Parallel to the Senate considering the Save America Act, the confirmation of Senator Markwayne Mullen as Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, to replace Kristy Noem, will take place.
It is interesting to contemplate the ramifications of the placement of Markwayne Mullen. For example, Homeland Security is in charge of determining citizenship and enforcing immigration laws. Citizenship is already required to vote in our country. By extension, Markwayne Mullen will theoretically be able to determine who can vote and who cannot vote in our elections.
I think the above would be true, if Markwayne Mullen had the budget to do that, and was given the mission to do that by executive order. Could this be Plan B? Certainly Homeland Security is another federal department, besides Justice, with the power and authority to arrest people. That is also significant.
What John Thune does next week, regarding debating and voting in the Senate on the Save America Act, will be the acme of his career, I’m sure. He is starting to feel the heat.

That is a GREAT book…read it years ago. DR Humphries has written several books about immunology, Vitamin C and vaccines. She is an absolute wealth of information.
Yep and scarlet fever which is strep with a rash. We got them all. Our immunity to them was set. I don’t know anyone who had those diseases who didn’t recover fully. One childhood friend got polio and was crippled by it. Another died of encephalitis caused by an apparent mosquito bite after a trip to the southern states. Other than those two instances, the vast majority of kids we all went to school with or in our neighborhoods recovered well from those childhood diseases without vaccinations in the mix. We did get smallpox vax though and dpt.
I got them all including Scarlet Fever. I missed 3 weeks of school in first grade because I had an allergic reaction to Penicillin used to kill the strep Bacteria that caused the Scarlet Fever. In second, third, fourth grade I never missed one day. I don’t remember ever having “the flu” until college.
As a Special Education teacher for over 30 years, I had students who became disabled because of these childhood diseases. Rubella caused their blindness. Mumps caused them to become deaf. These were extremely sad situations. I believe in childhood vaccines but I want them administered gradually, not 3-4 shots at one time.
Do these blind and deaf children have concomitant autism?
No. They were taught the school subjects using Braille or Sign Language.
My overall experience as a Special Education teacher is that Autism is extremely rare. I became a teacher in 1975, now retired. The Autism definition has changed dramatically over the years.
The vaccines have been around for over 50 years and short of religious exemption, mandatory for school age children and usually given quite early.
So of the few that had negative effects from the disease, did they have the vaccines? If so, they obviously didn’t help. I’ve shared it before here – there is a set of graphs that show the decrease in various diseases and the introduction of associated vaccines. In most every case the disease was almost eliminated in the western world when the vaccines were introduced due to better nutrition and medical care. Of course, we all know that people get sick in spite of vaccines as well.
Believe in pharmaceutical companies all you want – but please don’t ever try to force your beliefs in them on others. They do more harm than good.

I was at dinner last night and a grandparent to be was telling me how the expectant mother was requiring vaccinations for the grandparents in order to see the new baby.
This absurd fear of life unless vaccinated is so ingrained in the younger generation.
I don’t know what the answer is.

MIL had to choose between vax or seeing grandkid.

There’s a guy at our church that since 2020 (virus timeframe) has come to church wearing a mask and gloves. Early on, my husband saw him at Walmart and he was dressed up in what looked like a bioharzard suit. Now, he’s super afraid of getting sick and each Sunday, wears a mask tightly across his face and he and his wife try not to sit too close to anyone. The fear this man must feel, and why?
A couple weeks back I told he and his wife I was recovering from some sort of bug – stomach issues and whatnot. Both of them immediately asked, “did you get the flu vaccine?” I said, “no, I just let it run its course and try and go the natural route.” Both of them stayed silent.
He may have impaired immunity due to another condition?
I would recommend that the grandparents go get a simple blood test that will show if they have antibodies. My ARNP ran those tests for me, even though my DIL was not concerned. My antibodies to Pertussis (whopping cough) and Varicella (Chicken Pox) were both high, showing that I am not at risk of contracting or transmitting either to my grandchildren.
Perhaps that would be enough to assuage the fears of the parents to be? (Probably not, if their are vax obsessed and driven by irrational fear, but maybe it might be an option if they are at all reasonable.)
Clearly, common sense and reasoning has nothing to do with such irrational behaviors. In my day we simply shielded newborns from crowds for the first couple of months. Nobody -including the newborns- took any injections.
And guess what? The world did not end.
Oh, I agree but I was trying to offer a possible alternative for grandparents who want to see their grandchildren but who have a adult child that has bought into the “narrative” and they are trying to avoid a fight!
I agree your advice would seem to be a logical workaround, and I wish these grandparents all the
luck. I just have enough experience to predict that logic is not at all involved in their children’s thinking process. The same people who advocated for poison death shots in 2021 remain unmoved by logic and reason to this day.
Sadly, you are probably correct but if the advice works for a small number of people, it’s at least worth offering.
I have an adult child who cut off all contact with us in 2022, because we would not take the shot. I had a letter from my doctor advising against it due to an autoimmune condition and I had blood work showing a high level of antibodies, as I had already had the actual virus. None of it mattered to his OCD fear-driven wife…
Although I think my son would make a wonderful father, they have announced they will not be having children and I have to admit to a sense of relief, because I think she would be an awful mother!

