Good morning Betsy, Some beautiful Borzoi. They were known as Russian Wolfhounds prior to 1936. They are sight hounds and depend on their extreme speed, agility and courage when pursuing their prey. They are known to be quite intelligent. They have a quiet and gentle nature. I have read they make excellent companions.
I read where the Russian aristocracy bred them for hundreds of years and they’ve not changed much from their ancestors. They do look quite aristocratic though don’t they?
They really are very unique in appearance.
It is currently quiet. The cats have eaten and are napping. Beau is outside chasing squirrels away from the bird seed. Blue has been fed and I will go out shortly and open the coop for my few chickens and rooster. It looks like it will be a beautiful day here.

A big part of her performance was the extraordinary quality of the videography. This video is simply a-r-t pure and simple. It’s been a decade now (that’s where 10 million views come from) and in all honesty her playing of this wonderful music is as fresh and engaging now as it was a full decade ago. In the ‘Tube mix is a quite good evaluation of her playing that well worth watching. I’ll include it here . . .

Iran Update:
This is not about Israel, it’s about Iran. I reported it earlier at a time that most of you missed it.
The situation between the US and Iran is very very hot. The amounts of assets that the US mobilized was not seen in a very long time. I keep telling you about it but today I have the specifics in a very short video:

I don’t know if it was reported in you media but while Trump is offering a diplomatic saving rope for the Iranians to get reasonable the Supreme Leader of Iran has now twice in a few days threatened to sink US ships. Psychotics, when they come to the end of their reign tend to get suicidal and take everyone downs with them.
Khamenei has lost grip on reality a while ago. He was deluded about the 12 days war, his explanations about the protests in Iran were deluded and his ideas of messing with the US are deluded too.
Now, I had to calm people down before the American strikes on the Iranian nuclear sites and I have to calm people down again. I heard the talks about Third World War etc… and it was simply dishonest.
Again, I will repeat: Russia is in the mud in Europe in a war that they can’t or won’t end.
The last thing that they need is a collision with the US. China has not gone to war since their Vietnam War 47 years ago. It’s not in the DNA of their leadership and they don’t have any serious force in the area.
Israel had Iran on their knees in the first day of the 12 Days War. Neutralized all their Air defenses in the first few hours, also in the first few hours with the use of deception 20 senior high ranking military people were eliminated and 9 of the top nuclear scientists. Israel after the 12 days War left them with only about 60 launchers for Ballistic Missiles. Those can be targeted. Iran can make a first strike but after it, if they manage to do it, they will lose most of the launchers and the number of missies that they have will be meaningless.
And here is a little secret. I heard an interview with a top Israeli scientist who is related to the electronic war. He said that the Iranian drones were hit with a cyber attack and were mostly neutralized. He also said that this is only the small part of what was done and the majority is confidential.
And the US is a whole different order of magnitude, whatever Israel did from a distance of over 1000 miles away, the US can do 50 times more with all the assets that are in the vicinity of the targets.
What will happen IF it will is one of two options:
A few weeks operation of the US and likely Israel too. The Iranian military will be neutralized in a few hours. They can’t defend anything. I actually feel sorry for their sailors if it comes to it. Then the Mossad will come up with plans of having Iranians armed or Special Forces taking over the centers of Government. This will take a few weeks.
The second option is a symbolic strike to show that something was done. In such a case it will be the nuclear facilities or what is left of it and the missiles facilities (probably an Israeli strike). This will take a day or two. And of course there is the option that nothing will happened and some sort of a deal will be reached. But Iran refuses to end its nuclear program so it can’t be a good deal.
Iran has a very old Air Force. They will be wiped out in a few hours if they try to do anything.
My point is to remind you to relax. This is not Iraq or Afghanistan and this is not Bush or Obama.
Anyways the Ford Carrier and the strike fleet is about 2 days away. If it is going to happen then it is likely at the weekend.
But regardless of all the statistics and explanation. Anyone who helped the terror organizations who strike Israel has been destroyed within some years. Khadafi and Libya, Saddam Husain and Iraq, Assad and Syria, Tunisia, Lebanon, all the hosts of the Palestinian terrorists get destroyed along with Their nations.
And there is a new line: Iran, Turkey, Qatar.

