Wanted to share this because it was such an unusual outburst of weather yesterday. Thundersnow Storm in a Winter Field — Photo taken along a nature trail in Northeast Ohio. Day started off nice enough with gentle flurries and temperature just above freezing. Ended up hearing four separate peals of thunder with snow coming down hard and fast, briefly causing a whiteout. Then as suddenly as the storm came through, it was gone. Lasted only minutes.
Lake effect off of Lake Erie?
I would expect it’s connected to Lake Erie, yes, as well as colder air rapidly moving in on top of above freezing temperatures … it was one of the quickest storms in the world though, like a microburst.
Sounds like what they call a “Clipper.” Thankfully, they move through rapidly 👍

Good morning to you and our friends here. Saw you were struggling with ear mites for Tink. Happened to our troop here and I use “Revolt” which is a generic for “Revolution”. Revolt is about half the price of Revolution, needs a vet Rx, and works wonders to free the kitties from ear mite infestations. Our apartment is on a lake and we get all the bugs – but our kitties don’t go outside, they stay inside. Nevertheless, they weren’t immune so we had to start up the Revolt on monthly topical at the top scruff of their neck – relatively easy to do. Would help Tinkster feel better. They have different dosage by weight.

My go to for ear mites is diatomaceous earth (DE). It absolutely must be labeled food grade – not the type used in pool filters.
A small amount on your fingertip rubbed into the ear will clear things up pronto. It is not only non-toxic, but is actually loaded with minerals that are good for pets. It doesn’t even sting. Many vets recommend supplementing it for horses/mules/burros because it is anti-parasitic and contains trace minerals they need.
You can find it at gardening stores, feedstores and the like.
It’s even cheap!

I’ve missed you all bunches. I too use food grade DE as a barrier treatment for the first few months of the year, but didn’t know I could on those fleshy membranes of their ears. I thought to stay away from their mucous membranes and ears for fear of discomfort or drying them out. Good to know.
Strangely, I have to watch my DE usage because I’ve had the most pleasant experience with praying mantises and those… along with some righteous little crickets that look like little old men… have been keeping insects at bay for me. So I find myself treating until about June but thereafter a little barrier seems to occur and our Mantis babies seem to take over.
I don’t know what they eat, but those critters are really friendly towards us humans and I don’t want to harm their exoskeleton… so I let them earn their keep and eat the smaller bugs.
My flowers just bolster and we create a little garden of hedge-like goodness with big flowery plants and tomato plants that get about 5 ft tall.
Our kitties just love their little “pets” that come to visit them including an occasional frog! It’s a balanced ecosystem here and I’m trying to let nature teach me a little.
I don’t like chemicals on the kitties, but I have a good country vet I trust and Revolt has brought them comfort.
Excellent point Woo regarding praying manti(?). You definitely don’t want to injure the good guys. The diatomaceous earth is composed of almost microscopic ancient diatoms with very sharp edges that pierce the exoskeleton of bugs, worms etc, causing them to dry and dessicate. They are too small to harm humans or pets.

Good afternoon Soaz. I had forgotten about (DE). I dump it on the fire ant hills along with ground cinnamon. They hate it and will abandon their hills and go elsewhere. I do have to re-treat them though when it rains. It is so much better than that awful poison they tout for the ant hills, especially since I free range my chickens. I do not have to worry about them or the other creatures who frequent my pasture and yards getting poisoned.
Yes I’ve given it to the horses with their feed for the parasites, and it is very inexpensive to buy.

Hello Treepers. I’ve come here again to thank all of you here who prayed for me after a post I made here in January 2022 four years ago. Low point in my life, long period of unemployment, had to borrow money from a relative to avoid getting evicted, and so on.
I received a job offer a couple weeks after that post. Four years later I am still employed by that company in a basically ideal work situation (full time remote, good pay, etc.). I cannot thank all of you enough who prayed for me and helped get me out of a bad situation. Thank you all again and have a wonderful Sunday today.

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Having had pretty much everything including my own daughter stolen from me… I cling to “The Lord Will Restore the years the locusts have eaten.”
Kiddo was off making her own testimony and now she has revealed the travesty occurring on our streets with our ill-equipped children. My home loss due to Obamacare came with it a tool so as to save our lives through the “plandemic”. My shelter and stability come from The Lord and no other!

for WITH GOD I am on solid ground.
Frankly, the devil just pissed me off. This evil in this land is not the handiwork of mankind… it is the work of demons and principalities… overcoming those weak in spirit to lead them to sin and eternal damnation.
We resist, resist, resist… and we call sin like we see it. These heathens have an eternal hell ahead of them that burns hot… and we have eternal bliss. God Wins.

For the last two morning a young red tail hawk has picked off birds feeding at my feeders. I mean, Hawks gotta eat too, but I sure wish they would eat somewhere else.

How to summon the Holy Spirit. Witness!
If you ever wondered how to immediately bring Gods spirit into your life at a given moment witness to others, his promise is his presence.
You may purpose many excuses, it is a tool to bring people to God. Also, it allows you the individual to experience Gods spirit first hand, which in my opinion is far more useful. To flow in Gods spirit is a gift, a useful tool in navigating our corrupt world and finding our lords path for you. Many never use it and perish for lack of knowledge, now you have that knowledge.
You cannot be selfish in witnessing to others and God has put that failsafe on the issue. Your witness is to glorify and honor God to the point that others share with you that experience.
You cannot save a person and God cannot unless they hear his invitation that you give, it’s a mutual agreement that is promised to all.
Now, this promise is as all of Gods promises except you can be assured it is available by the effectiveness. Once you begin to flow in this promise all the others become opportunities because you can flow as intended. We are spiritual beings in a physical world and remembering that is often difficult.
