I watched Candace Owens’ podcast yesterday. The only mention of D’Sousa was her showing this tweet of his and wondering why his mind would go THERE. She didn’t say anything about him before that. The thing about this person named Josh Hammer that she shared yesterday was him retweeting an old Donald Trump tweet from the year 2013 where he was advocating for public executions. This Hamer guy posted this retweet out of the blue, with no context given, on the night of September 9. The very next day, his friend,Charlie Kirk, was killed.
Is there a connection? Who knows?
I can’t believe people keep forgetting what was going on in the days prior to Charlie’s death. I guess it’s just the news cycle.
Iryna Zarutska was BRUTALLY murdered by a crazed maniac on a train in NC. It was on video, we all watched her die. Charlie Kirk posted a photo of her look up at her murderer. The image is haunting, to say the least.
Many, including me, were talking about public executions in those days. The killer was ON VIDEO. Why would he get a lengthy trial, and a long stay in prison before death?
Candace Owens makes shit up. Period. She’s done it before. She tried to claim Kamala Harris’s grandmother wasn’t really her grandmother. She claimed there were documents that proved it. I am a professional genealogist. I have researched and written four books that are in libraries all over the U.S., and in the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. I researched the documents, birth, marriage, and death records Candace claimed were Kamala’s grandmother. Candace was LYING. FLAT-OUT LYING. The records were for two different people, but Owens swore up and down they were the same person. Eventually she dropped the story, when it stopped being an attention and money source.
Because that’s what Candace is doing, seeking attention and money. But once I prove someone is a liar, I am done listening forever. Because I can’t research word she says to find the actual truth.
I watched her podcast yesterday. She had a timeline of this person’s tweets. He had been tweeting about that murder around September 5 and 6. Then nothing about it. If this tweet was about that killing, it was not put in that context.

Bull. Candace was shooting holes in Kamala’s book and hit on many things that proved Kamala made things up. She questioned things like the grandmother story based on many things. Any time she was proven wrong about something she always acknowledged it and apologized unlike the mainstream media who lie within the same paragraph of their stories.
Same with Charlie Kirk. She has simply said she will not willingly go along with FBI’s wrapped up story when so much has not been revealed. With the FBI track record, none of us should want anything less than that as well.

I had never listened to her outside of interviews prior to any of this, and so far, her view is more plausible on the situation than those who are fighting with her. It is getting out of hand on both sides of “whatever the issue is..” Debates are crazed and hyperbolic, rather than rational. I think it is by design to keep heightened emotions of readers and listeners always in the ON position.
Sadly, this has affected my personal life and relationships … any topic whatsoever to do with President Trump, no matter how innocent or no matter how you even try to not say anything controversial, and people yell, scream, or otherwise have a meltdown, and you realize that you need to beware of these people and back away, love them from a distance, and pray. Once, all it took was me saying the words “uncertain economy” and the other person went ballistic.
There has been one bright spot, one exception recently. A priest who was giving a sermon about how allegedly, abstract art is bad. After church, I approached him, introduced myself as an abstract painter, and explained that not all abstract art is the same. He was gracious enough to ask me to email him a sample of my work to take a look at, so I sent him a photo of an abstract painting containing Christian symbols and imagery … and next time I saw him, he was sincerely appreciative of the artwork and mentioned that he was using it to help him ponder, reflect, and meditate as he prayed (sort of like an icon I suppose). So there still are people who are open to different points of view.

Candace was right in that Ben Shapiro shouldn’t have fired her for openly expressing her Christianity. However, she’s a lot like me in that she’s a very emotional and hot-tempered person. I’ve had to learn there are shades of grey and not to go black-and-white on my opinions about people. And especially not to jump to conclusions without absolute proof. You will discredit yourself, and then you can never walk it back. It’s taken me years to get the emotional maturity to do that. But, most importantly, to remember that the Lord says “Vengeance is mine,” and to let God worry about other people who’ve wronged me.

I believe that is indicative of very severe insecurities that often lead to narcissism. Never ever trust someone who *needs* attention. They will do anything to get it and consider you the problem.

I have been closely following politics for a over a decade now and I have had to almost completely tune out these last few months. The levels of insanity freely circulating in the atmosphere is off the charts. We are definitely through the looking glass at this point. I check in here at the Treehouse and scan headlines on a few sites and that’s about all I can handle. My prayers to those staying in the daily fight, it’s all I can do to maintain sanity these days!
For sure! There’s a conservative website that lists news headlines, and while I like to think of myself as intelligent (at least halfway intelligent?) … recently, I’ve had to reread some of the headlines twice and still don’t understand what I’m reading. (Yes, I check to see whether the souce is “The Babylon Bee” or “Not the Bee” … (or “to be or not to be” * grin *).) At that point, I shrug my shoulders, move on, and figure that if it’s important, Sundance or some other knowledgeable Treeper will post a good, in-depth explanation here at the Treehouse.
The Babylon Bee has never impressed me; it lost its sting long ago.
I think they’re still doing great satire. They always come up with real laughs pretty much every day.
But the world is so nuts at the moment that even the best satirist is hard put to frame it for real comedy.

Remember we are all God’s children. It is far more important for each of us to use our own critical thinking skills to avoid false prophets. If we strive to find truth and reject Satan then we will find God and where we find God we will find love, peace and happiness in abundance. This is our mission in this world.
I also consider it the mission of Christians to teach the Word of God through our own example. Preach it, yes, but nothing is as convincing as when we desire to practice what we preach.

I have a problem with people hating on Candace Owens. I don’t know her track record on being wrong but she has survived a lot of challenges to her claims about MANY things and it looks like she took down the Macron regime though the likely transsexual wife.
I think the majority of people think there are many VERY strange things about the events surrounding the Charlie Kirk assassination. Anyone who dismisses those details and just want to see this one guy put to death while they are clearly witholding LOTS of evidence. EASY example: They have “some guy” on the roof, but they don’t have “some guy” taking position and pulling the trigger???? SAME CAMERA and it wouldn’t be “disturbing” and would certainly help the case. … and lots more.
