Registered Mail, for the small price of a return receipt, is recognized in court as legal notification… and from my experience that is one of its highest qualities.
I watched a sitting judge in Family Court read the cover page of the legal notice pages I wrote & sent – to him personally in his capacity as an agent of the state -and literally drop that document like the pages were on fire.
He asked – snapped at – our lawyer “Did you send this?” “No sir, I’ve been on vacation.” was our court-appointed ‘defender’s’ answer…
‘NOPE Denied. That lady gets what she wants now Done . Next…’
Apoplexy ensued from the opposition which… after the fact… was fun, in hindsight, to remember watching;
extremely unpleasantly intense in the moment to experience.
Long story short (of winning a court order to prohibit vaccination of my friend’s professionally-kidnapped child in CPS/state custody; extraordinary because that just never happens to them in that venue).
Sending that document without the USPS registration would have had zero effect on the decision; just ink squiggles on pieces of paper.
The US Postal Service made that court-order-win happen for me/my friend’s child, without (the indifferent/incompetent) lawyer or independent process server OR expensive expert witness like Aaron Siri AND without discussion, questions (well just the one) or hesitation on the part of the determining agent of the state aka Family Court. I often hear people talk of why life is so painfull sometimes or why God would allow bad things to happen? Why there is suffering, disease and evil? The only thing I say to them is without adversity we would not grow stronger.
Many of us feel the way you do, we each deal with it the best we can with what we have to work with. I myself am going through a very ruff time in my life, my faith is waining but not gone. It is mainly because of the people here that I have come to know and love that I am able to get back up and keep going.

In today’s Coffee & Covid newsletter, the underlying statute being used to ferret out fraud allows individual citizens – essentially as whistleblowers – to bring fraud charges against a defrauding entity. Its like a ‘private attorneys general’ statute – but, this allows the whistleblowing citizen to 15-30% of any recovery:

I therefore do not care in the slightest about anything that this creature (or his surviving cohort …) “said, wrote, or logged.” The truth is not in them. Anywhere.
Therefore, I think that we have wasted years of time, and apparently “millions of” pages. If any of this stuff was presented to a Jury of which I was a member, I would be “the b&stard who hung it.”
