Israel Update:
~We are devastated: This is one of the worst days, two half tone Iranian missiles made it through and hit populated areas.  The first one was in Dimona, a city in the south.  It’s the city of our nuclear site by the way.  59 people got injured.  There is a 12 years old boy in bad condition and one young lady in moderate condition and the others are moderate-light and light conditions. 

Then there was a hit in another south city, Arad city.  88 injured. 10 in bad condition, 19 moderate, the others are light.  Bad  condition may die or have a disability after treatment, require surgery usually, some can recover, bad condition indicate “a threat to life now”. There were children between the badly injured.  
The only reason that there is no one dead is that the hit missed the building in a few feet.  But there are some 20 buildings damaged. It was a massive exposition. It was a very crowded block of ultra religious people with many children and large families.  

May God heal the wounded fast and help their friends and families. 

~Today lead people in the IRGC are bragging how they “cracked the israeli defenses and from now on they control our space”.  One was the Head of Space and Air Force. The other a lead Parliament offical, the  Chairman. 

I can tell you that their days are numbered.  Then I see national TV of the regime is calling to make or purchase nuclear weapons as soon as possible. If you haven’t noticed we are dealing with Nazis.  People who dedicate themselves to annihilate another people.  I do not know any other nation who is dedicated to the annihilation of another people as a whole. 

~Iran fired two ballistic missiles to Diego Garcia Base of the US. It missed.  Those are missiles that can go 4000 km (2,485 miles).  This is the first time we discovered they have this capability.  Their Sec of Foreign Affairs was on US media not so long ago saying that “Iran limited itself to 2,000 km only, because it has no hostility to the US or Europe”.  

Those missile can reach all of Europe, Paris, London, etc…
Israel warned them for a long time that Iran wants to be able to target them. Europe ignored.  Israeli Chief of Staff just indicated it to them again.  

~Trump gave Iran 48 hours to open the Strait of Hormuz or the US will target their power, starting from the largest one.  Their response is that if he does so they will target US power across the Middle East.  
Just to clarify, the US relies on local power grids. You can tell what is coming.  But I give it my little twist and suspect that Qatar’s power grid will be targeted.  I already mentioned that “Qatar is getting punished”. 
This is my belief, not a news report.  

~Note:  If you followed me for a long time you understand Jihadi mindset.  Unfortunately Trump is learning it the hard way. I don’t blame him, he is a Westerner. He has been dealing with them like normal Western people.  Trying to cut deals, trying to show them that there are actions and reactions, cause and effect, “you do this then we will make you suffer that”.  The usual “rewards and penalties”. 

But they don’t care.  Many of them are willing to die.  They lie to others and to themselves.  Right now they managed to hit Israelis and they are emboldened and bragging.  They feel winning because we had civilian casualties.  

Talking with them about money and deals when for decades their own people are suffering economic hardship while they spend the money of the nation on high salaries to terror organizations and building bigger and bigger weapons and munitions.  Like Hamas who had billions, whined about hardship in Gaza while spending billions on tunnels.  

I can tell that Trump is now getting it. He seems more and more frustrated with their inhumanity and lack of reason.  And while I told you that Iranians are smart, Jihadists are very stupid.  Hate makes people stupid. This is one of the reasons why we win against Arabs, dealing with hateful people is hard but they make stupid mistakes.  End of rant.  Not a criticism on Trump. At list he is getting it now. Democrats would never understand. 

~I told you yesterday that I know my people, what we think, intend and may or may not do.  I said that the attack on the gas was not done without coordination.  But now after what they did to us today there may be a real conflict because we want a proper retaliation, we want deterrence. They need to see and feel consequences.  And the US may or may not approve. The US is trying to contain retaliations against oil sites. I think that symbols of the regime should go down. The Parliament, the Supreme Court of the IRGC< etc… I would rather it be their gas sites but we may have to compromise and do something that Trump agrees.  I hope and think that Bibi is able to get coordination with Trump. 

