Additionally, true to form, I thought the Repub Party did little to support their VA candidates. A couple days before the election I began to receive repeated text messages from Dem Party reps to vote the Dem slate. The messages were sourced from multiple areas in the state.
I moved out of the state years ago. Did not receive such text messages in previous VA elections.
I heard on that radio show that took over Rush’s spot that Republican turnout was really poor, way down from the 2024 turnout for President Trump. I guess if these people trash President Trump, I would be tempted to stay home too. And I usually never miss any election.

I question the validity of the election results. The mail in ballots have envelopes with holes that can show whether the ballot within has a vote for or against the proposition. If the ballot is placed in the envelope in the normal way one puts a letter in an envelope, with the bubble vote facing the flap, right side up, the filled bubble can be seen through of the holes. All one has to do one such a completed envelope is tap the end of the envelope so that the ballot slides to the bottom right of it. If the filled in bubble appears at the top of the hole, it is a vote “no.” If the bubble appears at the bottom of the hole it is a vote “yes.” My cousin sent me his ballot and I tried it. I determined how the ballot was voted if it was inserted in the envelope in this fashion. So, the persons retrieving the mail-in ballots can screen them for no votes and shred those ballots and envelopes. You combine this with the ballot harvesting ops depicted in “2000 Mules,” and you will have a totally rigged and fraudulent election. Plus, there are likely about 1 million illegals and non-resident aliens registered to vote in Commiefornia. They mostly would happily sell their unexecuted ballots to the harvesters. So, the media claims that this is all a hoax conspiracy is bunk.

Another viewpoint – while money is involved, it ignores the basic reality of the voter makeup in the states in question and some of the tactics used (like the machines not working in select precincts and the “bomb threats” at some of them.
You’re going to see a lot of fake narrative stories about what decided tonight’s elections, both here on X and in the media. But I’m the only one who is going to tell you the truth because it’s esoteric, ugly and unsexy.
It was money. Despite controlling the WH, the US Senate, the US House, and (in VA), all three statewide offices, our candidates got outspent not by percentages but by multiples.
According to most recent figures, Sears got outspent by Spanberger $36m to $83m. The downballots were far worse.
In one competitive House of Delegates race, Lovejoy raised $344k and his D opponent raised $1.6m.
All the other problems people are complaining about here, even if they were all resolved, wouldn’t solve this. There’s not a whole lot a campaign can do when this is what they’re facing — and it doesn’t even account for the c3 moneys which have an even greater disparity.
The question is WHY did this happen? How do we fix it so it doesn’t happen again? It is INEXCUSABLE.

Wow you nailed it. I live in Ct. so listen to WABC radio. Weeks ago they started the manipulation narrative of “the lesser of two evils” to try to get Cuomo in. I was aghast. Cuomo is equally evil to Mamdami in a different way. It was a dreadful decision to push Cuomo and was not going to work.

Oh yes indeed, it will spill out and infect more than NYC in the coming years. As it works its way ‘out’, it’ll encounter more and more resistance initially. So, just like the ‘impending doom’ of killer bees from SA that’s been ongoing since the 50s, it’ll probably hit a level of resistance at some radii from the epicenter and the spread will pause, but probably only for a while until the left manages to create/import more socialists via the public school system. With the bees, its been the unfriendliness of the colder climes as they try to push north… and dilution amongst domestic bees (from what I gather, just trying to extend the metaphor here).
With these socialist morons, we can’t depend on climate and dilution to solve/stave-off the spread though. You’d think the current ‘SNAP-crisis’ would show these people the folly of depending on the gov’t for their existence. Maybe it’ll sink in for some, one can hope.
I don’t have a suggested ‘quick/sure-fix’ if you’re asking me that. I don’t think there is one (quick/sure). Schools are one such arena that needs to be addressed… root out the leftists that infect them. Vote in all local elections. Too many people don’t vote in the local races. I’m not guilt-free, I rarely voted in them when I was younger… I blame myself for my part in the decay of schools as a result.
In case you’ve been wondering, the results of the elections yesterday are proof positive that societies (nations/states/cities, etc) can become too stupid to survive. The nation took a giant lurch towards extinction yesterday, and though there is still time to reclaim it, I fear that by and large, we no longer possess the intestinal fortitude that is required to stop its demise.
It is above my pay grade but, somehow our election system has to become a reliable trust worthy system. Mail in and months long isn’t working. Maybe go Nuke and require paper, ID, proof of citizen.