Biography: Georgios Papanicolaou was a Greek cytologist and early cancer researcher who made an indelible contribution to medicine with the development of the Pap smear test. Christ reproves rash judgment. (1-6) Encouragements to prayer. (7-11) The broad and narrow way. (12-14) Against false prophets. (15-20) To be doers of the word, not hearers only. (21-29)
12-14 Christ came to teach us, not only what we are to know and believe, but what we are to do; not only toward God, but toward men; not only toward those of our party and persuasion, but toward men in general, all with whom we have to do. We must do that to our neighbour which we ourselves acknowledge to be fit and reasonable. We must, in our dealings with men, suppose ourselves in the same case and circumstances with those we have to do with, and act accordingly. There are but two ways right and wrong, good and evil; the way to heaven and the way to hell; in the one or other of these all are walking: there is no middle place hereafter, no middle way now. All the children of men are saints or sinners, godly or ungodly. See concerning the way of sin and sinners, that the gate is wide, and stands open. PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

When we are weak – it is He who is strong
He will not abandon us – all day long!
We go day to day stressed and strained;
All helter-skelter – our efforts restrained;
By one failure and foible after another
The buffoonery boggles – sorely smother!
We start and stop till eventually;
We’re just spinning our wheels unusually;
What did we forget to consider or try?
This is not working – but we don’t know why!
Did we pray and ask and did we receive?
His gifts, fruits, and wisdom – did we conceive?
Or did we just think we could do without?
Ask not a question or wonder or doubt?
After all, we are smart – we can do it ourselves;
We can order and sort and arrange on the shelves;
Why would we need any assistance at all?
We’re ready, willing, able – to answer the call!
When we try to do anything on our own;
We reap only partially what we have sown;
Without Jesus Christ – our success is nil;
When we attempt to succeed – by our own will!
Through prayerful reflection – dedicate your day;
Relinquish your effort – send your strife His way;
Prayerfully – carefully – just listen to Him;
Without His assistance – your chances are slim!
So next time you venture out into the world;
Take care to pray, first – lest you be unfurled;
Through the self and its plagues of centeredness;
You get dire deception and pigheadedness!
Remember what Jesus has promised He’d do;
To always be with you – send His Spirit, too;
When you are distraught and distracted someday;
Your Help in Distress – is the Truth, Life, and Way!

OUR PRAYER
We come to Your Altar on bended knee
In the name of Jesus – we pray to Thee
One of our loved ones is in peak peril
Demons they have her over a barrel
Another test will be taken real soon
Could sink hope or take her over the moon
By the Blood of the Lamb – we are healed
By His sacrifice – our fate – it was sealed
Protect her from all danger hurt or harm
We’re calling all Angels – set the alarm
Warring Angels by the dozens dispatched
Go after those demons – get them detached
Comfort Angels dispersed to quell the fear
Through Faith – we command fear disappear
Healing Angels anoint her with the oils
Cover her completely before she spoils
Relaying Angels with a message from God
Rest in His Arms – prepare to be awed
We take authority over our friend today
By the Power of the Spirit we humbly pray
We unite in our prayer – strengthen her
To guide those in charge of her to concur
Set all instruments so accurate they be
By the Power of the Spirit command them we
Take care in your analysis – through Hope
By your training and insight help her cope
God has given you the means to infer
A possible treatment that will deter
The failure of systems rightly attached
Your expertise surely cannot be matched
Let the Hand of God guide competent hands
To do what must be done – what He commands
As we lift her up to the Heaven on High
We give it all to You – and breathe a sigh
She is in good hands – the best there be
The Angels surround her – a sight to see
We lay our petition at the feet of Your Son
Whose victory over the cross He surely won
We know in control – You must ever be
