Received a letter from our utility company today telling us electric rates for 2026 are going up 12.2% and natural gas is going up 10.3%. The chest thumping over falling prices is making the White House look disconnected from reality. Except for eggs and gasoline what prices have fallen? Sure, prices are not rising anywhere near as fast as they were under “Autopen” but they aren’t falling.
Americans are too uniformed, well stupid, to understand that once the inflation snowball gets rolling it’s hard to stop.
The message should never be we are going to beat inflation easily just because that’s what people want to hear.
Autopen handlers started the ball rolling intentionally.
They all should be given a transitory prison sentence.
I remember early on in his term or maybe just after the election, Pres Trump commenting that the economy was going to really boom BUT there would be a bit of a bumpy road before it all revved up completely and that he also might look a bit like a dictator for a time in order to get the things he said were needed to correct the mess left by the democrat regime. I’m paraphrasing because I don’t remember his exact words, but it struck me as incredibly honest for him to warn everyone that it would not be a smooth road ahead but to hang on with him and it would be so good after all the bumps.

Actually, prices are NOT going up so much as the value of our money is decreasing. … I’m old, and I actually knew people that said they were paid weekly in $20 gold and silver coins in the old days.

(After thousands, maybe, millions of interactions) a USA citizen was taken into custody in an ICE operation according to a reporter.

Most likely all those US citizens arrested were interfering and making trouble. If they are interfering and making trouble, then they are fair game for being arrested. Maybe we should charge some of them for aiding and abetting the illegals or for assaulting the ICE agents.
Until the number of US citizens arrested who are totally innocent approaches the number of J6ers who were unfairly arrested, I don’t think anyone should be complaining about any US citizens arrested.
