Americans sometimes have short memories. Grifters and political hacks oftentimes count on that, as new shiny objects constantly intervene.
Do not lose sight of the fact that during a televised Cabinet meeting nearly six months ago, Pam Bondi and Kash Patel promised to track down and shut down all the funding and control systems for all of these domestic terror orgs.
Antifa and other groups were specifically mentioned and identified by the President and a panel that was present. A panel of independent conservative reporters and investigative journalists who have been tracking these violent organizations for years, and set out the linkages.
But like on a dozen other fronts, Pam Bondi and Kash Patel have done nothing meaningful since that event. It was lip service.
The continuing violent protests, riots and attacks on federal agents we now suffer are the proof of their complete failure. The radical left’s insurrection and riot machine is still alive and well, as a dozen cities brace for the bought-and-paid for riots, attacks, violence and destruction.
We can thank Pam Bondi and Kash Patel for last night in Minneapolis, and for what is to come.
They had six months to roll up this insurrection and riot machine, and did absolutely nothing.

The ease of which an adolescent child can get a degree certifying them to label others is sobering. The line between normal emotions and “psychiatric disorders” is very fuzzy. If you are a mental health or health care professional, you cannot get paid or prescribe a medication unless you “diagnose” the patient.
The mental health field does not lead to wellness. It has very little capacity to cultivate psychological or spiritual wellness.
We have isolated our kids from thier parents, our families from meeting, sterilized our church meeting processes, controlled speech, meeting, and downplayed character development.
We have downplayed the existence of a Universal Truth or moral code, much less an all knowing Creator.
No wonder our kids are crazy and the world is degenerating into chaos

SCOTUS has already ruled that district judges like this clown have no jurisdiction outside their district unless it is a official class-action case which this is not. He only has jurisdiction in the southern district of New York (New York City) so the Trump administration must IGNORE this ruling and cut off funds to the fraudsters.
Unfortunately the Supreme Court has no enforcement mechanism except for a case getting back to the Supreme Court. That needs to be changed.

A Catholic priest involved in running parishes at some Ohio colleges gave a speech last week on his experiences. He admitted that he would be making broad generalizations, but was positive that, as generalizations, they were true.
Here are some quotes: “Young people today want Truth and want to associate with other people who want Truth.”

To me, this statement was particularly interesting, given that the past week has shown us Communist DEMS denying the visual evidence in the attack on the I.C.E. agent.

It would seem that at least a large minority of young adults are rejecting the idiocy around them.
Conservative, traditional Catholic orders – e.g. orders of nuns who wear habits, orders of priests reviving Latin Masses with Gregorian Chant or music by Mozart, Bruckner, Guilmant, Dubois, et al.- are experiencing a rise, even a sharp rise, in their numbers, after decades of decline.
On that basis, the priest told a personal anecdote: an incoming Freshman, accompanied by his mother, was coming through an Open House at the university where he was the pastor of a parish.
The young man, clearly uncomfortable with his mother around, stood several steps away from the priest’s table, while she spoke with the priest. They were not Catholic, or at least not practicing Catholics. The priest gave the mother a brochure, said “Hope to see you at our Mass,” and the two left.
Half an hour later, the young man returned without his mother, and said to the priest:
“I just want to know: is your church Woke?”
Taken aback by the question, the priest said no, the Catholic Church is pro-Life, does not approve of homosexual marriage, and that he would not say “Woke” would be a proper description.
The priest then asked him if he was a member of any church. He said his mother was “sort of” Catholic, and that his father used to be a Baptist, but that Religion was never important throughout his childhood and adolescence.
So what happened? The student went through Catholic Religious Education, was baptized, dated a Conservative Catholic girl whom he met at Mass, and the priest officiated at their Wedding Mass!
Recently, a convention of young Catholics – or of young people interested in the church – took place in Columbus: 19,000 showed up for a Latin Mass, with Gregorian Chant and music by Mozart.
One would assume that these are NOT the ones staggering around on marijuana in front of bars and tattoo parlors!
The priest said he is very optimistic, not just about the future of the Catholic Church, but also for America’s future.
To be sure, he quoted Pope Benedict XVI, who felt that the Catholic Church may have smaller numbers in the future, but the believers staying with it will be very strong Believers in Christ: few will be lukewarm!
And so, we need to support such young people to turn them into a majority!
I read an article at the Gateway Pundit yesterday that reported Holy Bible sales in the UK were up by over 100% since 2020 to the present, and that the new buyers were mostly Gen Z young people.

