Well anyhow, we owned a used car store for the last 16 years I was in the business.
We from day one specialized in Subaru’s. They sell extremely well in cold weather states.
The vast majority of our customers were not who would fit the stereotype above.

I think the response is going to be more muted than the George Floyd boondoggle, for one reason only: Baby, it’s cold outside. The listless losers who were happy to get a paid vacation from their unemployment checks are going to take one look at the January weather in Minneapolstan and elect to stay home and go to war on Xwitter and bluesky or whatever. Some local thugs may show up, but they’re not going to take the cold much better than the rent-a-mob types. We had an irate and arrogant passenger on board a flight once who would not turn off his telephone and laptop as instructed by the flight attendants. They called the cabin and asked for guidance — we are not allowed to takeoff unless the cabin is ‘ready’. I left the cockpit in the capable hands of my copilot and one flight attendant with the parking brake on, advised him to tell tower we would be ready momentarily, walked back and calmly instructed the man to turn off the laptop and phone now. (Wearing my Captain’s hat.) He mumbled something about how important he was. I reached over, calmly took the laptop and phone up to the cockpit, closed the door, and reminded everyone over hte PA that it was a federal offense not to follow the instructions of the crew. The seat belt sign was on, all pax should be seated and we would be taking off shortly.
We were #1 for takeoff, a long line behind us so it would have been a huge delay to get out of sequence.After we got up to cruise altitude the FA called and said the man in a much quieter tone of voice wondered when the Captain was going to give him his laptop and phone back. We laughed all the way to destination. I handed them to him as he disembarked. I later learned that the entire first class section cheered after I did that.

I believe I’m not alone in wanting to see guilty parties arrested then given the J6 treatment while awaiting trial. It would appear we have more politicians on the take than not and those people if they are accepting money from the drug cartels and other criminal enterprises, need to be held accountable. Yet as of now, we are not seeing this happen which leads to everyone’s frustration. I’m not a lawyer, nor an expert on the US judicial system, but from where I sit, it certainly seems to be broken that so many apparently guilty parties remain unpunished. I worry most about the coming elections being stolen and pray our President is working behind the scenes to stop this from happening, because if it does our Republic will surely be lost. I’m certain that if the status quo does not change soon, we all may be lost. And I haven’t even broached the activist judges which appear to be running amuck. So many things going on right now, and so little evidence of justice. One can’t help but be concerned for our future. Am I alone in these fears? On the bright side, I have my faith, so there’s that. Iran seems to be getting on the right track. We have the best President we’ve had in decades. The Venezuela mission was extraordinary. So, there are glimpses of light on the horizon, yet my cautious nature prevails.

The mental health field does not lead to wellness. It has very little capacity to cultivate psychological or spiritual wellness.
We have isolated our kids from thier parents, our families from meeting, sterilized our church meeting processes, controlled speech, meeting, and downplayed character development.
We have downplayed the existence of a Universal Truth or moral code, much less an all knowing Creator.
