If human love does not carry a man beyond himself, it is not love. If love is always discreet, always wise, always sensible and calculating, never carried beyond itself, it is not love at all. It may be affection, it may be warmth of feeling, but it has not the true nature of love in it.
Have I ever been carried away to do something for God not because it was my duty, nor because it was useful, nor because there was anything in it at all beyond the fact that I love Him? Have I ever realized that I can bring to God things which are of value to Him, or am I mooning round the magnitude of His Redemption whilst there are any number of things I might be doing? Not Divine, colossal things which could be recorded as marvellous, but ordinary, simple human things which will give evidence to God that I am abandoned to Him? Have I ever produced in the heart of the Lord Jesus what Mary of Bethany produced?
There are times when it seems as if God watches to see if we will give Him the abandoned tokens of how genuinely we do love Him. Abandon to God is of more value than personal holiness. Personal holiness focuses the eye on our own whiteness; we are greatly concerned about the way we walk and talk and look, fearful lest we offend Him. Perfect love casts out all that when once we are abandoned to God. We have to get rid of this notion – “Am I of any use?” and make up our minds that we are not, and we may be near the truth. It is never a question of being of use, but of being of value to God Himself. When we are abandoned to God, He works through us all the time.”

The best way through this is to define viewpoints, not people, because people will shift as they change position and velocity in Trump gravity.
Bash the neocon, warmonger, and dopey globalist positions – not the people who are going to hold them one moment and come loose from them later.
Trump is Jupiter moving through the asteroid belt. He is going to pull people into his orbit.
A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.
I am ON the Trump Train for good, even if I scream that I want off and can’t take it. In the end, I only want to scream “TOO MUCH WINNING!!!”

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This term, he is weeding them out faster. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 32 of the 2nd year of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

There is no advance announcement of what opinions will be released. The tariff case (Learning Resources) is a strong possibility.
Also ripe for decision is Slaughter (whether the president can fire a board member of an “independent agency.”). The Court could overturn a New Deal precedent (Humphrey’s Executor) if it ruled in Trump’s favor. Lisa Cook’s case was just argued, but Slaughter would likely decide hers, too. (She’s the Fed Board member who lied on her mortgage application and refused to leave when Trump fired her.)
The other case that could come up is Calais, out of Louisiana, which challenged the interpretation of the 1965 Voting Right Act to require minority-majority districts. The argument was the drafting a congressional district that had a majority of voters who were a minority in the state was a violation of the Equal Protection Clause by discriminating in favor of one race.

I watched the game and the medal ceremony and saw everyone singing the Anthem. (I sang along with them !!) Nice to see American athlete both happy to represent the country, WIN, and show that they are PROUD to win for their country and for themselves !!
Too many woke athletes at the Olympics, like democRATS, who show NO national pride while wearing the FLAG and supposedly representing our great nation…
I am also rooting for the men’s hockey team to win later today, and for them to go on to beat Canada like the women’s team did to win the GOLD !!

Happy young woman. Read her bio sometime. It’s quite interesting. Her father is a Chinese dissident who came to the USA to escape. I’m quite sure they are left of center and they are in CA. She handled herself well though and didn’t say anything political or against America. Just the opposite of Eileen Gu who the Chinese bought out to get her to represent China and not America even though she was born and raised here. CA girl too.
Alysa’s language usage wasn’t the best though.
She made it look so easy but it took training and practice starting at 5am, and evenings after school, 6 days a week for at least 10 years. Hats off to her parents for all their support, too!
As for her language I chalked it up to her joyful emotions getting the better of her.

To effect the most harsh or Benevolent sentence possible – depending on one’s personal intention… requires precise discernment.
Admittedly tricky to discern who, exactly, is who.
Some people Love Earthly Human life; others just endure it (via far too much pain).

Apparently God is merciful and turns us back to dust only. Dust knows nothing.
Christ’s suffering is then pointless. Our sufferings too. Life then pointless.
Judas despaired and hung himself. By his actions he said God could not save him. Too proud to beg for mercy. Assuming all enter into bliss is presumption of His Mercy -that ignores His Justice.
A life sentence could serve as a penance and an opportunity to repent. A death sentence is an opportunity to concentrate the mind- to contemplate one’s mortality. Like Lent, both chance to seek forgiveness and grow closer to God.

Personal sufferings could include all kinds of things- disappointments, betrayal, pains, hunger, thirst. Unless you have been burned by a hot stove it is impossible to understand the warning to be careful or you will get burned by a hot stove.
To posses sympathy it must be relatable. Thus the thorn/ rose paradox. When we sin we offend God. In order to understand that pain we have caused him, he allows for suffering. In that sense we unite ours with Christ’s.