But I have a feeling that a bigger thing is ot the horizon and we may take our time, for example the takeover of the Iranian oil that Trump is thinking about.  Or we may join an attack on their power grid.  I will bet with you that we are in thier computers that operate the power grid and many other computers.  

I hope I was not too emotional. I had to calm down some of my family, people are really upset.  

Let’s hope and pray for better days and healing.  

May God protect Israel and the USA, the soldiers and civilians.  
May God free Iran now.

During this winter we have had marginal La Nina conditions. That is about to change. Though NOAA says El Nino conditions would appear sometime between June and August, Joe Bastardi says it is coming on much earlier and stronger than that (see his Saturday Summary).

A switch to El Nino conditions during the Spring generally means cooler and wetter conditions for the US during April and May.
If the El Nino strengthens, as it is forecasted to do, we may well see Super El Nino conditions during the Summer. That does not necessarily mean hotter days for most of us, but it does mean warmer than normal nights. It would also mean a neutered Hurricane Season.

The Storm Prediction Center has not changed it’s convective outlook for today. Still a slight chance of severe weather over the entire Ohio River valley up into most of PA.

COMMENTARY FOR JAMES 1:19

This epistle of James is one of the most instructive writings in the New Testament. Being chiefly directed against particular errors at that time brought in among the Jewish Christians, it does not contain the same full doctrinal statements as the other epistles, but it presents an admirable summary of the practical duties of all believers. The leading truths of Christianity are set forth throughout; and on attentive consideration, it will be found entirely to agree with St. Paul’s statements concerning grace and justification, while it abounds with earnest exhortations to the patience of hope and obedience of faith and love, interspersed with warnings, reproofs, and encouragements, according to the characters addressed. The truths laid down are very serious, and necessary to be maintained; and the rules for practice ought to be observed in all times. In Christ there are no dead and sapless branches, faith is not an idle grace; wherever it is, it brings forth fruit in works.How to apply to God under troubles, and how to behave in prosperous and in adverse circumstances. (1-11) To look upon all evil as proceeding from ourselves, and all good from God. (12-18) The duty of watching against a rash temper, and of receiving the word of God with meekness. (19-21) And of living according thereto. (22-25) The difference between vain pretences and real religion. (26,27)

19-21 Instead of blaming God under our trials, let us open our ears and hearts to learn what he teaches by them. And if men would govern their tongues, they must govern their passions. The worst thing we can bring to any dispute, is anger. Here is an exhortation to lay apart, and to cast off as a filthy garment, all sinful practices. This must reach to sins of thought and affection, as well as of speech and practice; to every thing corrupt and sinful. We must yield ourselves to the word of God, with humble and teachable minds. Being willing to hear of our faults, taking it not only patiently, but thankfully. It is the design of the word of God to make us wise to salvation; and those who propose any mean or low ends in attending upon it, dishonour the gospel, and disappoint their own souls.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Blessed morning, Treepers. When I meditate and pray, I follow a simple pattern – I journal. I thank God for Who He Is and I ask Him to reveal Himself to me through His Word. Randomly (though it is never “random”)… I open God’s Word to where He Wants me to be, so I can learn from Him.

Today, I opened to Job 31. I read it. I made notes. I prayed. Then, I closed my Bible and opened it again randomly – again – God landed me at Job 31. That’s a lot of very thin pages, thousands of them, to land on the very same one. I believe there are no coincidences. One does not walk in The Faith as I have and not believe fully in God’s Divine Providence and Perfect Timing.

Grant me the space to share such with you, for I am compelled to do so. My prayer is for such message to land within your hearts and plant seeds of fruitfulness and may God bless you all the days of your lives.

Please note: my NIV Bible is over 35 years old. It is weathered and worn, the pages dog-eared. I went to BibleGateway.com to note these words herein and noticed that there were deviations – mostly pronoun-wise- and I dutifully updated the words BACK to the original script within my written Bible.
