The House version of the Thomas Massie ‘pay attention to me bill’ telling the DOJ to release the information about Jeffrey Epstein, unless it contains material related to national security of investigations, has now passed the Senate by unanimous consent and will now head to President Trump’s desk for his signature.
Trump will sign it, the Epstein ‘shiny thing’ law will go into effect, and the politicians will continue arguing about it and trying to attack the White House because they put the perpetual argument component into THE BILL:
The bill is only six pages. I suggest you read it.
As you can see from the highlighted qualifiers above, those of you who enjoy the bread and circus distractions provided by the DC UniParty apparatus, will have at least another year to follow this story. Have fun with it.
Meanwhile, Congress cannot find time to codify any executive orders that might save taxpayer money, secure the border, protect elections, tighten up immigration laws or expel criminal aliens….
…. But thanks to Ron DeSantis’s biggest supporter, Thomas Massie, you’ll always have Epstein.

where are all the victims speaking out?
no matter what they put out, there will always be questions of validity. it is now a bullshit issue.
Always was a salacious issue.
It is exactly a bullshit issue. The “law” is written in a manner to waste time and resources at DOJ.
The whole operation is designed to tie up more of whatever resources are left at Bondi’s DOJ that are not already tied up defending every decision The President (The Executive Branch) makes from the 100’s of lawsuits filed by the Lawfare scumbags.
They want to ensure The DOJ is more paralyzed than it already is. If there was any chance of reforming the place, if that were even a miniscule possibility under Bondi, this ends that cold.
Having worked in government most of my work life, it doesn’t take very much time or effort to RIF sections or say “ you’re fired”. Reform is not difficult at all. Simple restructuring. That’s not the reason they don’t do it.
Many of the victims received cash settlement awards, and signed non-disclosure agreements in order to receive the money and so are legally restricted from speaking out or they will have to repay the money they received from the settlement.
This is why there are no victims speaking out.
And is also why we now enter the circus part of this game, because congressmembers can say anything they want including naming the guilty and – the victims – from the floor of the House and this allows the victims “to speak out” without risking their money settlement but at the same time, in fact, will re-victimize them due to the new public scrutiny, which will be brutal.
These congressmembers could care less about the damage they will do to the victims, and will justify their sick behavior by claiming they are defenders of transparency.
Enjoy the show. Maybe a few scalps will be had. Between this circus and the Joos circus the battle lines for destroying the entire MAGA, MAHA coalition that puts Americans first, is on its way to the dust bin where the Tea Party resides.
I will not be watching, but do realize many will.
In the meantime, hope most will stop being the audience and start vetting local, county, state, federal candidates so that we might actually have a chance to save what’s left of this constitutional republic.
And “We’ll always have Paris.”
For all the beer and gin joints in the world, passing a BS law about Epstein does not amount to a hill of beans.
Speaker Johnson:
How the Flaws of H.R. 4405 Could Revictimize Epstein’s Victims,
Create New Victims, and Damage the Judicial System
https://www.speaker.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/2025.11.18-Flaws-with-HR-4405.pdf
Meaning NDA’s are worthless.
Johnson said he knew it was flawed, advanced passage anyway, and expected the Senate to make corrections/improvements.
The Senate passed it apparently with little debate. So now we have to live with another piece of bad legislation.
The “right” disclosure of Epstein information is in the trials for pedophilia, espionage, and money laundering that the DOJ shuld be rooting out of the documents and sending to a Grand Jury.
Read the text as SD suggests. Personal info on victims as well as intel info is in the category of “prohibited withholdings.”
That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m saying that the public trials for real felonies should be the discolsure mechanism, not vetted Congressional or Departmental faux data dumps.
Who needs a court of law when we have a court of public opinion for CONgressional blowhards to milk? As Sundance points out there is no time to legislate President Trump’s top MAGA priorities to cement his Executive Orders beyond 2028.
Not one CONgress critter feels any need to call for a one day recess -not once within two terms of office (!) -so PT can finally appoint his own cabinet??
It’s all smoke and mirrors. Enjoy your bread and circuses.
I’m just as cynical as the next Treeper. I simply continue to advocate for the most likely chance of success. It doesn’t mean I think it will ever happen (see below on my comments on Comey’s imminent dismissal… resetting the prosecution counter back to zero.)
I agree with you that the entire matter belongs in a court of law.
The Senate never improves anything unless it is to improve their own grift or power.
This is why Clay Higgins voted against the bill. I’m glad he did. He has a pair.
It’s going to get very “Hoaxy” for sure.
Complete garbage. But at least it exposed the two rascals on the Republican side. Messy and Marjorie “Trailor” Blue.