As an FYI, if I were to ever be speaking of the members I would use the wording “Catholics”, rather than indicating the institutional leadership (i.e. the Catholic church).
Africa likely has more woke bishops than you think – and Europe, the UK, and Ireland are right up there with the United States group. That said – my primary focus and concern is on our nation and her people.

People seem overly concerned with external validation from church and other leaders. They are much less certain of their own convictions and, in any case, lack the courage to live their convictions in the face of adversity,
We have a direct pipeline to God. While it is wonderful to find fellowship in worship, no intercessors are truly necessary. We don’t need to ‘follow’ anyone except for God. That’s it.
Until we live consciously in harmony with spirit we will naturally revert to our flawed and incomplete human condition. I trust in God and only God. I have full faith in His plans for us and I tend not to follow, but to lead by example.

I read that young men who are religious are flocking to traditional churches, such as Catholic and Orthodox, at a rate greater than ever seen before. It makes sense, as mainline churches are openly leftist and nondenominational churches are hostile to men and masculinity. An evangelical named Aaron Renn writes a good substack where he addresses topics like these.

Well now, as for me, I’ll always remember that I have quite a few LE officers that are my friends and that I trust them explicitly with my life to do the ‘right thing’ when my family and I have needed them. One of them happens to be my son, but I’ve had a long and good relationship with LE even before my son was born.

I am in full agreement with you as I also have family members in Law Enforcement…I see firsthand the work they do and the burdens they carry as they try to maintain their composure in situations where they are automatically accused of all kinds of things they would never do! It’s very easy to criticize from the sidelines, and we all understand that there are a FEW bad apples in the bunch (as there are in ANY profession) but most are good people, trying to do a hard job, often in spite of their leadership, and a public that loves to armchair quarterback!
(Had a former friend who was VERY anti police in his rhetoric and upon asking some questions, discovered that he had received several speeding tickets, which he admitted he deserved, but felt he shouldn’t have been given, regardless!)

Seeing those guys in masks raises my blood pressure. I had a son at USNA during that era-still angers me what they put him and his fellow Mids through. Here’s my take on the O&G situation in Venezuela. For context, I have spent 25+ years working in O&G and currently support one of those CEOs. 😀
US oil companies are not going to rush into Venezuela and spend billions to build new production. They already have roughly half a trillion dollars sunk into Canada. Oil sands, pipelines, refineries, long term contracts. That capital is locked in.
If they suddenly flood the market with Venezuelan heavy crude, they undercut themselves. More supply pushes prices down. That devalues the Canadian assets they already paid for.
Companies do not sabotage their own balance sheets.
Venezuela also means political risk, sanctions risk, legal risk, infrastructure decay, and years before meaningful output. Canada is stable, predictable, and already producing.
So the idea that US oil companies want to replace Canadian oil with Venezuelan oil does not hold up economically.
They protect existing investments first.
Always.
And remember, OPEC sets production targets yearly, and it would not allow Venezuela to suddenly flood the market and disrupt agreed output levels for countries like Egypt or Russia that are already producing less.
In other words, don’t expect anything to happen. Venezuela is still on the hook to Exxon for $1 billion, too.

Further, Venezuelan crude re-development and sale doesn’t have to do anything to Canadian investments. Canadian oil can continue to be used for domestic consumption in the US – while Venezuelan crude can be sold on the world market (which also goes back to what PDJT said).

Look at the actual infrastructure and not the poverty … it’s how the BRICS crowd rolls. For Chevron to say they could bring Venezuela’s oil sector back on line within 18-36 months means things were not as bad as advertised and … the Russians, who the technical ability, may have been seeking to move-in to do the work. [Note: there was more stuff on those Tankers than oil.]
