Apparently, the mother of NBC reporter Savannah Guthrie has been kidnapped by someone or some group. The strange, weird, and rather odd events surrounding the issue have been unfolding for several days. Tonight, Savannah Guthrie and her siblings released a weird video saying, “we will pay,” in what appears to be a statement about a ransom.
The internet has been ablaze with this story for the past four days. I have no idea what is going on, but the entire thing seems sketchy. Maybe that’s what happens when someone is kidnapped and the communication takes place in public. It’s all weird.

I have to agree. Kidnapping for ransom is about the worst way to get money there is. The police are very good at surveillance and you have to exchange the cash somehow and some place. My guess is someone connected to paid caregivers or domestic helpers – housekeepers, ground crew- are suspects and may also work for Annie or report to her. Kidnappers were known to Nancy.
No sign of break-in – did they know where a key was hidden did they leave a door open? She may have let them in since no evidence of break-in. They knew the subscription to doorbell camera wasn’t current.
I don’t think Annie or husband is involved – my guess is she is distraught at the thought someone she hired to take care of mother may be involved.
