi stays in her position.

Court throws out election denier Tina Peters’ sentence for voting equipment tampering
The Colorado Court of Appeals has thrown out election denier Tina Peters’ nine-year prison sentence, finding that the lower court violated her First Amendment right to free speech related to her allegations of election fraud.
“The trial court’s comments about Peters’s belief in the existence of 2020 election fraud went beyond relevant considerations for her sentencing,” a three-judge panel wrote in a 77-page opinion. “Her offense was not her belief, however misguided the trial court deemed it to be, in the existence of such election fraud; it was her deceitful actions in her attempt to gather evidence of such fraud. Indeed, under these circumstances, just as her purported beliefs underlying her motive for her actions were not relevant to her defense, the trial court should not have considered those beliefs relevant when imposing sentence.”
The judges wrote that it was “apparent” the lower court imposed the sentence it did because Tina Peters continued to espouse election denying views.
“But the court failed to acknowledge that Peters is no longer the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder,” they continued. “She is no longer in a position to engage in the conduct that led to her conviction. So it cannot be said that the lengthy prison sentence was for specific deterrence. To the contrary, the sentence punished Peters for her persistence in espousing her beliefs regarding the integrity of the 2020 election.”
The state appeals court is asking the trial court to resentence Peters.

1) Designate Birth-Tourism Facilitators as Foreign Exploitation Networks Under the Immigration and Nationality Act.
2) Every hospital must report within 2 hours (via the new ICE portal) any birth where the mother is non-LPR/temporary/illegal. A public Birth Tourism Dashboard on http://DHS.gov listing aggregated numbers by country.
3) Directs SSA, State, and DHS to presume that any child born to a mother who is either unlawfully present or on a temporary non-immigrant visa (B-1/B-2, student, tourist, etc.) lacks parental domicile and therefore is not “subject to the jurisdiction” under the 1868 original meaning.
