Not taking anything away from both your posts, your right, I went to camp which was ruined with Fresh Air fund inner city Black kids. The Newark Black kids hated the East Orange Black kids. They ruined the camp. It was very tribal. The stories I could tell you guys especially what my Pop went through. Closest thing would be to read Cashill’s fantastic book “Untenable”. A lot of those kids came up here and stayed with the Do-Gooders. Great stories, they had terrible experiences hosting these little thugs. This was one of those ideas that looks good on paper, in real life, not so much. Most kids I encountered didn’t really want to come up here but the parents made them. The culture shock and the reality of life out in the boondocks was totally ovwrwhelming to them. They all had serious behavioral issues. I don’t know anyone that was happy they stepped up to do this.. as you say, the stories we could tell.

I recall reading an article in a local magazine that was interviewing the head whatever he’s called in their community in Lewiston Maine.
The interview was shocking, he fully and openly admitted that they knew they’d no assimilated and they had no intention of doing so.
He said this was an issue locally, he knew his Maine neighbors had issues with this and then he said he didn’t care at all, they were lucky to have them there.

It’s been pretty obvious that many politicians in the Republican Party or against President Trump and the MAGA movement. This has been apparent ever since President Trump came on the scene in 2015. IMO, they are loyal to the Bush Establishment UniParty group and work in the background to stop Trump’s policies and the MAGA movement.
So, I guess it’s time to start labeling the Republicans as either MAGA supporters or Establishment supporters. It’s very important now that we are heading into the primary season.
May not be a good thing to do, but the party is split and we need to elect more MAGA Republicans. Of course they lie and you don’t know what they are going to do after elected.
I’m just frustrated that we have so many backstabbing Republicans that don’t vote and support what their voters want. Their voters are mostly MAGA and they are mostly Establishment.
Probably much better ideas out there???
I can think of one big problem that we just saw a few months ago, GOP voter participation. Trump has been the only republican that can put together all of the nuanced, right-leaning tribes into a single, large voting block. GOP voters have a long history of staying home and griping about the country later. No idea how to fix that. When the tavern is more alluring than the voting booth on election day, things will never go well. The primaries are even worse which is how you end up with 90% GOPe in the senate.
It’s very frustrating to watch, but the GOPe is fine with it. They would much rather have a democrat in a seat than a non-establishment republican.
It’s hard for me to understand the conservative voter apathy that occurs during election time. I remember the Big Red wave midterm that was supposed to occur that didn’t. And, you are right that President Trump seems to be the only one to get a voting block excited enough to vote. That’s why they plan to get him out doing rallies for this midterm.
Maybe expose the crisis that we are in. Democrat strategy “ Never Let A Good Crisis Go To Waste” to get their hair on fire activists to motivate their voters and cheaters.
Somehow ask the voters what kind of country do you want to live in. Define MAGA policy goals and say if we lose in 2026 and show the horror of leftist policies and show specific comments what they say they are going to do if elected.
To me, it is a crisis. We were well on our way to lose our country with Obama and Biden and Democrats. The crisis is real- get out and vote!

Wherever there are open primaries or the convention system is used (both present in Virginia) it makes it tough for MAGA to win. Republicans have gone to the convention system IOT eliminate any chance of MAGA succeeding (to date). The Republicans recent assh-whooping in the gubernatorial race last November has set back the Republicans big-time. If MAGA is to succeed here then good candidates need to be found and encouraged to run. Money is always the issue for Republicans in VA (unless you are Glenn Youngkin), and the establishment Republican funding organizations (RNC, Senate and House funds) usually don’t put up significant sums to help the candidates. Virginia is a very tough State for even RINOs. More so when Pantsuit 2.0 gets done reducing the Republican congressional districts to one.

Given that so many people attend church services well armed, this could have gone sideways really fast.
In many places in America, it would have- no doubt at all.
Now a days if you have a license or concealed carry church officials usually encourage you to carry in the church too.
Another tidbit, is most church officials want you to keep those you trust that normally sit by you informed you carry, just in case.
And that may have been part of the reason this incident was planned out and scheduled.

Readers may have noticed that there is a Narrative Operation floating around out there to the effect that ICE is engaging in an ethnic cleansing program.
We know this is not true and this post isn’t an attempt to argue about or belabor that narrative, rather to draw attention to a very sinister reality.
There is a concerted effort in the media to gin up racial strife and I’ve tried to draw some attention to it through my sharing of videos earlier in the day.
This particular video is made by a woman who has had a yt channel for over three years and is shutting down her channel due to repeated death threats and threats of bodily harm.
This lady is an historian who makes videos about genealogy topics such as the history of racial classifications and how race is perceived, as well as her journey in discovering her own lineage.
She has over 185,000 subscribers, has produced hundreds of videos, and is a mixed lady (white, black, Native Indian, Creole or what is sometimes referred to as ‘Melungeon’).
The NYTN videos popped up on my yt timeline due to my own interest in and long-years studying of genealogy and I’ve probably watched a good 90% of her content.
This lady is legit, authentic, and dedicated.
Bringing this back to my opening statement regarding the False Narrative Operation of ICE engaging in an ethnic cleansing program . . .
While perusing the comment section under this video, there were comments (bots or not) stating that MAGA and conservatives, in general, were pushing racial hatred.
One comment in particular stood out:

I was at church with my family this morning and was not aware of this story until later in the afternoon.
Number one, I would have my son and his wife take the kids home and call the police on their way home.
Request the agitators leave and let them know they were preventing us from worshipping!!! And of course get our phones out and record, them and our response.
Is there anything else we need or should do? Would love to hear what other treepers think.

One thing I liked in the video was seeing one of the congregants sitting quietly with their arms lifted to Heaven to beseech the Lord.

The governor’s mansion is less than 9 blocks from the church that was attacked, and one block over from Grand Avenue, a leftist beehive if ever there was one.
