Impeachment and removal by 2/3 of the Senate is the only Constitutional remedy. Good luck with that, especially with a Republican President. Moreover, being unqualified/ignorant/politically biased probably does not reach the level of a high crime. It’s pretty normal in DC!
Unless I’m wrong, and it happens often, one does not have to be a Judge or a lawyer to be a supreme court justice. A nominee must simply exhibit exceptional judgement, that said….she doesn’t qualify and demonstrates a willingness to confirm this every time she speaks.

if ANY official, regardless of constitutional title, commits a felony, a conviction, perhaps even the indictment itself could be sufficient to expel. it’s an extraordinary measure…but these are times that require it.

No there is nothing strange in the wording of the ruling. It is the same wording as in 100’s of similar case still pending, where the LOCAL FEDERAL Judge or Magistrate issued a stay in advance of the hearing.
Justice Jackson-Brown is the supervisor of the 1st District Court, which includes the RI Sub-District Court. As supervisor, it was part of her job to refer case from lower courts to the higher Court if necessary. She made a made a mistake by not forcing President Trump’s legal team to go all the way through the 1st Federal District Court or at least force them to take the extra step of requesting a direct hearing by the Supreme Court. Chief Justice Roberts accepting the case is interesting as he normally sides on … “the full process must be followed.”
The stay the Supreme Court set aside until 13 November on SNAP Payments referred to the injunction originally put in place by the Federal Judge in RI, who also issues a stay in advance of the actual Hearing in his court room.
The Supreme Court set aside the Stay, which allows President Trump to continue his actions as well as delays any further on the on the stay until after Congress Votes.
The actual CASE and SUIT are still ACTIVE until any further actions on or after 13 November. Active meaning:
The CASE being heard in the RI Federal Court.
The CASE being appealed in the RI Court.
The CASE being appealed again before the 1st District Court … possibly twice.
The CASE possibly being heard in the Supreme Court.
ALL Hearings involving any further stays.
ALL Appeals for any steps the lawfare Team looses.
This is how lawfare works .. it chews up time no matter the outcome of the CASE involving in the issue at hand.
As stated, there are NOW 100’s of lawfare Cases in District and Sub-District Federal Courts awaiting hearing dates, which are similar to this one. Removal of Stay or even Granting a Stay is not the same as FINDING or VERDICT. This is what comes of the Supreme Court not performing its oversight and supervisory duties and Congress not reining in the Federal Courts from supporting the lawfare actions.

Note that Justice Jackson is the Supervisor of the Lower Federal Courts in RI and Mass, which are part of the First Federal District Court.
It will be interesting if she denies the stay from these courts next time.
The outcome would have been the same but would have added time for extra steps to undo her refusal to pass on the request for stay. Just my skepticism … but her snide opinion is a signal to the courts she represents on her likely ruling for the next lawfare attack the courts she supervises perpetrate.