“Meanwhile congress cannot find time to codify any executive orders that might save taxpayer money, secure the border, protect elections, tighten up immigration laws or expel criminal aliens….”
What has Congress really accomplished?
Congress just gave themselves the perfect excuse for not passing a comprehensive Annual Spending Bill for 2026. Once again, the White House will be constrained to operating under Continuing Resolutions.
Not much!
And with only 19 days left on the Senate Calendar for 2025 (if they actually work on Fridays, which they usually don’t) I don’t see a whole lot of meaningful legislation being passed for the rest of this year.
Do they ever: work out pass meaningful legislation?
I heard a rumor that they did, but haven’t found anyone that knows exactly what it was or to verify it! <grins>
“Meanwhile congress cannot find time to codify any executive orders that might save taxpayer money, secure the border, protect elections, tighten up immigration laws or expel criminal aliens….”
Thomas Massie predicted a standing budget would not be completed by House ML Johnson
Everyone wants to talk about uniparty, but are still in denial that the House and Senate leadership are uniparty
So many words, a lot of frustration. A complete waste of time and our money. A Tabloid were forced to pay for in more ways than one.
I went back to look at the Epstein Indictment from 2019 by the Trump Adm DOJ. It looks like they were trying to go back to the original case to bring charges. It might have corrected the 2007 injustice to the victims by the plea deal if prosecution was carried out (Epstein still living).
I’m just wondering why the DOJ revisited it in 2019 (after 14 years)? I wonder if Trump asked them to? Or, they just felt safe to bring the case since there was a Republican President?

July 2019 indictment:
Jeffrey Epstein Charged In Manhattan Federal Court With Sex Trafficking Of Minors
Excerpt:
The indictment unsealed today alleges that, between 2002 through 2005, EPSTEIN sexually exploited and abused dozens of underage girls by enticing them to engage in sex acts with him in exchange for money.
https://www.justice.gov/usao-sdny/pr/jeffrey-epstein-charged-manhattan-federal-court-sex-trafficking-minors
Or do they feel safe because the string-pullers have had all this time to remove some info and inject other info?
That’s very hoaxy.
Exactly. The never ending rumors will be hidden behind the veil of Protecting National Security.
All 535 are corrupt CrapWeasels.
If House leadership wanted to end this Bill from passage all they had to do was add verbiage to open Congress’s sexual harassment slush fund records for public display
It was also during the 1st Trump Adm that the DOJ OPR (Office of Professional Responsibility) did a review of the handling of the 2007 case and plea deal. This was 13 years after that case decision. The review likely came up due to media reporting that exposed the sweatheart plea deal.
But still, it was the Trump Adm DOJ that had the OPR review the plea deal decision. Doesn’t sound to me like Trump was trying to protect any bad guys from anything. His DOJ revisited the decision and also indicted Epstein.
—
The OPR report concluded:
“The Department of Justice review concluded that Acosta’s decision fell within the “scope of his authority” and investigators “did not find evidence that his decision was based on corruption or other impermissible considerations, such as Epstein’s wealth, status, or associations.”….
….The review said by failing to inform victims of the Justice Department’s charging decision, Acosta “left victims uninformed about an important proceeding that resolved the federal investigation, an investigation about which the USAO had communicated with victims for months. It also ultimately created the misimpression that the Department intentionally sought to silence the victims.”
A federal court judge previously found that the Justice Department violated a crime victims’ rights law by failing to inform them of the non-prosecution deal. That decision was overturned earlier this year by a federal appeals court where one of the judges on the panel called the matter “a tale of national disgrace.”

Maybe the renewed interest in Epstein in 2019 was designed by embedded Democrats in the DOJ to “get Trump” before the 2020 election?
And being dummies the girls said, “Sure, why not?”
There are no “girls.” The grooming and sex work took place over several decades. Just ask the old dame in prison who attended Chelsea’s wedding.
And Epstein is dead, supposedly. Just like Osama.
They are grown women now who already cut deals with prosecutors and settled their cases years ago.
Why beat a dead horse?
And the victims’ plea deals are sealed, NDAs signed, and so on.
The irony here is that all this time, the Uniparty Congress (both wings) has been pointing its fingers at Trump, saying Trump is holding the information back. But then they write and pass legislation to make the information public (with caveats buried within the six pages); they just showed everyone paying attention that they, the Uniparty Congress, could have done this at any time in the past 15 years. By this, I mean political bloviating for the sake of distractions and headlines; nothing more will be released due to plea deals, NDAs, and the like. And they know this…oh, and of course, things will be deemed a National Security issue.
