There are NO Russian and Chinese ships all over Greenland. Greenland is part of NATO and already has a US Air Force base. According to Renee Nicole Good’s former husband’s obituary, he had three children. The obituary makes no mention of a wife, domestic partner, or special friend. That gentleman appeared on a podcast that was posted in May of 2021, two years prior to his death in 2023. At that time, he was not wearing a wedding ring.
If Renee Nicole Good is a widow, it is not in the generally understood sense of a woman whose husband died during the time they were still married.

Different viewpoint – here’s what I read…
Farms so large that the farmer can’t manage all the land. This goes back to too many mega farms, not enough small farms.
High costs due in part to use of chemicals (glysophate, etc – NOT healthy for the humans who eat the food) and high costs due in part to use of artificial fertilizers (bad techniques) – the answer to eliminate both is regenerative farming and natural farming.
Low prices due to large processors paying farmers low rates and charging customers high rates. This is one of the same issues there is for ranchers and beef prices – too much consolidation and concentration of processors. The answer for farmers are farmer markets and smaller regional distribution, with farms clustered around towns and cities, supplying local needs – cutting out the middlemen.
The entire “bigger is better” is one of the issues this nation has faced for some time in many areas – and particularly acute in the food production chain. It causes concentration of power, pricing, and control into the hands of a few and a very fragile supply chain due to a handful of choke points and large distances, poor prices for producers and high prices for customers. It’s also driven the destruction of family farms and ranches, an ever decreasing quality of food too often laced with toxins, and ever higher food costs for families.

The US Senate on Thursday voted 52-47 to advance a war powers resolution to limit President Trump’s military actions in Venezuela.
President Trump will veto the measure.
Five Republican senators joined the Democrats to advance the resolution: Young (IN), Murkowski (AK), Collins (ME), Rand Paul (KY), and Hawley (MO).
This is the third time the Senate has voted to advance a war powers resolution.
The usual suspects. I do believe Trump can veto that and they won’t get the 60 votres to override the veto.
To override a presidential veto, at least two-thirds of the senators present must vote in favor of the override. This means that if all 100 senators are voting, at least 67 votes are needed to successfully override the veto.

It’s all about the midterms even though many aren’t up for re-election. If a Rino is from a mostly blue district they will vote against Trump if they think it helps them stay in power. It’s not about us or the nation, it’s about their cushy job, salary, prestige, insider information and personal power.
The senate wants the money to continue to flow into their pockets. As I’ve said, the only act quickly when it hurts or helps them.

That doesn’t mean they were, but there was an X post of a so-called list of Senate and House members that had taken money from Venezuela. That list came from a dubious source, a previous member of the Venezuelan Regime. I think it is likely that this is a ploy to sow distrust, but it took no time at all after the capture of Maduro for the Senate to jump into action. Most names on the list were Dems.
I have not posted a list, nor will I. I still think it is a hoax but Congress needs take care of it.

Here is Ted Cruz’s most recent video on the Maduro arrest in Venezuela. It is quite informative.
Ted Cruz’s father came to the US (Texas) from Cuba to get away from Fidel Castro’s communist revolution. Ted Cruz is quite familiar with Cuba, Venezuela, and Latin American communism. As a senator representing Texas, he is also familiar with the oil economy.
You might not love Ted Cruz, but this is a good and topical podcast episode. It would have been better if his co-host Ben Ferguson (Sean Hannity #2) would have remained silent.

We certainly did not like the COVID lockdown here in Texas, but it seems not to have nearly so severe as what people in other states experienced.
A salon owner in the Dallas area, Shelley Luther, had her business raided by the police. The judge did not appreciate her lack of remorse so sent her to jail for 7 days and slapped on a $7,000 fine. That elicited such an uproar that our Lt Gov Dan Patrick offered to pay her fine and serve 7 days of home detention in place of Ms. Luther. That incident caused enough pressure for Gov Gregg Abbott that he started easing back on the restrictions. Shelley Luther is now a rep to the Texas House.
As far as the Cancun vacation goes, that was during the big winter storm that overwhelmed the ERCOT power grid. ERCOT has almost no interconnects with grids outside of the state of Texas. It was a state issue with very little ability to bring relief through federal means. The big stink was a matter of optics. Even the Democrats could not articulate how he possibly could have improved the situation. He did apologize.
He was absolutely right to do so, ignoring Biden. More people should have followed his example. It’s not like he was a Democrat that pushed the shutdowns, masking and the clot shot. Newsom is a good example of the hypocrite not Cruz, and I am no fan of Cruz. Also all the NY politicians like AOC that pushed the lockdowns and masking but went to free Florida to party maskless.
Okay Senator Cruz and his family wen on vacation during the couf. What shutdown orders did the Senator support/issue? What forces did he employ/support to make sure his fellow Texans or fellow Americans could not go on vacation?

It was the Beto versus Cruz election in 2018 that caused some military cyber men to review either the Dallas County or Bexar County election and question the machines.
