This will not be popular on here but President Trump seems out of touch to how the average American is struggling financially.
Everything cost more,our salaries aren’t increasing.
Housing isnt better,groceries are higher,etc.etc
He has spent his time in office on world affairs which is his choice.He is afterall the President.
After midterms,he’s a lame duck with Dem controlled Congress.They will go after him nonstop.Nothing will get done.
Our Republican reps did nothing to help us when we had a chance.

Everything is high, and as a recent retiree who starting driving Uber couple months ago, going from 2.59 to 4.19 a gallon is deeply cutting into what I am making, Uber isn’t paying more, so I eat the much higher daily cost.

I remember gas prices well, for the most part they were around 3.50 a gallon around here.
There was that spike for a while, which sucked. That said, none of that has anything to do with it 4.19 right now.

Can’t speak for anyone else but my gas bill is down, my groceries for the most part are down, and this is at the end of a long, sometimes still holding on, bad winter. President Trump has his attention every where he, himself, might not be the one observing. From my point of view, he is constantly scanning for everything here and there. If it seems he’s only caring about outside of America, its because that’s what media, etc. want everyone to believe. Am very disappointed in the repubs. since they seem to want to cheat as much as any democrat. Still, President Trump is strong and sure.
Good for you. Here in NYS all prices are rising including food. Energy rates are just decimating people on fixed incomes and low incomes. The state is scrambling so hard to find money and they are now losing their go to solutions of ‘borrowing from Peter to pay Paul’ race they started years ago. Stay faraway from NYS if you’re thinking of moving here. It’s a mess and disintegrating fast.
If we could leave we would be gone tomorrow. There’s no staying and fighting this. The damage is done and coming back from it all will require years and that is provided the democrats, at all levels from local to state govts., are voted out. Then there is the very real lead anchor causing the whole state to tip left called NYC. A change in governors is not going to make a blip on this disaster of a state.
There’s nothing but rising prices and rising taxes over here in NYS.

She’s in a nursing home, wheelchair bound, late stage dementia. The home is small,which is good, the staff are fantastic. The move would do more harm to her than staying in New York would do to me. I will move closer to family when the time is right.

Other than eggs, which here in my neck of the woods have gone down but not “normalized,” grocery prices are as bad as ever AND of course, the amount of product has been reduced quite a bit.

I agree with you but prices are more likely regional. Where I live in central Maryland food prices are not down at all and gasoline is $4.00 per gallon, about the highest it’s ever been.

Americans are still struggling from Biden. Housing is getting better with every illegal deported. Salaries are increasing more than in decades in real money. Groceries are mixed, but the problem with beef started long before Trump as the herds were already at 1960’s levels before he was sworn in. Drought in the west, Biden’s limiting federal grazing lands, Biden’s war on farmers and Biden’s threat of a cow fart tax (methane emissions from cows) caused ranchers to significantly reduce their cattle herds. Then there was a drought in the South American beef producing regions. Trump has been importing more beef to keep the price down, but that alone won’t do it, the ranchers have been given help and incentives to bring the herds up, but that will take years.
So if you don’t think the Trump is fixing Biden’s screw ups fast enough. what are the Democrats plan to make things more affordable? Well we got a preview in NY City and Virginia. Raise taxes on the middle class. Charge more for buses and subways. Baker revealed that he was offered a chance to become an SGE to join Tulsi Gabbard’s director’s initiative to look into J6… the NY Times and others are accusing Joe Kent of leaking to Steve Baker. Baker refutes that allegation with specific, credible information.
Steve Baker had a major heart attack in December right after publishing information that implicated a former Capitol Police officer, now CIA employee who is female. The story got a “quasi” retraction by the Blaze but Steve is intending to move forward (as is Kyle Seraphin) in exposing the bad juju and misconduct of the IC.