And the other benefit- they don’t have the time to deal with rogue judges, working on true appropriations bills, and codifying Trump’s EOs, not to mention election security. While Trump works on issues important to the electorate with success, the Uniparty works hard at getting people ot focus on squirrels.
True enough.
The names revealed, *redacted*, *redacted*, *redacted*, *redacted*, *redacted*, *Trump*, *redacted*, *redacted*, *redacted*, *redacted*, *redacted*
Both sides of government sure hides a lot behind the “ in the interest of National Security “ .
Yup, including our God-given rights under the Constitution.
“Protect/defend our democracy” means protect the Democrat Party.
“In the interest of national security” means the information brought up is at least embarrassing to the Uniparty/Deep State.
If I was in the DOJ, I would go through all the Epstein records, and ensure that the information I published included the names of these political clowns that continued to push for ‘transparency.
Fortunately, we have Fox News Personality Pam Bondi as Attorney General.
She knows how to operate a printer, and an eyebrow pencil.
“Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.
Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?
Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?”
545 Politicians vs. 300,000,000 People

Classic example of the Hegelian dialectic.

“10 (3) Flight logs or travel records, including but
11 not limited to manifests, itineraries, pilot records,
12 and customs or immigration documentation, for any
13 aircraft, vessel, or vehicle owned, operated, or used
14 by Jeffrey Epstein or any related entity. ” —
I found it interesting that real estate property was not listed.
Other than that…Yeah, a big shiny thing with a lot of loopholes.
Yeah, and I think the flight log info and some of the other things on that list were already turned over to Congress back in August.
So….will the inclusion of any CON-gressperson or Senator’s name included in the SHINY THING be considered….a matter of NATIONAL SECURITY…and therefore….the SHINY THING doesn’t get released ??
What I get from this is that just about all of them are expecting to have their own names “redacted”, and their butts covered, while being able to simultaneously point fingers at everyone else. Too late they’ll realize that it’s just a trap.
If the AG has the authority to redact anything that might relate to national security issues, isn’t that an admission that Epstein was connected to either the US or some other country’s intelligence services? Is anyone interested in which intelligence services that might be and what he did for them? It seems like a reasonable question to me.
Don’t worry Congress will get to the bottom of this by holding closed door hearings and then sealing the records for 50 years.
Espionage was the goal; seduction was the means.
Both parts of it are horrible parts of this sordid story, but what happened to control powerful people and the outcome on the entire American population as a result is at least as bad as the abuse to the young victims.
They deserve justice, and sometimes that justice comes in the way of exposing the truth. But we also deserve justice, because Epstein wasn’t running a brothel… he was running an op.
If your intent was to lose the majority in the midterms, what would you do differently? Nothing.
Not coincidentally that is the very same basket of nothing that CONgress has achieved for all of PDJT’s 5 years in office.
If you give us the Senate, and we’ll (blah, blah, blah).
Then if you give us the House, and we’ll (blah, blah, blah).
Then if you give us the White House, we’ll (blah, blah, blah).
When POTUS Trump took office in 2016, we all know what happened in the Republican-controlled Congress. AFter 45,000 failed repeals of ObamaCare, not a single repeal measure was offered up by Paul Ryan. No budget was passed. Every attempt to stymie POTUS and his policies and his Departments was enacted. No legislation of substance was passed in those 2 years, no investigations concluded, etc.
And they lost control of the Congress as a result.
And now we are seeing the same thing.
Explaining what they’re doing & forcing them to win is our only option.
Meme madness for the next year.
I am waiting for the next tranche of GOP House member retirement announcements to arrive a la 2018.
So sick of hearing Epstein story that nothing to proud of country,
Yes, this and Mandami; every freaking day…
Look ! Squirrel!
If the vote is 434 to 1, you know what is happening.
Yes, unanimous cover-up.
The lone Republican dissenter did so on the grounds of “protecting the privacy of the innocent”. He had nothing to worry about, because no such names, or any names, will ever be released – excepted those in the Uniparty who need to be destroyed.
the 1 is a real squirrel and the others are just nuts?
Basically, national security provides the cover for possible illegal activity.
Sorry. I meant to say provides cover for sources and methods.
The only sources and methods I can think of would be the cooperation between globalist intel networks to compromise and control U.S. elected officials. This tells me Congress has already seen the key documents and agreed to protect the intel network behind Epstein.
They can get this done in 72 hours but they can’t pass a budget in 16 years.
Last actual federal budget passed through regular order/the appropriations process was in late September 2007.
“…those of you who enjoy the bread and circus distractions provided by the DC UniParty apparatus…”
In other words, the avid CTH readers, with CTH relaying a steady stream of such distractions.
No other words.
