Hello Friends,
You know that I like educational, inspirational or news posts. This one is going to make you think. It shows the depth of what is going on. It’s educational. It highlights what happens to an individual or a society which chooses to hold on to the concept of “victimism” and denies the concept of “responsibility”. Israel would not have survived if we were to be stuck on all the wrongs that were done against us over the years.
The Israeli is a bit too harsh to my taste but this is who he is, his personality. The Gazan is a bit soft, also personality. But try to read between the lines.
I have to clear a few key words in Arabic that are being used, pay attention to those words when they appear:
~Muqawama : Arabic for Armed Resistance. In Palestinian areas they mean attacking Jews and terror.
~Taqiyya: An Islamic idea of concealing one’s true beliefs or intentions or lie when a person feels in danger or that it is necessary. It is more commonly used against non-Muslims.
~Habibi or Ya Habibi– Arabic for “My Dear” or “My love”.
A few highlights: ~The Palestinian is 21 years old and he doesn’t really know what happened in 2005 when Israel gave Gaza to the Palestinians. He pretends that he knows. He was just born.
~The blockade on Gaza was following the takeover by Hamas. It would be insane for Israel to permit Iranian precision weapons, or chemical weapons or cement to build tunnels and certain things that can be used both for peace and war. So yes the sea was pretty blocked and Israel had gates and checked what is coming in. But most of the commodities were available to pass. But they also had Egypt blockading them a lot of the time and they also smuggled a lot from Egypt through tunnels.
Note that when he said that he only wants the West Bank and Gaza he knows very well that over 90% there want the whole of Israel.

This discussion reminded me of the joke about playing chess with a pigeon. He knocks over all the pieces, struts around very proud of himself, and then poops on the board. This young man has been propagandized from his mother’s milk. We should not feel superior, we have all been subjected to propaganda our whole lives. It’s an ongoing struggle to overcome the manipulation.
Islam cannot change or reform. Asking Islam to moderate and abandon their pillars of jihad, Jew hatred, and a global caliphate and to aspire to peace and prosperity is like asking a fish to start breathing air. It simply can’t happen.
I think that is what Tal was trying to prove, that these people cannot overcome their indoctrination.
I remember seeing a young American protestor, when asked to define the words in the slogans he was parroting, he realized he couldn’t answer. You could see the lights coming on. Tal was trying to do that for the young Palestinian but it didn’t work.

I watched all 25 minutes and reading between the lines, as you suggested, I see that achieving the goal of true Salaam (“peace” in Arabic) is almost stuck between the lines of talking a good game and actually lying.
I agree with your assessments presented above and appreciate the historical facts you provided.
Many Americans (including here on CTH) want to keep pretending this sort of evil rotting challenge is either not truly happening right in our own Country or that these Americans know the one-size-fits-all solution for each person and want to force it on all others, just like Jihadis here in the U.S. and Worldwide do. History tells us that catalyzing events are rarely as programmatic planners would like. Lines have to be crossed. Exactly how that power is exercised remains to be seen. You may be right that events have spiraled out of control thereby compromising any effective response. On the other hand, radical Islam, led by the Muslim Brotherhood and others, may well have bitten off more than it can chew. Time will tell.

In other words, what institution teaches this crap and how is it taught and from what age? Likewise, no where in our media does anyone address this issue in the US and most of our kids have no insight into the history of the Middle East, Israel, or even the USA. Why is Muqawama so prevalent in our kids too as evidenced by protests occurring on US college campuses. History was at the root of my education 50 years ago.

