Against an organized effort by leftists and media allies to blame President Trump for the ¹affordability crisis, President Donald Trump delivers remarks on the economy and his policies to reverse the Biden price problem. WATCH:
Joe Biden economic, monetary and energy policies created two years of massive inflation. That inflation skyrocketed the cost for goods and services. Those high prices were then handed to the entering Trump administration, under the narrative of the “affordability crisis.”

Will there be a third term like Obama?
Obama ought to be arrested for his third term. It was worse than his first two.
CLASSIC PDJT back in his element, was great!
While he was shooting his mouth off, NIVIDIA chips being sent to China and an EO granting Ai amnesty is in the works.
Grab your ankles America.
He’ll just call us stupid.
“Affordability” is the new “Gravitas.”
lol gf MDM-MSM Progda Enemedia ….
The affordability problem is government
Because the fundamental Marxist strategy is to push the crisis through to the breaking point.
GOPers who forget this won’t understand how to prepare for it, won’t know how to fight it and can be tricked into collaborating with the perpetrators. Playing into Mamdani’s big lie that he’s solving affordability problems, rather than creating them, Republicans are treating Socialism as a legitimate policy proposal while passing up the chance to win the affordability argument.
Socialism is not the solution to the affordability crisis. Socialism is the affordability crisis.
When we forget that big government, its allied NGOs, unions, regulators, activists, and consultants cause the problems they’re promising to solve, we lose the argument and we lose the opportunity to actually solve the problems they created by getting rid of them.
Embracing Mamdani isn’t how you beat the Left: it’s how you permanently lose to it.

This is the Democrat cycle.
Cause a problem.
Blame and demonize your innocent opponent.
Present yourself as the champions for the victims.
Win on the problems.
Make the problem worse.
BTW, relying on victims for votes requires increasing the numbers of victims to win. But letting someone tag you with the truth of all your victimization will lose. Such an evil. Victimize, Demonize and play the Saint.
Pardon,…. after the Blame phase,.. add, Spoon feed the Dim’s Marxist MSM “Ministry of Truth” to propagandize voters to believe their Big Lies.
That’s why the Marxist Dims are so calm faced when they spew their blatant lies that are easily exposed,…. they merely rely on their Min. of Truth cover. See: Tampon Tim, Ill-hand Omar, Crazy Jazzy Crockofit, Chuck U., Schmuck,…. ad nauseam.
This seems to be the playbook for this current administration, but I don’t see too much “winning on the problems”.
Hot take: low interest rates don’t create inflation by itself. The inflation was created by reckless and criminal deficit spending by the Biden administration, when low interest rates removed risk of mis-allocated resources. It was the absolute fraudulent expansion of regulations and spending of Congress that created inflation that is destroying affordability today.
Legislators must be held criminally accountable for past actions, which is the one thing Trump is refusing to do. We see it, we complain about it, and time marches on. No one is going to jail.
Low interest rates allow refinancing to hide commercial failures , stock buy-backs to pump stocks, and social welfare expansion. The deficit has exploded, and DOGE cuts are ignored while we are 1,800 billion overspent. NGO middlemen siphon money for repackaging grants. Ukraine war spending enriches the industrialists as it always has. Judges are beyond corrupt, and the Supreme Court refuses to administer them. Immigration has been abused (legal H1B systems as well as illegal border enforcement) to the point that the “melting pot” has cracked like the Liberty Bell, and is leaking everywhere.
Meanwhile, we see infrastructure failing, the very Capital Spending needs that all of this deficit spending should have gone for. Roads, bridges, shipping ports, oil extraction, air traffic radar systems. Low interest rates help expand infrastructure, and we are short everywhere. Because the money was never spent on what it should have been spent on.
The politicians must be jailed, and the allocated spending must be returned. We MUST get a constitutionally balanced budget immediately. Then we need interest rates lowered to refinance the national debt, in that order, else the Deep State will siphon again.
Trump needs to get his house in order. We see it, and he needs to stop pretending that his staff is capable of reforming the FBI, CIA and DOJ.
