Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This term, he is weeding them out faster. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 257 of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

RUSSIAN FROZEN ASSETS SCAM
1) The EU loans Ukraine Russia’s money of roughly $200 billion.
The EU gives the money as a “reparations loan” to Ukraine, which Kyiv only repays when Moscow compensates it for war damage.
2) The EU replaces the Russian assets with an IOU note, promising to repay Russia. But due to the sanctions the EU can’t repay Russia, hence the loan will not be repaid.
3) If Russia wants the sanctions to be lifted, it has to pay Ukraine reparations.
Which Ukraine can use to repay the loan, which then can be used to repay Russia.
Then the sanctions can be lifted, as the loan is repaid and Russian frozen assets are back in place.
Essentially it means if Russia gives Ukraine $500 billion, $200 billion will come back.
4) But this means that all previous loans, that are taken using Russian assets as collateral, which are paid by the interest of the assets, need to be paid by Europe now. Everything loaned before needs to be paid by Europe, since the interest of Russian assets will be gone.
-> This is just a legal scheme and I don’t think countries like Saudi Arabia are watching this and feel good about keeping money in Europe.
Key takeaway, previous loans are now paid by European taxpayer, though it was promised they will not be. Also Europe finally destroys its financial credibility.

Seeing all the vitriol for Candace coming from both sides of the aisle, when my cousin sent me her podcast about the Kirk assassination I decided to listen. Without knowing her funding, other than her advertisers, I’d say she makes a compelling case. If she isn’t taking bribes from Qatar or some other country, then she seems more believable than D’souza.

“The U.S. has not constructed a major petroleum refinery since 1977, even as fuel demand and domestic oil production have increased.” The last major oil refinery built in the United States was constructed in 1976, the Marathon refinery in Louisiana, which began refining operations in 1977. Environmental regulations, would take 15+ years to get approval if approved (?), have ended the building of new major refineries, that needs to change President Trump!!! JMO
The reality that we do not have a major refinery for our American produced oil and must resort to importing northern tar sands and Mexican sludge for what capacity we do have is one of the most insane things there is – all due to the great hoaxes of our time.
As a side note – the 15+ years number, as I remember (could be wrong) is the time to build and recover the cost of the construction, not just construction time by itself. Considering what the future likely holds, anyone with enough foresight and grit might have a gold mine if they started soon.
An issue possibly even larger than the current regulatory situation is the lack of long term certainty required for such an endeavor. One could start building one, even running one, than suddenly with a single election it could all be for naught.

Even now, with President Trump’s policy of “Drill, Baby, Drill, our drillers are still limited by many states and those same states are still refusing to permit new refining facilities to be constructed…

It’s not just the government workers, though. That’s what people are missing.
The economic effects could spill over into the broader economy. Past shutdowns saw reduced demand for goods and services that pushed down the GDP, but that reversed once people returned to work. This is different. You could be talking about a million+ people permanently let go. That is going to impact local businesses, etc.
Both voting blocs – Dems and Republicans – will be impacted mightily from this, and not in a good way.

I am born and raised in the swamp.. You are 100% correct. When there were recessions we would hear about on the news, it never really felt any different to us. The only time it got a little “difficult” to find a job was during the financial crisis of 2008 and it lasted until around 2011ish. Other than that, these people don’t know what a recession really is.

Stopping that cold turkey will be huge hit to GDP.
So will firing the government workers that are a drag on the real economy.
With all of the “data centers” and “computing centers” being built, most of the government paper and coffee cup pushers aren’t needed. That is aside from the cold, hard reality that the current federal government is about 10x the size it should be and a majority of it is involved in things the Constitution never gave authority for.

I’ll give you credit that this post sounds less like a bot than your usual. But it’s stupid.
Fed gubmint “employees” have been gloating since WWII how much they get paid, how many holiday and vacation days they get, and how very little work they actually do. My SO is from just outside the DC area; she heard that all the time growing up there. Get rid of as many as can be gotten rid of. Most are lackluster performers that would not last very long in the private sector.
I worked in the private sector the majority of my career, and also in the public sector. The private sector isn’t perfect; the 80-20 rule applies everywhere. The public sector is much, much worse. 90-10, or 95-5? From what I have personally seen and experienced, except for (most of) the military, most first responders and LE, and most of those that do physical work, at least 75% of all gubmint workers at all levels should be gone. No one would notice.
It’s not just the fed government…
I lived and worked in Tallahassee for 26 years, and, in my line of work, had reason to enter several of the State buildings from time to time…
My favorite was the Florida Department of Revenue where, upon entering I would see 30 to 40 state employees, at least half of which were slumped over sleeping at their desks, several of them “coloring” in color books, several others doing crossword puzzles, playing a game of cards, etc…
Government is not the solution to our problems. Government is our problem.

The hurricane season. I have AccuWeather daily as a sort of activity in my school classes. Just following it for weather in our area and around. Interesting film snips of dust devils maybe an impressive lightning strike, fall colors, etc.
Regarding hurricane season. Literally, 2 hurricanes have just this week gone northeast away from the US. They were so hopeful one would do something. Practically, begging for it to come. And as far as it looks, now there is no activity anywhere. They are now talking about winter.
For hurricane “damage”, they are reduced to showing drone footage of houses on NC “literal” beach (built basically between high and low tides) collapsing into the water.
Sorry if people here who might be in this situation, but I do hope these houses not insured. It looks like a probable million dollar house where kids would make sand castles. When even your back “yard” can’t have grass….you have made a wrong choice.
But I think they have big sads how weak the season is. Trump cancells green energy boondoggles and the hurricane season (at least for now) is probably the weakest ever. They will be resorting to naming afternoon showers soon to get the “named” storms up.