The whole narrative of “Palestinanism” is taught from birth, schools, kindergartens and before, mosques and everywhere.
This is also the narrative dictated to the useful idiots in the West. The narrative goes like this:
“The Palestinians lived in peace until the Zionists unjustly came from Europe and stole their lands, expelled them, killed them and made Israel as a colonial racist oppressive entity”.
Then you get the explanation to it which could be religious (Hamas) or nationalist (Palestinian Authority).
It sticks because there is some truth in it, just some. But they ignore a few key points:
~There was never a Palestinian state, it was only a designation of the land that contained both Jews and Arabs and they never wished for a state until the Jews established Israel, more than a decade later. So the essence of “Palestinanism” is not creative but the destruction of Israel.
~The Jews didn’t “live in peace in Palestine” before modern Israel, there were massacres in Hebron (1929), safer (1929), Jaffa (1921), Jerusalem (1920) and more.
~Ignoring the continuation of Jewish presence on those lands for thousands of years. Ignoring the rights of Jews to have a nation. In Islam every place which was inhabited by Muslims is forever Muslim. You can take most of the Palestinian surnames and it indicates where they are really from. The most common surnames in “Palestine” are : Al-Masri (“Masri” means “Egyptian”), Al-Khalili (means “Hebronite”, Hebron is in the West Bank and used to be a Muslim Jewish land until the Jews were massacred and left). Tamimi is another common name and means from the “Banu Tamim” tribe that is a huge and famous Arab tribe from Saudi Arabia and some in Iraq and Jordan and Gulf States. Etc… Some trace to the region and many not.
~Cause and effect and accountability is missing. They rejected the partition plan and the establishment of modern Israel in 1948. They choose war in 1948. What we call “The War of Independence”. Five Arab nations and the “Palestinians” attacked Israel when Israel didn’t have US military support and was short in weapons and they lost.
Then some 700,000 were displaced for a few reasons. But the double standard is obvious because they fought to kill the Jews. If Israel was to lose it would mean not only displacing Jews but killing them. This is what happens in wars. When you lose there are consequences.
But all this history is meaningless because in Israel we would love to live side by side if it was possible. When they deny our right to have a land of any size then they lose the argument.

No one, to my knowledge, has won a war against Israel in modern times. Some Muslims think they have but their pride deceives them. To Israel’s credit, they are beginning to understand that the only people they can depend on is themselves. As they study their origins and history with an open mind, they may become more enlightened as to their future. World leaders will come and go. Not so with the 12 tribes of Israel. Understand this: “the promise is secure for all of Abraham’s descendants, not just for those who are related by Law but also for those who are related by the faith of Abraham”. It is well known that later Christians defined themselves as against Jewish beliefs as much as they used heretics to delineate what Christianity is.
Less well know is how Jews defined themselves against Christianity. It was more subtle, but deeply interwoven. Including in those “uninspired … man-made traditions”.
But, more overtly, they don’t accept Christian scriptures! Christian Scriptures put a spin on Old Testament Scriptures.
This isn’t an analogy many will like, but it is like having ‘a man can be a women’ shoved down your throat. For a long time, men dressing as women were a side show, but still part of our culture. Milton Berle continuing burlesque and vaudeville traditions. Other TV shows and movies, RuPaul, etc. Then all of a sudden they are invading women’s restrooms, beating up girls in sports. And trying to depict you as the bad guy.
Of course you resist. And maybe even purge those old traditions that were abused against you. That is what Jews have done. Some of it was independent of Christianity. After the Bar Kochba revolt, following miracle workers was a bad thing. Despite millenia of miracle workers in the Old Testament. Some of it was induced by Romans alternating who they persecuted. But some of it was in response to Christians abusing Jews.
And, as the author points out, Christianity started out as a Jewish sect. It took Paul to significantly proselytize non-Jewish people and then protect them from fellow Christians who would Judaize them. So Christianity was woven into Judaism from the start.
So we Christians and our viewpoints have been expunged from Judaism, almost as much as Judaism has been expunged from Christianity. So we have had an ugly mutual divorce, and that includes never seeing things the same way as your ex does. Including the interpretation of shared Jewish Scriptures.
There is a book out there on the Jewish side of this. Unlike the Christians who did attack Jewish beliefs, the Jews never explicitly attacked Christian beliefs, but attacked many other Jews who had similar beliefs. Yup, much of our unique differences weren’t so unique when they started.
Weirdly, there are many modern scholars that fight to claim Jewish Christianity was something very different, but most of the examples were 100’s of years afterwards. Similarly there are those claiming Christianity was invented by Paul. And other stuff.
But yeah, Jews will rarely take Mathew’s, Mark’s, Luke’s, John’s or Paul’s words saying how Christ fulfilled Jewish Scriptural promises.