This is what the doctor ordered…. PDJT explaining in his own words to the base….with some “Donald” humor… have patience, we will get there!
He is reading us MAGA people out here in fly-high-above us country.
The challenge for 2026 and 2028 is/remains how to explain how reductions in the rates of increase are good and helping keep the 2020 “price reduction promise” … to people who do not recognize reduction in rate of increase as “lower prices” … an increase is an increase.
Many here on CTH get it and some among the President’s MAGA supporters with sufficient financial understanding “get it”.
The problem remains that its not the rate changes in Macro-Levels of inflation … it is changes in costs at the retail shelf and actual point of surface paid by people who do not consider a rate reduction as a blessing or promise kept. i.e. Affordability
Prices are still going UP … it does not matter if it’s an increase reduced to 5 cents and dropping thanks to President Trump … or the $1.00+ and climbing increase under JoeBama’s Auto-Pen … An Increase is an Increase, which still means a continuing DROP in buying power …. and it’s NOT the dropping prices of December 2019.
The media and democrats are going to hammer away at a lack of “affordability” due to the President’s efforts while omitting the rest of the story .. supported by the media and the continued silence of the Republicans.
The President and his supporters need to put on a concerted education effort to explain in terms of cost at the cash register level … what has happened since January 2020 … with Numbers.
There needs to be a parallel campaign to push the resistance by Wall Street to respond favorably to his administration’s deregulation efforts as they did 2017-2019. To some extend this started last week when the President announced an effort by his economic counsel to look into the lack of cooperation to reduce prices by the financial masters and their middlemen.
Good points.
By the way, prices are higher in the worst blue states than in the red ones. Gently dropping where there are no DementoRats in charge…
That message needs to get out too.
You are forgetting something: The level of real wages which took a hit during the Bidumb regime. Wages are the last thing to rise coming out of an economic downturn.
It’s fun to see PDJT back on the campaign trail
Lack of affordability has a partner in crime who literally shoplifts in broad daylight, loads up the car and speeds off while the sales clerks shrug their shoulders and cha’ching the honest consumers’ purchases that have the inflated sales price that covers the attrition that just walked out the door with the goods the shoplifter didn’t pay for.
Another culprit that feeds the lack of affordability is all the government assistance that was supposed to go to those who really need assisting but instead an ‘under the table deal’ has been made by both government elected officials and their administrative minions who lie, steal, cheat, and even kill to take that which was not theirs to take. This is the government shoplifter.
The people actually assigned the bookkeeping duties wouldn’t know how to balance a checkbook. They are illiterate but cunning. They know how to click to move the $$ around.
I am sickened by the lack of communicating the atrocities of corruption within.
Get the message on point.
Tell the people the truth.
There is an absolute festering darkness within these institutions.
The working class, while trying to put gas in the car, food on the table, kids to and from school, clothes on their backs, property insurance paid, car payment due, mortgage/rents on time and have a little left over for the rainy day fund and Christmas, do not have time to weed through the noise of spin and lies.
Put it in 5-minute news brief or a 90-second TikTok video and educate the working masses!
Team Trump relied on the Marxist predilection for predictability and signed EO’s on day one that countered this move. Again, the DS seem to think that their opponents are mirror images of their political puppets, obsessed with short-term responses and policies driven by focus group popularity contests. Bad move, that once again belies their claims of any ‘superior intellect’.
With the DS franchise operations in Iran, Gaza and soon Ukraine terminated, or severely curtailed, the turrets of the Administration can now fully train their guns on the domestic economy, which is showing signs of recovery already. As I keep on saying, Team Trump’s strategy for the Mid-Terms was to not focus on them the way that their opponent’s did, and by exploiting their obsession with the political aspects of policy, how it looks over how it works in practice, means that Team Trump avoid most of the carefully laid DS minefields.
People such as PDJT are results – oriented, the politicos are process – oriented.
There’s going to have to be some really effective messaging on the “affordability” narrative to survive the midterms.
The population is extremely uninformed and easily led into illogic and irrationality.