Sundance reports and analyzes the actions of the UniParty™️ CrapWeasels. We discuss his reports and analysis.
Why are you here? Besides trying to throw shade on Sundance.
Any time someone says “Nothing to see here, move along” is when I really crank up the focus.
When President Trump and Sundance both agree on that point, don’t you think their respective analyses carry more weight? When does all the second guessing stop?
CONgress will investigate itself and its spooks. Yeah, sure.
No one carries more weight in my life than me.
Too much life experience
That might change if I ever observe either Trump or Sundance walk on water.
‘This country has come to feel the same when Congress is in session as when the baby gets hold of a hammer.’
Will Rogers
That’s what Paul Pelosi said.
Certain people are never going to be satisfied about this issue. I stopped caring about it when I saw the democrats, who NEVER cared about it, started using it as a cudgel. While they cry about “affordability” they do nothing about it.
There is only one question about Epstein that I want answered and it is the one nobody ever asks…
“Where did all of his money come from?”
Another question I haven’t seen either raised or answered: Where were the parents or legal guardians of the underaged girls? I’d read years ago that young girls from third world countries were sold to Epstein because the parents needed the money, but what about American-born girls? Were these runaways / strays? Did anyone care about them, even notice they were missing? My own kids are now in their late forties, but I can vividly remember how much I worried if they came home an hour late.
Another question:
Did Buffet Bandit Barr kill Epstein or put him in Witness Relocation?
EXACTLY!!! I say this all the time…. Where the hell were the Moms/Dads/Uncles/Cousins et al.
Maybe it’s just me, but I am not that interested cuz as usual, will only get an iota of truth IMO.
We can’t hate the worthless Congress enough.
Father God, please deliver us from the inane political games these fools in the UniParty are playing.
Please continue to bless President Trump and his efforts to restore liberty, justice and prosperity in America.
Please restore righteousness in our nation and draw us as a people back to you.
I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
Yes and Amen!
Amen! I’m saving your ‘cut to chase’ prayer for my daily one to the good Lord. Thank you.
Here we go again with law enforcement’s ubiquitous “methods and sources” dodge. Seeing it play out here and with Kash and Bongino’s “I know nothing” pose on Thomas Crooks, President Trump’s bad-aim, would-be assassin.
The hosing down of the roof at Butler is the perfect description of the 21st century federal department of justice.
This smells like another coverup operation. Meanwhile all the boiling issues that need immediate attention continue to fester.
Ok, so at Sundance’s suggestion, I just read the Epstein Shiny Thing bill. I see nothing compelling the release of grand jury testimony by the courts. So my guess is we’ll get 3 more tears of stories about how that is where the dirt on Trump has been buried.
That’s correct, Congress can’t agree on any actions that will help save this country.
Maybe it’s time to realize that NOTHING meaningful that Trump is trying to accomplished is EVER going to get done.
As soon as the next auto pen President gets inserted in the Oval Office everything will be swept away
It is a distraction which Trump could have prevented from Day 1 by fulfilling his promise and not hiring mistakes to lead DoJ/FBI.
Comey’s case is going to get dismissed, sending the counter of lawful prosecutions back to ZERO.
And it will likely stay there until Democrats retake the Administration and start prosecuting their enemies in earnest once again.
Gosh, will the Dems hire Hollywood producers and directors to orchestrate their actions in the subsequent hearings? What is Spielberg doing these days? Still alive?
Well, they did use the services of a former ABC (fake) News producer to script the J6 Commission teledrama.
This is just what i have been saying. Pussyfooting around with NONSENSE. No wonder nothing ever gets done in Congress.
Yes, the same Congress that can’t even censure Plaskett for texting with Epstein during a hearing.
Our founding fathers would have run this Congress out of the country …
The entire Uni-Party is in exponential GRIFT MODE now, most don’t comprehend we’re INSOLVENT, we may or may not make it to $50 Trillion in DEBT by the end of Trump’s 2nd term. That being said, it’s all Kabuki Theater, get your money out of ISDA Banks, get some physical silver/gold……Have a plan for FOOD, this is the reality of the system, plan accordingly. 2008 they needed $750 Billion to supposedly save CAPITALISM, hahahahahahaha, they’ll need a QUADRILLION with all the BAD BETS that are now going south……Financial instruments so complex and convoluted no one can explain them, Wall Street takes the financial victories, then puts their losses on the TAXPAYER, this time, NO MAS! We’re flat busted!
Epstein is/was always a distraction while they GRIFT………
Washington Times: They knew Epstein was guilty and stuck with him. Except Trump
Ace of Spades HQ:
“… Of course, the Epstein emails do contain frequent mentions of Trump — as his mortal enemy, who he believed was behind his arrest for trafficking.
