In essence it was posted as a reply to a comment about liberals during the Covid Dark Ages when hysterics were posting that anyone not subjecting themselves to the Authoritarian State to get injected should be shunned, banished from society, lose their jobs, and worst, be rounded up and put into concentration camps. I’m sure you remember.
The meme was a photograph of one of those genocidal compounds in Germany. And the text said (paraphrasing), “If any of you ever wondered how it was possible to fall in line or if you would, now you know.”

I thought a lot about the Holocaust in those days and other such events in history.
It was truly frightening to look at what was going on when one could now fully understand where it all may have led too.
I didn’t comply at all and changed my entire not to and I was outraged that we didn’t rise up and reject it all. Especially the longer it all went on and so many knew it was all a scam but then did as they were told.
I’ve never been so disappointed in my fellow Americans as I was during that time.
What was shocking was the people we knew in our own lives who were so proud of getting ALL their vaccinations! Positively giddy!

There is a supermarket we frequented that did not enforce muzzle mandates but every time we’d go there one of their busy body employees would always approach me offering a muzzle. I always refused of course. The weird thing is she never once made the same offer to my husband…
Yup, I drove all over creation doing my shopping and errands to avoid Big Box anything that was enforcing this tyranny. I refused to give them a dime, it was work to find replacements for all these places but I felt it was necessary to do my part, to do what I could.
I was happy to support the small businesses working so hard to defy what was being forced on them too.
What a nightmare that all was.

It does no good, to posture as saving the world from evil when you do so by demonizing your political enemies and licensing your political allies to do evil. Those three should be better than that.

They also didn’t explore the fact that there was no escape for the unit. The unit must kill these people. Anybody who takes the out is not saving any lives. He is just putting his responsibility to kill on his fellows. Heroism is denied, even punished. No wonder why everybody thought they were weak.
I also suspect that the ‘leniency’ for the unwilling was top down. Don’t force a rebellion, But snuff out every attempt. Classifying oneself as weak may have also been a top down ‘approved’ escape route. Training, or the actual words used in implementing the order can create this predilection for calling opting out a weakness.

What terrible places do these doctors and nurses have to inhabit, Cjzack, to be able to blot out what they are doing? I don’t want to know.
They studied half their lives then worked cheap as interns, then the ovomitcare controllers threatened to take their livelihoods away. Mostly I cannot blame them and I am still hoping for a rebellion in the medical profession. The Medical Boards are elected by the physicians, but I am not sure if they can select who is running. I aim my hatred toward the CDC, NIH and WHO who forced them to.
There were some who refused, Bob. I could name at least two of our beloved Treepers who stood their ground. And yes, it cost them dearly. The list of the guilty and morally debased is long, beginning with the three you mention. But by no means limited to those.
The NIH has been evil for far longer than we know and I’d imagine all of them.
I know a scientist that sued the NIH almost 60 years ago now for doing what we all are just now hearing about- in other words, they’ve been at this far longer than that 60 years.

While I’m reading these comments this morning I’m thinking about the consternation here in St. Louis, people wondering how it is that 11, 12, 13 year olds can shoot someone in cold blood and exhibit no remorse whatsoever.
And what can be done to remedy whatever is lacking in their psyche. The Dr. Gosnells of the world remind us that there have always been Dr. Mengeles, and of all ages.
OT, but I noted Dr. Gosnell passed away recently. Thankful he got to spend 4-5 years behind bars in a small payment for the grief he gave to so many, including the precious babies.
When children don’t hear the word of God their conscience can be influenced by any number of satanic ways. Unless they get exposed to God, seek him on their own or have a near death experience, they become hard hearted.
The harder the “soil”gets the less likely any “seeds” can grow.

I think we must look this kind of issue square in the face for what it is. The court is not unbiased. Several of them will always make decisions based on who they align with politically for whatever reasons.
This decision should be a slam dunk easy one based on law and common sense and other evidence. Looks like it won’t be done that way by the majority of the Justices, but we don’t know for sure. To not face that possibility right now and not look for other remedies, is just hiding from the truth. Looks like Kagan and her two women clones along with Roberts perhaps are leaning against correcting the interpretation of this issue of birthright citizenship. What the other five will do is probably going to be the deciding factors. Alito and Thomas will be for changing it almost assuredly, Gorsuch and Cavanaugh could go either way.
Barrett is usually with the left so she most likely goes against the change. 5-4 against is what it seems to be leaning towards, but we really have no idea until it comes out. They could just punt on it too and decide nothing I guess. No sense not acknowledging the strong possibility of it going against Pres. Trump.
I wonder if they are considering the possibility of 100% moratorium on visas period if they don’t do the right thing.
i hope they do. while its all going to get challenged in courts, the executive (and i wish legislative, but at this stage they are too far gone) MUST re-assert its authority that the courts are NOT in charge of this stuff, and that their inability and unwillingness to confront the big issues will simply result in lots of other consequences and chaos.

