Maine’s Supreme Court will adjudicate a lesser court judge’s ruling that a non custodial parent (in this case, the father) can prevent his 13 year old daughter by her Christian mother from pursuing and strengthening her own Christian faith…
A few quotes from the ruling by this atheist, abhorrent judge…
The custodial mother “is a fit parent EXCEPT for the fact that she is a Christian.”
“Ava [the 13 year old daughter] cannot have any contact or participation with ANY religious organization (which would include Salvation Army or a food bank, homeless shelter, or crisis pregnancy center).”
“Ava cannot read the Bible or religious literature or be exposed to any ‘religious philosophy’.”
“Ava cannot attend ANY Christmas, Easter, or any other Christian event or celebration at ANY church, including any wedding, funeral, or even hospital visits with anyone associated with Calvary Church. ”
This judge also refused to capitalize “God” in his ruling.
One wonders what this repellent, godless member of the America’s judiciary took an oath; if so, upon what did he place his hand; and finally, whether he swore “so help me God”…
There are other evil restrictions; but here I must stop, because I am on the verge of tears for this child…
