A Supreme Court justice can only be removed through the impeachment process which begins with a member of the House of Representatives introducing articles of impeachment. A simple majority in the House is required to impeach the justice. The impeachment process then moves to the Senate, where a trial is held. Afterwards it requires 2/3 of the Senate to vote for impeachment. So unfortunately we are stuck with Justice word salad Jackson. Now if she commits or has committed a crime then she can be impeached, but the process is the same.
Give her the same security Trump had in Penn.
The ‘impeachment’ route for removal is not in the Constitution. The Constitutional standard is that judges/justices can only serve during “good behavior”. “Bad behavior” or even just “not good behavior” is a much lower standard. than high crimes and misdemeanors for presidential removal.
Judges get seated with just Presidential nomination and majority Senate approval. Removal should not require more stringent standard than the initial seating. Good behavior certainly requires following the Constitution and laws in an unbiased honest, transarent, respectful way.
IMHO, the President with just a majority of the Senate should be enough to remove Justices for “not good (judicial) behavior. Thune should give it a try.

On a positive note, Justice Thomas has said recently (paraphrased) that “precedent” should not slap the cuffs on SC rulings now. So there is a small hope there that the ruling (through a complete misreading of the Constitution) that God, as the Cornerstone of our Republic, be removed from our schools will be reversed at some point. Soonest would be ideal.

These ALL give “legal resident status” to the immigrants of any type and visitors so covered …. and … gives them LEGAL access to State and Municipality benefits and welfare entitlements manged-controlled LOCALLY by the States and Municipalities (i.e. Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, SNAP, etc.). Those benefits and entitlements are SUBSIDIZED by US FEDERAL GOVERNMENT GRANT Funds, which are controlled by the States where these people live.
It also gives them access to a DRIVERS LICENSE and STATE ID, which also auto registers them to VOTE … i.e. ADDS another Ballot to the pool of CONTROLLED Ballots. Hence the reason States resist having their voter rolls cleansed.
By the way these same Legal Resident designations .. would defeat a victory in removal of Anchor Baby Citizenship.
Technically speaking ALL those immigrants let into the country and who illegally entered before 20 January 2025 were given LEGAL RESIDENT Status during the Biden and Obama Administrations.
Recall, even the Roberts lead Supreme Court would not allow President Trump to undo the Obama EO that created the DACA’s. This recent victory to remove “temporary status” is something of a surprise.
Ponder on this a while … and it is the reason President Trump’s Team has to focus on the actual Criminal Activity. (i.e. These people are technically NOT ILLEGAL Residents.) Thus the focus on criminal activity which violates or negates the terms of their legal resident status.
Some of these were created by Congress … and then there’s the make-it-up-as-you-go statuses proffered by the Divider-in-Chief and by the Corpse-in-Installed-Office.

She is a great writer and speaker and a very highly educated woman and will be a great Supreme Court Justice for at least the next five hundred years. It may not actually be that long, but I can assure you that it will seem like it’s that long, if not longer. Ketanji Brown Jackson graduated maximum cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1996. None of these “wins” will matter if Roberts and ACB go squishy and side with the three Leftist Loons on the Birthright Citizenship case! I believe Justice Thomas was signaling that it is well past time to start pushing back on “stare decisis” in cases where the prior decisions were clearly wrong! The plain meaning of the 14th Amendment has been twisted for decades to mean something other than what it meant and we need SCOTUS to address that, and correct the record, once and for all!
