The people elected Donald Trump AGAIN as President. The Senate majority of his OWN party does not support him.

Well, at the Future Investment Initiative event President Trump went to great lengths describing exactly how the heavily guarded military fortress of the Venezuelan dictator was no match for the American military, who breached the installation to extract him very quickly. The deeply entrenched Iranian mullahs fared even worse.

However, it’s our evolving society and culture that has allowed this to happen.
Identify Politics has divided us and allowed the craziness and anti-Americanism to grow and control how we have gotten to this point-Social Justice.
How do we have a movement like the LGBGT…get so much influence and control. It’s mostly just about who people decide to have sex with. Who cares. That’s a personal choice not a national priority, but the Community Organizers and activists have made it a big deal.
Large cites and blue states have decided to become Sanctuaries for certain segments of people in our country. They protect law breakers by not following laws and working together with law enforcement. The first priority of government is providing safety to its citizens, but in the name of Social Justice that’s not that important.
I hated seeing school kids going out of class to protest ICE. This just shows what our education system is doing to create more Community Organizers and Activists in the name of Social Justice. This weekend we more No Kings rallies all over the country. I don’t think they even know what they’re protesting.
We’ve allowed Free Speech and protesting to evolve into rioting, breaking laws assaulting law enforcement, blocking streets and highways and much more. Then when something bad happens the blame goes to the people trying to do their job protecting our laws.
There are so many other examples as to how we have allowed our country to devolve into what we have become-Very Sad!
And most people don’t even know what MAGA really stands for. Seems to me we need a National discussion on what kind of country do we want to be- I think most people would prefer a MAGA country if they knew what that would be.

Agree with what you wrote, but want to make a couple of other points.
Since at least the 1970s Americans as a group have worked hard and not received much in the way of reward. An example is the European cultural habit of taking “vacation” in July and August (same for elite New Yorkers ‘- and we’re the ones who paid for it). Or take for example all the money TPTB in this country have given to foreign countries and the kickbacks only they received and meanwhile our infrastructure is falling apart. Or take the insider trading of TPTB and wealth accumulation via Wall Street (and forgetting Main Street). The list goes on and on.
My point is that besides whatever else is going on, many people are exhausted. They worked hard and raised families and helped build communities in their “spare time” (although many people didn’t have much spare time).
And many “trusted” that people in government were also doing what they were hired for. Learning that activist zealots were infiltrating and taking over our institutions has come as a major shock.
So we’ve left with a lot of exhausted and befuddled people wondering what the heck happened.
One more thing: Those parents who raised children with the idea of “giving them everything” they themselves didn’t have are now paying the price along with the rest of us.
Things are bleak and absent President Trump’s decision to try and turn things around we’d already be in the crapper.
For whatever reason, people in the “80 percent” don’t seem to understand what we’ve lost and how difficult it is to “fix” what we have left.
Thank you for your additional observations. What you say is so true. When I was growing up, went to college and then worked and helped raise our kids I didn’t pay that much attention to politics or governance. Just too busy and so many other things on my mind.
I also was very naive about our government. I did think government was getting too large and over controlling, but I thought that most politicians were honest and wanted to solve problems with just a few bad apples. I did say I was naive. I actually supported the Iraq war because I trusted Bush and the intelligence was Slam Dunk. That was a big mistake!
Anyway, when Trump came on the scene it really uncovered how corrupt our politicians are and the various institutions. They showed who they really are and we tax payers had virtually no say-They do what they are going to do.
So I kinda experienced what you said. Just hope it’s not too late for our country.

Reason it got my attention was how some people on mostly on other sites would voice their opinion with basically no backup, yet felt that it should be treated as truth, not just an opinion.
Another reason what that some were citing sties that were actually misusing &/or misquoting another sites information, yet saying it came from the site being misused.
Yes, some of my comments are essentially my personal opinions based on life experiences, but often I will cite sites I’ve found from the internet. When I do cite other places, I often use what I call starter places to locate and/or where the information on the subject matter came from. Starter places for me are only places that can help in pointing me to places as to where information can be found and/or originated from.
Actually, The Last Refuge is one of my starter places since Sundance is good about his research, and citing his sources along with often stating which of his statements are his opinions. Grok, search assist & Wikipedia are a few other places I use only as a starting point as to where information can be found or source of comment, article or media airing.
Thus, reason for me showing the and feel the quote is something we need to all think about when posting, including me.

This has become very obvious to me.
While it destroys 100 million No Value Added (NVA) jobs, how many existing jobs will become higher value with the AI assist?
How many new opportunities and jobs in support of AI data centers and infrastructure will it create?
How much efficiency will it introduce that equals better consumer value down the line?
This is not to say im on the bandwagon, but al these “experts” warning of all sorts of apocalses, are always purely speculative and narrow focused.

Happened some time ago, and probably an Anduril-type kinetic drone that crashes into an aerial target carrying a small warhead, though the closing speed causes most of the damage. The loss of the aircrew is what hurts, though they probably would have been killed or seriously injured if a conventional SAM had been used.
As for the asymmetric aspect, warfare always has been: a cheap arrow could slay a knight that cost millions in modern terms (armour alone was in the hundreds of thousands), whilst cheap disposable AT projectors have destroyed hundreds of millions worth of armour, as have their marine equivalents (albeit more expensive, though so is the target they destroy), whilst inexpensive reactive blocks have defeated expensive ATGM’s and bundles of chaff costly SAMs. Drones, having rapidly matured and become more numerous are close to, if not at, the point where they are the latest part in this historical equation.
The problem with drones is that they are operating in a temporary sanctuary, as counter-systems and their concomitant tactics struggle to catch up, but gradually their inherent weaknesses will be exploited and another layer will simply be added to the battlefield. Then, just like their manned counterparts, drones will face anti-drone technology before they get to perform their mission, against targets with counter-drone SOP’s, and soon they too will be falling victim to the asymmetric equations generated by combat-driven solutions .
