Was in high school when the Kent State shooting occurred. The lesson we learned was to not mess around with armed individuals, whether National Guard, law enforcement Officers, or criminals.
Of course, most of us kids already knew that given that most parents hunted, dads were former military, and don’t think there was a family in the neighborhood who had a parent that had not served in WWII and trucks our friends drove to high school had rifle racks mounted on the rear inside windows, that were rarely not holding a couple rifles.

As more information comes out, it appears this woman had three children, not just the one initially reported. She had been married to the children’s father before he died of some unreported cause. She then shows up in Minneapolis, “married” to another woman. Something just feels really weird about this lady’s life.
