The Delaware legislators are in panic mode. The decision made by Judge McCormick is probably having a devastating effect on the state’s revenue. The state just went through a property reassessment and property taxes increased for some upwards of 50%. It did not go unnoticed. Now with all the companies that have left or are planning to leave the state will have to raise the lost revenue so they will either have to increase state income tax or implement a sales tax. Delaware at one time was a nice state to live in. Not so much now, it’s like being a stranger in a strange land.
