The air time I’ve seen of Aftyn Behn has been very negative, in particular showing the police dragging her screaming out of the governors office. I did see a report saying the republican in a solid red district is only ahead 8 points.

Also, republicans have a long history (nationwide) of low voter turnout except in isolated circumstances, like Trump ’16, ’20, ’24. Sitting at home seems to be more their style and then complaining afterwards about the direction of the country. If a person votes, you can complain. If you don’t vote, you surrender your platform.

Still, I miss PTrump’s rallies, where in addition to his own candidacy, he was often able to heavily promote MAGA candidates who did get elected thanks to him. I still think that Too Big To Rig is one analog way to tip the scales in our favor, and motivate our side to get off the couch and make a difference. Sad that Dems have no problem getting people to the polls. We have to stop being so passive.

The story gets even more unbelievable from there. Pérez-Bravo was involved in a fatal accident that killed a 68-year-old grandfather and injured his 9-year-old granddaughter. He was cleared of wrongdoing but the family filed a wrongful death suit against Kluver, whose name was on the fake license Pérez-Bravo provided at the scene.
The police eventually found Pérez-Bravo and he has been charged for his crimes. Nonetheless, the NYT report paints him as just as much a sympathetic victim as Kluver, describing him as a family man and hard worker who essentially had no choice but to steal an identity so he could make money for his family.
“Two Men. One Identity. They Both Paid the Price,” the headline reads. The article says the illegal’s crime was “borrowing” identities — not stealing them, not wreaking havoc on the innocent, unwitting people who had committed no crime except apparently being born in the United States.
It’s an infuriating story and a reminder of just how many negative impacts there are of illegal immigration. According to the NYT, at least ONE MILLION illegals are working under stolen SSNs. How many people like Kluver are paying the price?

The ‘fortified election’ is still being investigated and could force changes in the current free-for all system of voting if the evidence is presented.
Lawfare has only provided a series of speed bumps to the Trump agenda with ever decreasing returns, as each abuse overturned adds to a growing series of precedents that limit their scope for further disruption.
Solution: Start talking about the mid-terms in suitably apocalyptic turns, conveniently stressing the Democrat talking points whilst doing so, with polls now suggesting that the Democrats are ahead and support is rising.
Just as the campaign of dissent was largely a creation of the DS ‘brains’-trust and promoted by the MSM/Democrat complex, this UniParty backed attempt to claim defeat, before the actual elections, is the cut from the same cloth, a close weave of deception, exaggeration and sheer mendacity. A week is a long time in politics, a year is a geological age, yes, momentum is important but so are the simple facts which challenge the perception being built.
The DNC had to take out a $15 million loan because it is so cash strapped, as DOGE led investigations stripped out numerous covert funding streams. The loss of the Ukraine laundromatic will further reduce room for any further manoeuvres relying on financial support, and their billionaire base is very much aware of the consequences of losing a compromised government shield.
The Democrats are involved in the first stages of a civil war, with the socialist wing rapidly gaining momentum and openly challenging the Old Guard. Socialism might appeal to the legions of brainwashed youth but that’s because it’s only a concept pushed by their educational minders and bought influencers, Mamdani and his cohort will make it a reality and then we’ll see how popular it is in reality. Time is the enemy of those who wish to deceive and dissemble as much as those who want to build and reconstruct.
Nothing should be taken for granted, but that warning also applies to those calling the race now, in fact a good litmus test is to make a record of those doomsayers, who only want ; to ‘face reality’, ‘pop the bubble’, or ‘resist the echo chamber’ and treat their prophecies with the caution they deserve.
Secondly, resisting these attempts is not enough, people have got to actively challenge the manufactured narrative and those who wittingly, or otherwise, spread it. This is not a call for ideological unity, MAGA is after all a political composite, or a witch-hunt against non-conformism, that has virtually destroyed the intellectual base of modern leftism, but simply a call for vigilance and the importance of a positive outlook. As SD frequently exhorts us to, ‘live our best lives’, which for me does not include wasting it on worrying about a supposed pre-ordained future, full of despair, lost opportunity and destruction of the Republic.

I am from NH and registered as an Independent until the 2016 Presidential election.
Growing up in a State where Republican Governors are common but passive. The Democrat Governors are just as confusing with pro gun stances until they become Senators.
I see what is going on today and have to wonder, why Republicans’ can’t stand winning and why Democrats’ can’t stand losing?

I’m with you in that in my life I’ve been busy working.
I think where we went wrong is that we thought people in government were governing, maybe sometimes not all that well or effectively, but they were on the job at least trying to look out for the common good.
It turns out we thought wrong.
We didn’t see the interests of big money finance/banking, multinationals, and power hungry politicians merged to gain control of the amazingly rich entity we call our country, and that this conglomerate was guided by and encouraged by British and European globalists whose intend is to own the world.
Before President Trump, where we went wrong is we believed we elected and paid for a government. In reality, the deep state globalist fueled and power crazed politicians have been busy gaining ownership of the country to benefit themselves and their masters.
Where we are now is President Trump trying to right those wrongs. Some of us are still so naive about who we’re fighting that, in the words of one of us, “we hired him to do a job,” and why hasn’t he already fixed things….
Many of us still don’t get it that we’re in a war and every single one of us, including President Trump, is considered to be an enemy combatant. The Geneva conventions do not apply. They will do anything to achieve their goal, which is total control.
Looked at this way, the Republican Congress is continuing to do an excellent job. Once you understand they don’t work for us,, everything is clear.
What amazes me is how President Trump keeps showing up every day to give them the fight of their lives. He’s a genius, for sure, and no one could work harder, but his ability to endure is off the charts.
Now we have to level up our participation because his strength is in our numbers. He can’t do it all himself.
