I have been asked repeatedly to discuss or share opinion on the Emerald Robinson group consisting of General Michael Flynn, Patrick Byrne and others. I have intentionally ignored those requests because everything around the group itself has always been sketchy, especially Patrick Byrne. {SEE HERE and SEE HERE}
Previously Patrick Byrne claimed he worked for the FBI in part of the operation to dirty up President Trump in the 2016 election cycle. Accepting Byrne’s claims, not in detail – but rather the big picture, the sketchy part was always why would anyone trust what he says against the background of his admissions of willful association with such an endeavor.
That said, everything around Mr. Byrne was just, well, sketchy; as an outcome anything around the associations of Mr Byrne carried that same sketch. As grandpa always said, “hang around a one-legged friend long enough, and you’re gonna start limping.” Today, Mr Byrne said he has been working for the CIA all along. WATCH (Prompted):
I have no idea if Patrick Byrne is actually working for the CIA; however, if true that admission should only create an even larger FULL STOP warning toward anyone and everything associated. Just walk away from it all, because if there is a factual CIA involvement in the ongoing issues of the team, an interested person is walking into a hall of mirrors.
It appears the current storyline that has drawn the admission (again, if true – which is sketchy) then Flynn Inc is providing conspiracy fuel for the Q-adherents. That would explain some of the tribal responses toward the Byrne/Flynn activity.
Within the claims of Byrne there is a seemingly open admission that his group has been trying to send information into the office of Tulsi Gabbard, with both some success and some pushback. Perhaps this is the “firehose of noise” that led to a prior request for assistance.
Bottom Line: Everything in/around Patrick Byrne seems increasingly sketchy and unstable. Proceed with caution, absorb it through the entertainment prism, or like CTH, compartmentalize it, but mostly ignore it.

My recollection is Flynn accepted money from Turkey to lobby for them and hid it. Not sure if there is anything else.

He didn’t register personally as a foreign agent, but his lawyers registered his business (which I think was called Flynn Consulting or something like that) and everyone thought that was what was supposed to be done. Apparently that was incorrect; he was supposed to have registered himself personally as well as the business, which even his lawyers did not know.
The same lawyers then represented him badly in the criminal case when the Mueller investigation came after him and his son, using this technical violation to flip them to testify against Trump, which he did not do. Later the DOJ reviewed the Mueller investigation and tried to withdraw the guilty plea, but the insane DC judge wouldn’t let them do it. The lawyers were busy trying to cover their own asses for malpractice; if he pled guilty, then they would not be guilty of malpractice. So his own lawyers, who were supposed to be representing him and his son against the DOJ, talked him into a guilty plea.
Yeah, bad lawyers. And they bled him dry, leaving him no longer able to defend himself.
And all his work for Turkey was in Turkey. FARA was created for lobbyists working in DC. I know of no lobbying done.
There are lots of fuzzy lines that were stretched to the limits to hunt Trump people. Nobody realized that many things would require registering as foreign agents for these things because nobody had to do so before ‘Get Trump’.
I would also point out that while the special counsel never got to the point to use him against Trump, they did require that he testify against many others. Nobody important on the get Trump hit list, but it was still required of him.
Flynn was on Warroom a week or so ago. I recall he was volunteering to help Trump as an emissary or something. He seemed sincere, of course. Lawfare tried to destroy Flynn though, which gives him some credibilty, imo.

Yes, Patrick’s tales of personal stories seem to come out of Hollywood fiction. But his accounts of interaction with the Deep State seem very much in line with the nature of Deep State described even here on CTH. What gives him credence for me is his considerable sacrifice of net worth and personal effort to discover and expose what is happening to our country from within and outside of our borders. Flynn is a patriot through and through, that cannot be argued. Flynn has seen by virtue of where he knows to look as much and probably more than Sundance has seen. SD, call it sketchy, and I don’t blame you, but keep a close eye on them for a while.
Patriots do not ‘forget’ to tell the President about strong influence from a foreign government when becoming the NSA.
