I watched one segment of the famous Chicago Council meetings where a bunch of Black Chicago residents, who figured out that the Democrat party hates them, were railing against them for their immigration replacement policies. One woman was a restaurant owner and pointed out all the rules,regulations, and taxes her family pays for a brick & mortar site and Illegal invaders can just pop up in a parking lot or sidewalk/street with a food truck/trailer/grill and serve food without any of the regulations and taxes she pays.
Where I live, the past 2 years, food trucks/trailers/carts/grills have popped up everywhere selling flowers, snowcones, and Mexican/Latin food. The past 6 months has seen a huge increase in numbers.
Have food poisonings increased? Asking for a friend?
I wouldn’t go near them as where do they wash their hands? I cannot believe how fast and many have sprung up in the one general area of the city. I saw one at a banking ATM on a corner of a intersection that is all by itself next to a cemetery. You would have to be stupid to purchase food from them.
They are on almost every corner here in San Antonio. Most are probably as clean as the restaurants. Lol
I do think most I have seen have a sink with running water. I’ve only been to a couple of them. But this city sure loves their food trucks. Very popular here. I rarely eat out (I choose to spend my money on organic groceries instead) so I am not sure how many are bad or good. They always have customers, though.

I saw a posting on page 1 that Bill Kristol has joined the movement supporting No Kings protests on October 18.
And, I just saw a video posted on X with Obama fanning the flame that our current government is increasingly totalitarian domestically and destroying relations with our allies with strong arm policies.
Hollywood is also adding their support with Robert DeNero supporting No Kings protest.
I’m pretty positive the noise level about No Kings will be ramping up all next week with leftist governors, mayors and media talking about ICE, Trump, government shutdown, and anything they can to blame President Trump and his administration becoming totalitarian and dictatorial- we are
losing our Democracy to a dictator.

It seems to me that the flu vaccine was a test run for the Covid vaccine being accepted just like the flu vaccine in that they said, well, it may not PREVENT you from getting the flu but IF you do get the flu, it won’t be as bad.

President Trump’s clawback operation started with D.O.G.E. in the spring and picked up speed in the June/July timeframe.
The pipeline still has funds in it but the party knows that the funds are going out much faster than they are coming in.
Expect to see more democrat incumbents dropping out of the 2026 elections as the word spreads about the lack of funds.

Every one can ask for a jury in a criminal trial. Generally you also get one in a lawsuit too. This is how James screwed Trump. NY has a consumer protection law that does not use a jury only a judge. That makes sense as an injured individual going up against a huge corporation with lots of lawyers would have no chance in a jury trial. In a bank loan the borrower is the consumer. James sued Trump in Consumer protection court to only have a judge and found a partisan judge that even pronounced Trump guilty before the trial. In other words James sued the consumer in consumer protection court. The suit should have been in Commercial court but she knew she had zero chance of winning there. Only one judge in the appeals court of three brought up this misuse of the law. It just shows how corrupt NY has become.
I don’t think she can be charged with mortgage fraud yet, as she hasn’t paid the loan off. I believe you have to go by the rules to get the loan and then pay the loan off and all sides be satisfied in order to be investigated and charged with MF. But I could be mistaken.
No when she signed the closing and accepted the money is when the crime was committed. You can’t wait 15, 20 or 30 years to prosecute.

So the Democrats are now saying the government shutdown will go on indefinitely, until the GOP agrees to fund health care for illegal aliens.

Layoff notices were sent to about 4,200 employees across eight government agencies, the Office of Management and Budget said in court documents in response to a lawsuit filed by the American Federation of Government Employees, the largest federal employee union, which represents 800,000 workers.
Nearly 1,500 Treasury Department employees were laid off, according to OMB, including about 1,300 workers at the IRS, Bloomberg reported.
The Health and Human Services Department was also among the agencies hit hardest, with OMB reporting layoffs of up to 1,200 employees.
Dozens of employees at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention received termination notices Friday, including about 70 Epidemic Intelligence Service officers, known as “disease detectives,” and staff at the Morbidity and Morality Weekly Report publication, The New York Times reported.
