Somehow, we need to get messaging out to better justify what is happening in Minnesota rather than just Nobody is above the law and we are just doing our job.

Men without God, crave an idol to worship. The most obvious idol is Communism/Marxism, which many wise men realize is an abomination.
However, there is an older idol than Communism. This idol launched the French Revolution. This idol launched the United Nations. This idol launched the entire post Cold War world order. This idol is called “democracy.”
The idol promised, if every nations had a free market, then no war can be made again. The idol promised, every human craves freedom and no religion (including Islam) can ever be an impediment. The idol promised, fiat money is a source of endless prosperity. The idol promised, every ill in the world can be attributed to not having enough “democracy.”
And like all false gods, the idol cannot be satisfied until it conquers all of the humanity. Until it conquers all of the world.
Because we live inside this idol, we were not able to see its shape. How does an organ know what its host body looks like? And so we spent most of our lives ignorant of how much this idol took place.
We blamed inefficient politics for not getting anything done, we blamed not enough Republicans holding office. When in fact the actual cause of gridlock isn’t gridlock at all – it’s that we did not notice that nation-state decision-making got sublimated into a global “democracy.”

I think that the officers were doing the right thing and the officer that pulled the gun away may have saved others’s by keeping it pointed down.

Bringing a lawful (permitted in this case) pew pew to a protest is okay in Minnesota. But is it really a good idea? While it may be legal in some states, bringing a gun to a protest is not universally acceptable and can pose serious risks to safety and the peaceful nature of the assembly. Further, a protester carrying a legal firearm should announce it when being detained, both for legal compliance and safety… BUT Minnesota is not a “duty to inform” state, meaning you are not legally required to proactively disclose a firearm unless asked by law enforcement. I think this is the crux of the issue.

Pretti has his arm around another protester (brown coat/black belt) appearing to walk her to the sidewalk.
As he is walking her to the sidewalk another protester (grey coat/red backpack/white headband) is walking in front of the white car
The greycoat is speaking to the ICE officer (olive coat/brown backpack/brown hat) and she stops and confronts the ICE officer
The ICE officer shoves the grey coat lady and she falls backwards
Pretti leaves the other protester and stands between the ICE officer and the grey coat protester.
The olive coat ICE officer has a can of spray and as the Officer sprays, Pretti puts his hands up and turns away
Pretti is trying to avoid the spray and nearly trips over the grey coat protester who is trying to get up
Pretty has his back to the officer who is still spraying, and is trying to help the lady up who is in his way, keeping him from walking away.
Three other ICE officers come and help subdue Pretti who has gone to his hands and knees
One of the three begins punching Pretti in the face
In the middle of this a 5th officer approaches from the left side. Appears to take a gun from his left hip and extends his hand into the pile of agents on top of Pretti, then goes on to begin spraying the grey coat lady who had fallen and is now standing

This pic is cut off at the top but I’ve seen others with the full view of the standing officer and it looks about right for the shadow caused by the standing officers head on the ground. I could be wrong. Some are saying it’s his phone and others say it’s the bottom of his jacket behind his hand which also seems plausible. I guess we will wait for the results of the full investigation.

@Val1 Reminds me of a place I used to work, a privately owned small business that manufactured components for the aerospace industry. Lunchtime volleyball (front office vs manufacturing floor) often resulted in disagreements that transferred into intentionally poorly manufactured parts in the shop. (Thank God for a good quality control department.) Then we had a new engineer come on board, someone who was a card-carrying member of USA Volleyball (or equivalent). He knew the rules. He took the time to train all players in the rules, offer mini-workshops on setting up the ball, spiking the ball, serving the ball, etc., after hours. Once the players had a unified understanding of the game, the ill-will after games disappeared. The whole company rallied.
I feel like we’ve got an executive branch of the government trying to enforce the rule of federal law and a whole bunch of other actors trying to get their own way and line their own pockets. Until we can agree on the rules of engagement, there will be no peace.

It is unbelievable to think that 100% of taxes my husband and I have paid into the federal system over 40+ years were sucked up by just ONE faux-daycare in ONE year. Value in US citizenship. This includes one-day voting, voting systems that are not open to fraud, voter ID, thoughtful immigration policy and enforcement, no sanctuary cities, the ability to conduct daily life in safely, infrastructure in working condition, economy strong enough and unfettered enough that one can earn a living.
US Literacy. The challenges here are great, given there are so many sources of information and distraction, but it seems VITAL to the preservation of our nation that its citizenry have some common understanding (= unity) of our history, the things that make our system of government unique and desirable, the things that underpin the system of government, what can undermine it, the responsibilities of the citizen, and so forth. [I note that my local library has about 5 books on the Founding Fathers and about 30 linear feet of books of the Civil Rights era.]
I don’t expect a government populated by humans to be error free, but I do expect a more ethical, responsible-to-the-taxpayer government. That is, rather than fraud and corruption being the norm, I’d like to see it be the exception.

The massive corruption that is currently being unveiled all across the country is evidence that the DoJ and FBI have utterly failed at their jobs. Also, the regulatory state has utterly failed. Whatever model we have for policing the regulatory state is not working. Massive reform is necessary, immediately after the prosecutions are done. Let’s see thousands of prosecutions for the trillions that have been stolen. Then, let’s break the current system which has failed us all.