This nation belongs to the people who live here and work here and raise families here and will be buried here. It does not belong to billionaires who hold citizenship in three countries and will flee to their bunkers the moment things get bad. It does not belong to tech oligarchs who view democracy as an obstacle to efficiency. It does not belong to foreign interests who have purchased so much influence that they might as well be writing our laws themselves.
We have to stop letting them divide us. We have to start seeing each other as fellow Americans again instead of enemy combatants in a culture war that was manufactured to keep us weak. We have to remember that the person screaming at us online is also a victim of the same manipulation, and maybe if we stopped screaming back and started talking, we might realize we have been fighting the wrong enemy this entire time.
Turn off the television. It is not informing you. It is programming you. Question everything, including the sources you trust, especially the sources you trust. Talk to people who disagree with you and do it without trying to win. Listen to why they believe what they believe. You might discover that the monster you have been told to hate is actually just another person trying to make sense of a confusing world with imperfect information, exactly like you.
Remember who you are. You are an American. Your ancestors came to this land or were brought to this land or were already on this land, and regardless of how they got here, they built something together that was supposed to be different from the old world’s tyrannies and aristocracies. That project is not finished. Every generation has to fight to keep it alive against the forces that want to drag us back to a world where a handful of rulers own everything and everyone else serves at their pleasure.
Stop letting them divide you. Your enemies are not your neighbors. Your enemies are the people who profit from your division and are building machines to replace you the moment you are no longer useful.

British mathematician and philosopher, dies at 26
Biography: Frank Ramsey was a British mathematician and philosopher best known for his immense contributions to learning prior to his early death at 26 years old. He was a friend of the Austrian philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein, who considered Ramsey one of the few thinkers to really understand his work.
Ramsey translated Wittgenstein’s Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus to English during his undergraduate degree and played a key role in bring Wittgenstein back to philosophy and Cambridge. The two were both members of the Cambridge Apostles, a secret intellectual society which also included among its members Bertrand Russell, G. E. Moore, and John Maynard Keynes.
While less well-known than Wittgenstein, Ramsey is no less regarded by those who know of him. He made major contributions in mathematical logic, philosophy, economics, and probability theory. His two best known economic works, for instance, are “A Contribution to the Theory of Taxation” (1927) and “A Mathematical Theory of Saving” (1928).

COMMENTARY FOR GALATIANS 3
The Galatians reproved for departing from the great doctrine of justification alone, through faith in Christ. (1-5) This doctrine established from the example of Abraham. (6-9) From the tenor of the law and the severity of its curse. (10-14) From the covenant of promises, which the law could not disannul. (15-18) The law was a school master to lead them to Christ. (19-25) Under the gospel state true believers are all one in Christ. (26-29)
26-29 Real Christians enjoy great privileges under the gospel; and are no longer accounted servants, but sons; not now kept at such a distance, and under such restraints as the Jews were. Having accepted Christ Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, and relying on him alone for justification and salvation, they become the sons of God. But no outward forms or profession can secure these blessings; for if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. In baptism we put on Christ; therein we profess to be his disciples. Being baptized into Christ, we are baptized into his death, that as he died and rose again, so we should die unto sin, and walk in newness and holiness of life. The putting on of Christ according to the gospel, consists not in outward imitation, but in a new birth, an entire change. He who makes believers to be heirs, will provide for them. Therefore our care must be to do the duties that belong to us, and all other cares we must cast upon God. And our special care must be for heaven; the things of this life are but trifles. The city of God in heaven, is the portion or child’s part. Seek to be sure of that above all things.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you herebouts. My father, a man with German grandparents, had read about this history in Kuralt’s book, and also saw this CBS broadcast and called me to point out a huge sin of omission in the CBS broadcast.