I have found that the general public is not educated enough when it comes to understanding the science behind disease and biology.
If we understood virus propagation, we wouldn’t have accepted paper masks stop viruses, or you can catch the virus at the beach or hiking or being outdoors. We would understand that having antibodies meant you already caught the disease and fought it off, and aren’t communicative, and wouldn’t need some made up “vaccine” with 30% efficiency. We would have also looked at the raw data that showed children were not carriers and didn’t need to stay home from school, and the actual people at risk were elderly 70 years and older in care facilities, and we wouldn’t have tried to cram more people indoors.
But here we are.
I’d say zoom calls are fine until the kid is old enough to make their own decisions about seeing grandparents. No person should have to play Russian roulette just to see a family member.

He tried to support all possible treatments for Covid at the time and he had to go on what the so called health experts were telling him. How else could he deal with that crisis? He made the best choices he could given what those around him were telling him.
He was responsible for the health of millions of people and he did what he thought was best by trying to highlight different treatments. He never mandated the vaccines or anything else, just told people this is what’s out there, choose what you think is best for you but do your homework. I wouldn’t have wanted to be in his shoes with that responsibility.
I agree with you 100pc. However, he is still claiming the “vaccines” saved countless lives but ignoring the fact that they killed hundreds of thousands. Personally, I doubt they saved anyone.

The frequency of the shots counts too. My local compounding pharmacy is, to this day, encouraging people to get a Covid shot.
Recently got a one time prescription. Nothing was said by the people in the pharmacy (my guess is they’ve gotten many earfuls) – but at the bottom of the paperwork they staple to the outside of the bag was the following:

RSV”
Next to it is a QR code with a little heart in the center to “schedule you appointment.”
Needless to say I did no such thing and simply laughed. This is the same place the carnival barkers was standing outside that made the grievous error in judgement.

I would have thought that between John Rich’s conversation with him about why his followers boo at the mention of the vax — because they all know people who have been injured or died from it, and all the evidence of side effects that RFK Jr has presented, that he would wake up and smell the coffee.

One thing you can say about the GOP and the deep-state is they were fully ready for Trump this time, unlike 2016 when they had to scramble to stop him with felony after felony (still unpunished BTW). We’re almost 15 months into his second term and between the GOP and the federal courts, they are doing a great job of totally blunting Trump’s domestic agenda. They love his Executive Orders. They make people feel good while doing nothing to really fix anything in a sustainable way. Legislation (laws) are the only way to do that. EO’s get reversed day 1 of the next administration.
Those that paid attention in Trump’s first term knew beforehand it would be this way. Trump had to know this coming in as well. He’s starting to play a little more rough with the GOP and I hope this continues. You don’t play footsie with rodents. You squash them. My main issue is that legislation is the only sustainable solution to fixing our nation’s problems. The next President can do one big EO in January 2029 and undo every single thing Trump did on his own. Many of these federal court rulings are not completely off-base. No president can write laws. Congress passes laws and presidents sign them into being. The GOP needs to stop being the opposition party to Trump’s agenda and start passing laws that Trump can sign.

The other main issue which I cannot believe continues today, is the rogue judiciary being allowed to dictate policy and laws to the executive branch. Totally out of their lane but they keep doing it because they are not stopped or ignored or put back in their lane. Why this is still a problem I’m not sure.
The third strike as we all know, that is harming PDJT’s progress, is the Republican Party stoked by the GOPe who refuse to back the legislation needed to make the policies firmly rooted law. Even the SC has been party to this road blocking of what should be easy to discern, rational decisions that are constitutionally valid.
So how does anything get done if the midterms are lost to the left? It doesn’t. In the meantime, Roman Catholic churches continue to cease functioning, because there aren’t sufficient parishioners to keep the church going. If one goes on eBay, one may find magnificent stained-glass windows and hundred-year-old oak pews for sale. Like many exiled Iranian Kurds, Shaho Bloori, 53, hears the call of home from both the living and the dead.
Two of his sisters remain in Iran, and 18 of his relatives lie buried there, killed by the regime. That includes one of his brothers, who he tells us is “forever young” – a protest singer, executed at the age of 21.
It wasn’t enough for Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps to hang him, he says, and riddle his body with bullets, they heaped more suffering on his mother, after his death.
“When she went to wash his body [for burial], there were 16 bullet holes,” he says. “They told her: ‘You must not cry. If you do, we will not let you clean him and bury him.'”
He wants justice not revenge if the regime falls. There is no sign of that yet.
“We must stop the hanging,” he says. “Even if someone is guilty of hanging my brother, I don’t want them to be executed. We need freedom, not another regime like the Islamic regime.”

Again: You don’t intercept the missiles in the air. You identify and destroy the launchers, and nearby warehouses where more munitions are likely to be stored. You hit trucks on the road. In short, you attack the enemy’s fundamental capacity to attack.