There is a choice in what to share here. To not acknowledge that is the real hiding from the truth.
I don’t view it as “changing” it at all, I see it as merely a return to the long held understanding and use before the last forty years of intentional misunderstanding as a means of implementing the process of population replacement (which was in writing for years – see La Raza’s original tenets.)
This would be a correction of the XIVth Amendment interpretation to that clarified in congressional discussion – also on the record.
The corrected interpretation would be an acknowledgement that, with a society in which women who are due to give birth from across the globe can reach the US in a day’s time, a situation not remotely conceived of by the framers of this amendment, and strong proof that this ability is being used against the United States, and that, as someone above mentioned, the Constitution is not a national suicide pact.
There’s “doom,” there’s “despair,” and then there’s “discernment.” I’ll go with that last choice every single time.

Scotusblog is run by a left leaning journalist but is usually fairly accurate in their assessments, unfortunately.
Like so many other decisions from the court since Roberts took over, I suspect this one (which SHOULD be a slam dunk, in my logical opinion) will go 5-4 in the WRONG direction, based on some convoluted reasons put forth by ACB and the harpy three, and joined by Roberts. Alito will write a brilliant dissent and be joined by the contingent of sane men who have actually read the Constitution but it won’t be enough….
So much of that argumentation was based on old things that were eliminated long before America was created. England had a civil war, executed their king and sent his supporters in exile. When the king’s son was brought back to power, many of his supporters were born in other countries. So they ditched the old birthright citizenship.
BTW, this happened while Virginia was making slavery legal. And, after supporting the king, it took a few years to surrender to parliament and they had to struggle against disadvantageous trade laws. But after the King was restored, they were rewarded for their support by having their trade powers granted to those foreign born sycophants.
The justices lack the courage to do the right thing. I suspect they may come up with some kind of middle of the road compromise.
I guess with a GOP controlled House and Senate the Congress could always legislate against birth right citizenship. Just joking. A GOP House and Senate won’t legislate anything that pro America.

My daughter was legally adopted with the help of the United States Air Force overseas (for free) with a second birth certificate registered in Iowa when we arrived stateside, and naturalized at 8 years of age. She is middle-aged now and raises cows. I am firmly against unfettered illegal immigration and so is my daughter. We are registered Republicans with common sense. Amy Coney Barrett has no excuse or Roberts either.

It makes no sense to me either. If the founders intended that anyone born in the U.S. is a U.S. citizen then the Birthright Citizen clause would be:
“ All persons born or naturalized in the United States are citizens of the United States of America wherein they reside”
But they added “and subject to the jurisdiction thereof “ in the clause.
That is a restriction to just being born here.
Anyway, they will probably use some legal justification to get around the true intent of the founders.
This was not in the original writing of the Founders.
The language you mentioned is from the 14th Amendment, which was passed after the Civil War, in order to give citizenship to the children of slaves, who had been born here, and were thus “subject to the jurisdiction” of the United States. They were permanently, legally “domiciled” in this country, which Alito mentioned yesterday as an obvious necessary condition of being granted citizenship.
Unfortunately, the ideologues on the court will ignore the clear language and intent of the original authors of the Amendment!
They think if I walk into Canada and steal a wallet, then get out pending trial and drop a baby, my child is a Canadian citizen.

I think the court goes with the legally domiciled wording, then adds that if someone has been in this country all their life, of two working “undocumented” immigrants, they are legal. The country’s lack of enforcement for years will have consequences. There is an implied acceptance.
Like “natural born” citizen is born of two parents who were both born in the United States.
That got perverted without any change to the U.S. Constitution. Then there is no possibility of any allegiance to any other country.
They would not have included “and subject to the jurisdiction thereof”. If it was a free for all.

