The Reno, Nevada area local news channel online sites reports: CBS simply says “thousands” showed up for the event, NBC affiliate only mentions “thousands nationwide” showed up and the ABC affiliate reports “Soros funding the event” with not a single mention of anything in the Reno area.

When they had the last no kings protest, I noticed that the start times in the surrounding towns cities were all far enough apart for the organizers to get to another location. I don’t doubt they also took a van or two of the protesters with them to beef up their tiny numbers.
A group of about 30 marched downtown then a very small group stayed on the street corner waving signs. Guessing the others were paid to make the circuits.

Probably the best and most accurate summary of the decades-long war against Israel I’ve ever seen. Yep, fired up our grill for some Hatch Green Chili burgers today. Got mine roasted right in front of the store but alas, roasters have been put away until next year so using what’s in my freezer. Love southeast New Mexico, lots of Trump flags around here and the No Kings protesters stood for about two hours in front of the courthouse. Mostly white people but a probably had around 50-70. I was actually quite surprised.

Captured by the Japanese, the Tang sailors joined other submariners and flyers – including Louis Zamperini and “Pappy” Boyington – at a “torture camp” whose purpose was to gain vital information from inmates and otherwise let them die from malnutrition, disease, and abuse.
A special target was Captain O’Kane after the Japanese learned of the headlines about the Tang. Against all odds, when the camp was liberated in August 1945, O’Kane, at only 90 pounds, still lived. The following January, Richard O’Kane limped into the White House where President Truman bestowed him with the Medal of Honor.

Three weeks ago or so we were in a small town in Maine, which apparently had been taken over by Taxachsusetts Communists, i.e. aging, pathetic, drug-addled hippies who still think they are in the SDS or that the Yippies of Jerry Rubin (q.v.) are still relevant over at the Fading Pines Nursing Home.
There was some sort of “Climate Sensibility” protest going on at a pier, and by the post office about two handfuls of such Polident-using, septuagenarian Totalitarians were waving “NO KINGS” signs and “END TRUMP AND HIS FASCIST REGIME” banners.
I wanted to stop and ask why they were allowed to wave banners on a street corner and chant idiocy through bullhorns, if we were in fact suffering under a “Fascist Regime.”
Because any REAL “Fascist Regime” would have sent them to slave-labor camps in North Dakota or Alaska, or just beheaded them for treason!
The excellent lady, with whom I was traveling, and than whose opinions none are wiser, demurred, however, and so I drove by with a thumbs down. 🙂

My family is starting to voice about things like the BIllions going to Agrentina, who cares is blue cities are filled with crime, prices are getting higher, ICE arresting wrong people, why are we taxing Canada – they are our friends, etc. They are saying things like, “We voted for America first, lower prices, and an overall better country.”

Sure they are. The way you explained all those things sure isn’t complete or correct or with context. Maybe these friends who supposedly voted for Trump, need to be directed to the complete and honest and detailed information on those issues.
The Argentina credit swap was to provide them with enough US Dollars to be able to buy things denominated in US Dollars. Ultimately, this is to our benefit because we want to export stuff.
We are probably about to do the same thing with S Korea. They can’t buy American imports if they don’t have US Dollars to pay for them. If they sell their own currency and use that to buy the Dollars, they end up debasing their currency and weakening it as against the USD, so they can’t do that sustainably.
The currency swap solves that problem.

Thank you. Unfortunately, most people don’t take the time to read, research and understand these things. I do and I do my very best to explain…but, it’s not easy. Sorry just sharing my situation. When my 61 year old husband that has been a yellow dog republican for his entire life is having full on meltdowns about the economy and prices still high and getting higher, probably members of congress making money because they knew about the currency swap, the courts (even Trump appointed judges) not allowing his clean up in cities like Portland, Chicago, etc.
I do. I’m here nearly everyday reading and understanding what is really going on. Like I said, just venting.
I’m also bothered that prices aren’t coming down and that President Trump seems to believe they are.
One thing you can tell your husband is that it’s complicated and communication about all the issues is complex. President Trump made a point about oil coming down, so the next logical shift is we start to see lower prices, at least in some areas.
Another point to make is that while President Trump is very busy, he’s not stupid. If prices don’t come down soon, he will notice.
Your husband may not realize it, but this country was in big trouble when President Trump took over. He’s doing the equivalent of bringing it back from the dead.
Finally, if he were my husband, I’d ask him if he can think of anyone who would do a better job.

I went over to a friend’s house today. My friend and I were sitting outside on her front porch. The neighbors who live across the street walked over and asked us if we were going to the No Kings protest in Wilmington. My friend either pretended to not know or really did not know about the protest. She asked what it was about. After they explained she said no I am not going. The old guy asked me if I would be interested in going. I looked at my friend, and she knew I was about to mock these people to their faces. First, I said can I carry a sign that reads No Kings Only Queens. They looked at me with a puzzled look. I guess it went over their heads. Then I said I do not understand the logic behind a No Kings protest when the Democrat party anointed Kamala Harris as their presidential candidate. My friend said to her neighbors This is my friend Karen. They said goodbye and me and my fiend got into my car, headed west to Lancaster and spent the day at an orchard picking apples and a few pumpkins.

I remember when President Kennedy was assassinated. My parents and most adults around were staunch Republicans, but they were all horrified by what had happened to our president. They grieved and mourned with the rest of the nation.
I remember watching TV all week, and I can’t remember any of the kind of partisanship we’re seeing.
These people, these actions, these sentiments, are so off the charts of civilized society. We watched it get ramped up under the Kenyan, I have no idea how to reverse our societal degradation, or even if it can be reversed.
But that guy is sick!
It starts at the top and is constantly egged on by politicians and covered up by the media. Couple that with people who are constantly bombarded with Orwellian nonsense and loaded up with psychotic drugs and you are going to get some of the insane acting out.
The fact that the politicians and media do not call out the behavior and vociferously condemn statements like the above shows that they WANT it to happen.
I remember the same. There was no partisanship about the assassination, it was a tragedy to all Americans. That date, 11/22/1963, was really the end of the era of a united America. After that, the Dimwit party went full-on leftist crazy. Before that, Americanism was bipartisan, but after that, American values were only espoused by the Right.
