‘Superhuman’ Boy, 13, Swims 4 Hours in Frigid Water then Runs Over a Mile
to Rescue His Mother, Sister, and Brother Lost at Sea–Western Journal:
Austin Appelbee, of Perth was on vacation with his mother Joanne, 13-year-old brother Beau, and 8-year-old sister Grace in Quindalup last Friday when the three were swept away into Geographe Bay.
The family had paddleboards and a kayak when it happened. Austin managed to get instructions from his mother, then took off towards the shore, kayaking four hours. He left his life jacket behind two hours in so he could move faster.
Despite collapsing exhausted when he reached the shore, he sprinted two kilometers, reaching a phone around 6:00 PM.
Rescue helicopters and boats found the three around 8:30 PM and they were rescued by a volunteer marine rescue vessel.
Authorities credited Austin’s description of his family in helping locate them while his efforts are now being called “superhuman.”
The significance of the moment was not lost on Austin, feeling God’s presence in guiding him to save his family.
“I don’t think it was actually me [swimming]… It was God the whole time. I kept on praying, kept on praying. I said to God, ‘I’ll get baptised.’
“The waves are massive, and I have no life jacket on… I just kept thinking ‘just keep swimming, just keep swimming.”

It says swimming too, though. It is confusing.
He started out in the kayak but the waves were too rough and so he decided to swim. The life jacket was hampering his swim so he took that off… he swam nearly the whole way – alternating his swim strokes, swimming on his back and front… when he got to shore he collapsed but got up and ran until he found help. (From another article I read a few days ago).

I suspect the fundamental mistake we all make is analyzing Epstein according to our normalcy. I suspect he was some kind of psychopath who used EVERYONE to his own benefit. In my earlier life, I worked in what was then known as the Cowboy Building on NW Central Expressway in Dallas.
My office was right between the dining room and the room where Tom Landry held his weekly press conferences. Needless to say I was a huge Cowboys fan and slipped out to listen to him. By chance I met and became breakfast buddies with the great Ernie Stautner, then one of the coaches. What a thrill! He even had a football signed for me when the Cowboys won their first Super Bowl by every player on that team.
I thought nothing could relegate the Cowboys to a team I care nothing for until Jerry Jones and his players, no doubt in a hostage situtation, knelt on the field after the George Floyd pantomime.
I used to watch football “like a man” (as my elder daughter always told her friends), beginning in the days of Johnny Unitas and Bart Starr.
On the day Jones et al got down on their knees, I went cold turkey and have never watched another game.

I watched football like a man for years until the Redskins became the Commanders. I started watching the Skins when Sonny Jurgenson was their QB. He passed away yesterday at the age of 91. I was not a Dallas fan, but it was an awesome rivalry. I miss those days.

Because it is not free in all states to get an ID. Some states charge $150-$200. This is more like a voting tax.
If you are going to implement something across the board, it needs to be done fairly and equitably.
So some states place restrictions, costs, and barriers to enable some of their residents to get IDs. Then they turn around and claim it disenfranchises some people. Seems that it’s a state problem and an intentional one. They make it easy to cheat and by doing that they disenfranchise their legal residents. They can’t win unless they cheat and that’s the sole reason they do it.

Oregon was the first state to go total mail in voting. Strange but within about 2 voting cycles Oregon went from deep red to blue. Most Oregon citizens do NOT believe that it was liberals from California turning the state blue but mail-in voting & now illegals being able to obtain a Driver’s license.
What is really strange about most states giving out DLs to illegals is that most people upon getting a brand new state DL have to provide a Birth Cert and 2nd form of picture ID. Yet if you are an illegal, that DL policy is waved to illegals in most areas giving DLs to Illegals.
On top of that most of the states giving DLs to illegals register them to vote when they get their DL, along with there being virtually no difference in an Illegals DL and a American Citizens’ DL. In other words, not only do the areas giving DLs to illegals register them to vote, but give them an ID so that they can actually go into anyplace that requires an ID & vote. With Oregon, there is no ID requirement since all ballots are mailed out to all registered voters.
Most people in Oregon are Conservative except supposedly a small section in and around Portland. Was Oregon the test state to see how much if any fraud could be done with mail-in voting?

I thought a judge had put a halt to this? That the VA SCOTUS was going to have to decide.
BTW, Miyares clutching his pearls on this. I don’t recall anything of substance he did in his six years in office to shore up election integrity.

There was a group that was investigating the Oregon elections. I’m talking deep diving into them….
They started noticing the number of voters even in the off year elections really jumped around 2001 to 2002 due to the state going total mail-in voting in 2000.
It wasn’t just small jumps it was huge jumps which mostly came from the Portland area. Strange as it sounds, but it was like 2 or 3 voting cycles after Oregon implemented TOTAL mail in voting that the state flipped to blue. My much smaller research found similar trends, so I was actually shocked when they had found it too.
