Bloomberg: USS Gerald R. Ford faces more problems beyond fire in laundry area

i wonder what happens when americans find out it wasn’t a laundry fire.
But of course, the Iranian, super-secret, time travelling, hyper-super-super sonic stealth missiles hit the carrier and everybody is keeping quiet about it. Rather like those ‘fake’ moon landings eh?
The article is garbage clickbait, which suggests the damage from the fire was far more serious, but then after several paragraphs says that it possibly will be out of action for a year because it’s coming off an extended combat deployment and needs a major overhaul.
Don’t worry the Navy will have a plausible explanation. Don’t forget the USS Iowa turret explosion. It wasn’t WW2 era powder bags it was a gay guy!
The USS Iowa explosion in 1989 was initially attributed to gunner’s mate Clayton Hartwig, who died in the incident, with speculation about a possible romantic relationship with another sailor, Kendall Truitt.
Well some of the truth eventually comes out but the denials never stop.
Investigations later concluded that the cause of the explosion could not be definitively determined, and the Navy expressed regret over the initial findings.
Let me know when someone is arrested. Otherwise it’s all just theatre.

Iran’s Attacks Force U.S. Troops to Work Remotely
Iran has severely damaged several American military bases in the Middle East, officials say.

What to know about damage to U.S. military bases in Middle East?

US and allied radar sites in the Middle East struck at least 10 times: Visual analysisABC News analyzed satellite imagery and videos of the radar sites.

Just a minor detail … to take down an early warning network one has to hit the actual control centers and all the other elements of the network .. not just the antennas.
Granted the antennas and are expensive but if properly structured and operated the network will continue to operate. Notice the “reports” lump the $800 Million against “bases hit”.
Plus, the network is more than the fixed ground based censors.
They are escalating.
It’s going to get more violent isn’t it?
It also means they know we outnumber them.
numbers count for nothing if only one side acknowledges it is at war with the other.

An Israeli official was asked at a press conference yesterday, “How come Israel has nuclear bombs and no one else in the region is allowed to have them?” The official abruptly left the podium.

Take it from the source, Mediaite, lol.
is your comment suggesting that this moment did not occur, or ?
Exactly
So why hasn’t Israel deployed their nuclear weapons in pursuit of the greater Israel project? Asking for a moron, I mean friend.
Who knows what the greater Israel concept is or if it really exists within actual policies of the Government. There surely are “groups” within Israel with these aspirations.
From all the stuff I have followed, starting in 1973 … in nut shell the IDF weapons were always seen as “retaliatory-last resort” weapons … as in if Israel is on the verge of total collapse as a result of invasion or attacked first by a WMD.
Plus, nobody knows the status of any threats or agreements made (with Islamic States) that would have the Russians (USSR) striking if Israel deploys a device. The Russians (USSR) have been very close allies, trade partners and suppliers of Israel’s enemies in the Middle East since at least 1950.
Israel was rumored to have a handful of F-4 Phantoms sitting ready at a base in the Negev when the 1973 War Started and all looked very bad during the initial weeks of the war, especially on the Golan Heights (the Syrians+Jordanians+Allies came a hairs breath and 1-bad operational decision away from collapsing the IDF defenses on the Golan).
Today:
They have missile technology to deploy effective IRBM’s that can hit the right targets.
They certainly have technology to deploy air to surface devices for deployment by their F-35’s and F-15E’s.
“How come Israel has nuclear bombs and no one else in the region is allowed to have them?”
Ummmm … Perhaps because Israel is governed by rational humans and not batsh1t-crazy p1sslamic religious extremists?
Perhaps?
