All the mainstream outlets will now need to credit one or more of those credentialed outlets every time they source and republish material from Pentagon briefings. All the mainstream’s viewers/readers will be seeing the bylines and names of all those conservative outlets. Bubbles might be popped.
I doubt that they will ever credit any of the approved outlets, they don’t believe they are worthy. Instead, they will ignore the reporting of the approved outlets and there will be an increase of fabricated stories from “anonymous sources inside the Pentagon.” These are people who are devoid of shame. It’s easier to lie than to credit a competitor.
