As a conscientious observer here. I’ve seen some of them posting comments here at times, an some going by the same name as they’ve used on other sites, they always come in as a group, to try an make themselves look good, they condone an support one another with likes and comments, and to sew nothing but contention, then they leave.
It’s overly apparent if you’ve paying any attention to the events as they’re unfolding. You have to have a linear memory to have noticed and recognized it happening. Hindsight is always 20 20.

Vance may be VP but his experience is actually pretty thin. He was a Senator for just barely over a year and a half when he was tapped to be VP. He’ll be barely 45 by the time 2028 rolls around.
His main claim to fame is a book turned into a movie and his backing by the techbros.
Both Rubio and Tulsi have far more experience and are the current stars of this administration outside of President Trump himself.
I wouldn’t count Vance out yet, he’s got about two-and-half more years to grow before 2028 campaigning gets serious, but he’s got an uphill climb in my perspective if Rubio makes a run (Tulsi is too recent a formal convert for President, but might be a VP contender if the RINO wing has been sufficiently neutered by then).

Also, corporate farms love to buy into these schemes, as that’s more money for them with less capital resource outflow.

My sense is he was given an agenda and that agenda did not include his usual style of freewheeling. I respect the freewheeling JD a whole lot more than what I just watched, because then I know he’s being honest.

I was somewhat disappointed by Vance’s remarks. He didn’t carry through strongly on Trump’s “negotiating points”.
I was looking for something along the lines of “Lookit. In a shutdown, we fund only the most crucial services. Ordinarily, non-essential personnel go on furlough. That’s akin to a vacation. But since we are looking to cut govrnment waste, we’re not inclined to play that game, and for those who are not essential, this time they may see a termination of employment.”
Meanwhile, Dem Congressers are sending out emails containing these misleading talking points:
“Lets be clear: there was nothing clean about a funding bill that continued to gut healthcare and burden working families with even higher costs.
“Congressional Republicans had an easy choice: come back to D.C. and negotiate a bipartisan budget that helped working families and lifted up our country, or continue their current path. They chose the latter, shutting down the government and causing even more pain for the American people.
