July 20, 2025, I stood on my front porch and snapped a photo of a faint rainbow that stretched from one side of my property to the other, low to the ground. It was almost as if it touched the road in front of my house on the north side and stretched to the southern boundary. I stood in awe and watched as it very, very slowly faded out of sight. There is nothing about a beautiful rainbow that is even remotely reminiscent of a mentally disturbed individual, and not once as I stood there did I think of any of my extended family or friends that I know to be gay. God is good.
When I was dating the man who became my second husband I was coming to decision time.
He is considerably younger, never married, no kids. I had two. Well, this is crazy, but I asked for some sign or something to help me. We were driving over the old Dog River draw bridge and I looked to my right, up the river.
There was a double rainbow.
That was over 40 years ago.

Iranians (Persians) and Jews have a long history that includes periods of cooperation and friendship.
In 539 BC, Cyrus the Great of Persia conquered Babylon. Many Jews were living there after the Babylonian exile and the destruction of the First Temple in Jerusalem.
Cyrus issued a decree allowing the Jews to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the Temple. This is described in the Book of Ezra, and he is also mentioned in the Book of Isaiah. Jews viewed him as a liberator. The Bible even refers to him as “God’s anointed,” which is very rare for a non-Jewish ruler.

Thousands of Israeli technicians and engineers worked in Iran from the 1960s until the revolution in 1979.

There is deep respect and sympathy among many Israelis toward the Iranian people. The current conflict is often seen by many as a conflict with the regime, not with the Iranian people. What is happening id deeper than what it appears to be.

A temper suitable to the Christian character as born again, is recommended. (1-10) Holy conversation among the Gentiles directed. (11,12) Subjects exhorted to pay all proper obedience to their civil governors. (13-17) Also servants to their masters, and all to be patient, according to the example of the suffering Saviour. (18-25)
18-25 Servants in those days generally were slaves, and had heathen masters, who often used them cruelly; yet the apostle directs them to be subject to the masters placed over them by Providence, with a fear to dishonour or offend God. And not only to those pleased with reasonable service, but to the severe, and those angry without cause. The sinful misconduct of one relation, does not justify sinful behaviour in the other; the servant is bound to do his duty, though the master may be sinfully froward and perverse. But masters should be meek and gentle to their servants and inferiors. What glory or distinction could it be, for professed Christians to be patient when corrected for their faults? But if when they behaved well they were ill treated by proud and passionate heathen masters, yet bore it without peevish complaints, or purposes of revenge, and persevered in their duty, this would be acceptable to God as a distinguishing effect of his grace, and would be rewarded by him. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Good morning on this glorious day, to all you Treepers!
Im still trying to process what I was just told by my health care team.
As many of you know, I was stricken with cancer yet again, for the 2nd time in 5 years, last year…. 5 years ago, they told me I was not going to make it. But I did, somehow….Only God could have pulled that one off back in 20/21. There was no medical explanation for surviving Stage 4 Squamous Cell throat cancer. My Oncologists told me I was one of his very few miracle patients. My Nurses swore it was my attitude that got me through that, with a healthy helping of faith in our Lord….I never let it get me down, and left it all in God’s hands and prayed like Ive never prayed….And here I am, right? It was not my time….God didnt want me yet! I guess? LOL!
Fast forward to last year….well, I was diagnosed with lung cancer….The prognosis was that I was not going to survive this time. Ive been through hell and back this last 7 months. 35 more chemo and radiation treatments. A few experimental drugs as well…there were times I was so ill, I wanted God to take me. Going through this twice in such a short time takes a chunk out of you. I just resigned myself to be in God’s hands, and hoped for the best this time. While keeping an even keel, and preparing myself and my family for my eventual passing….which in itself is a very, very tough thing to do.
Well. Here is the shocker, yet again! ….they did a post treatment checkup last Monday…., to see if they zapped it all. Also to see where we were in terms of lifespan. They did a PET scan, and to their total and utter surprise……….I am Cancer free! Again!
This outcome was not expected. In fact now they want to use my blood and do workups on me, for studys, because my team says this should not have happened, again. But it did! Unbelieveable……My docs are saying that there is something about my body that just doesnt quit….they are truly, truly shocked, and very happy too!
Let me tell you, I cannot wipe the smile off of my face right now, and it has been a long time since I smiled and truly felt it.
In the end I only can say this: God is good! Never give up! Fight, fight, fight!
Praise God in the highest!
Now im going to go and celebrate this gift with my children….what a day, Ill tell ya’s!