Absolutely correct. The founders would never put into the protecting framework of America’s Constitution that it was possible for a baby to become an automatic citizen at birth without parents or parent being a citizen first as the most basic requirement.
They defined citizenship quite clearly and what it means and how to get it. Nowhere did it allow for babies born here of illegal parents to become automatic citizens. If this is true, why is there a specific law that children of diplomats born here are not granted automatic citizenship, in fact expressly stated in the law that they are not allowed to. Was this law not valid and now children born here of diplomats serving their own countries will be able to become citizens at birth? We know embassies are considered lands of the countries represented so those serving in them are considered to be in their native country. They are not American citizens and neither are their children who live with them. Is their child though a citizen of the USA when born in a hospital outside the embassy? Never has been allowed to my knowledge. Did something change?
There are all sorts of requirements written about length of time needed on American soil etc for citizenship. Why would the SC ignore all of that and say it’s ok for anchor babies and then eventually their families tagging along, to become legal citizens here even if that baby lived and grew up in his parents jurisdiction in another country?
None of this makes sense to keep the court from correcting this obvious misinterpretation of the Constitution and the 14th Amendment. There is no question this is a ridiculous interpretation and now dangerous to American security for our government being free from foreign control in the future. The President is trying to protect our Constitutional Republic and the courts are very close to stopping him. Shame on them.
If everyone had a right then there would be no borders or immigration laws.

Although President Trump is absolutely correct in his interpretation of the US Constitution, the likely outcome will be that the scotus will find against Trump’s interpretation, and that the Constitution does intend citizenship for those born of visitors to the USA while the forementioned mother of the child is in the USA.

In our neck of the woods, wo had on worship music, sitting by our lake watching the egrets, herons, pelicans and mallards come and go, giving the LORD our praises.
so if a state wants to implement voting process that are designed to cheat, do they have a “right” to do that at the state and local levels? Does the federal government have any roll in protecting the rights of legal voters against fraudulent voters?
Many of these states that are too far gone to save like CA, NY, IL, etc are not nearly as blue as the election results indicate. Most of that delta is open-air fraud. A simple example is in IL. There are counties that just 6 to 8 years ago were solid red, in the range of 58 to 42. By 2024 those same counties were and are 65/35 blue to red. No way that happens that quickly in such large population counts. It’s almost impossible statistically, yet it stands cycle after cycle. The people living in these places know voting is a huge scam.
Democrats know they are cheating big and republicans know the democrats are cheating too. If Blonde and Patel don’t do something big about this from a LE perspective, we are completely toast as a nation. This is the most important thing going, more important that Iran or Israel or Ukraine or the bleeping EU jag-offs.
BTW: I don’t trust that Blonde and Patel are doing anything except stroking Trump like a house cat burning time off the calendar. They will both get fired eventually when Trump can’t take any more of their useless crap. Sad thing is, he appointed them, we didn’t.

NYS has plenty of maga support outside the cities. Unfortunately, not enough to overcome the population of blue voters and cheating taking place in those cities.
The entire govt structure across the state from locals to state level is controlled by democrats and the unions. NYS is seriously in debt and the only thing keeping it afloat is federal dollars and robbing one department to pay for another and then moving money again to fund the fad of the moment. The green energy projects in NY are a disaster of taxes and expenses. More taxes are going to be placed on residents and hidden fees too which are actually taxes like the rising rates of electric energy to consumers. All okayed by the Governor and legislature via the PSC whose members are chosen by the Governor. The state gets a piece of that pie and residents are being blasted with huge and rapidly rising electric bills right now.
To get that state back in order would take a Herculean tax revolt from residents both left and right. MAGA and republican voters are trying in some places to right the ship, but it’s just not strong enough to make much headway at the moment and the Republican Party in NYS is almost non existent in many areas. Terrible Republican leadership.
Watch and see how Hochul once again will be reelected magically despite the horrid decisions made by her handlers that she then spouts out to the voters. She is a useful tool for all that comes out of NYC and Albany.

The Guardian is apparently reporting that President Trump is now considering firing Tulsi Gabbard in addition to AG Bondi. If true, that would be a huge mistake, IMO. Tulsi Gabbard seems to be the only cabinet member committed to exposing the criminal acts of the Obama and Obiden administrations. Tulsi Gabbard has dug up the evidence, according to herself, but Pam Bondi doesn’t seem to be acting upon it. Is Tulsi Gabbard 100% behind President Trump? Besides the economy and national security, the most important issue (IMO) is definitively exposing the fraudulent and stolen 2020 election, exposing the Fedsurrection and multi-faceted conspiracy, and exposing and prosecuting the criminal, seditious and perhaps treasonous acts of Obama and Company.