York again:
The Democrat-Media Party has a Hot Take on Epstein’s hatred of– not friendship with, hatred of — Trump.
That take? “If even Jeffrey Epstein (the notorious liar, note) says that Trump is bad, then Trump must be very, very bad.”
They seem incapable of understanding that if Epstein hated Trump, and considered him the worst man on the planet, and also had information about Trump engaging in criminal activity with underaged women, then of course he would have leaked that information.
Therefore: Epstein had no such information about Trump.
The media which thinks it is so smart that it is the only institution in the world capable of reading information and drawing conclusions for it still can’t wrap its stunted little brain around that conclusion.
Instead, we get this: “Leave aside” the question of whether there’s any evidence Trump was a client of Epstein. Just look at how many times he’s “in” Epstein’s emails!
As York points out: Yes, he’s mentioned by Epstein, as an enemy.
But unlike dozens of Democrats, there are no emails in which Trump speaks with Epstein.” …….
Another cya for congress who, by my opinion, would be the most hurt by the actual releasing of the file. Dare I repeat they are the wrong in DC for the most part?
‘Redacted’ must be shaking in his boots.
If Sundance had taught us nothing else, we know that whichever “silo” owns whatever piece of information that might exist in the files, each “silo” Will claim some sort of national security in refusing to release it.
This appears as an effort by the CONgress critters to discredit the Trump administration by claiming Trump is preventing the release of information. Whether the information is accurate or even actually exists is irrelevant.
If Congress isn’t passing laws to fortify Trump’s existing EOs, who can we say is to blame for that other than the leadership?
Why would releasing any info about this savage jeopardize national security? This leaves more questions than it answers.
Trump caused all of these issues himself. It’s an own goal that he refuses to admit to. Sadly, partisanship blinds people. Trump came in shouting from the rooftops about Epstein, and then he gets into office and changes his tune.
When asked about it, he says “Are you still talking about Epstein”? ….Umm, yeah?
Just like we are talking about Kennedy, RFK, and more.
People don’t want to admit that Trump has changed. Why would anything in these files jeopardize national security if Jeffy boy wasn’t an asset of multiple foreign nations?
Jeffrey Epstein Helped Israel Sell a Surveillance State to Côte d’Ivoire:

Everyone is focused on the “Shiny Things” with the sex allegations, blackmail and the like.
To me, Mike Benz (@MikeBenzcyber on X) makes a lot more sense than anything else. Yes, the underage sex stuff is abhorrent, but if you “follow the money” as we are always told to do, Benz makes the point(s) that Epstein was a high-finance facilitator between governments, CIA and other intelligence agencies.
Blackmail and sex scandals don’t account for everything that went on or Epstein’s wealth. This is a 2 hour video, but if you watch the first 15 or 20 minutes of it, Benz makes an excellent case for something much more dark and covert happening between Epstein and big money.

Epstein helped facilitate tricky meeting$ by providing juice for face to face meetings.
Benz makes an excellent case for something much more dark and covert happening between Epstein (and others) and big money – over several decades.
Where are Bill Barrs’ Nov. -Dec. 2020 emails, text messages, notes etc. and those from 6 years ago (before and after Ep died)
As someone who ws abused i want them all charged and jailed for a lifetime and i dont care who ‘they’ are, i support anyone fight for the files to be released and dont care what their politial reasons are. From Supreme Court , DJT down everyone in DC is blackmailable due to AIPAC and sexual deviations.
Can’t agree more , blow this all up. I wish the President would get on Tv and online and just expose it all.
Open up the secret payoff info, the pedo info, the drug abuse info.
No doubt it all is at a much higher level than real America.
And for God’s sake, stop protecting republicans! They are the problem even more than the dems. We need the Patriot party fast!
Please don’t use God’s name in vain.
We need Him now more than ever.
Thank you.
Regarding the issue of protecting national intelligence , I’m over it . Release every little crumb . I am very anti CIA.
Republicans are trying to loose the mid terms on purpose.
That is their Business Model.
Yawn.
Isn’t this exactly what we’ve come to expect out of the UniParty.
Anything that passes Congress unanimously is guaranteed to be meaningless or detrimental to the American people. You don’t need AI to figure that out.
President Trump talks about how Epstein is distracting from the great accomplishments of his administration.
He should also talk about Epstein distracting from the congress’s failure to pass a promised budget. When we get to January and this CR is renewed (because everyone almost died in the last shutdown) we will hear all about how they are still hiding things about Epstein.
He should be talking about each individual in congress that has failed, stolen from, profited from and sold out the American people !!
