Israel Update:
Thank you my friends from the bottom of my heart for all the compliments and asking me to keep going! My little detour and wonder if I should stay on this platform had a surprising value for me. I saw how great friends you all are and friendship is high on my values list. I have decided to stay here with my updates. Not as a “favor” but as a duty in the good sense of it.
Of course I do have red lines but I don’t feel that Sundance have crossed them.
So I am going to get back to what you want, the Israel Updates and not the controversial aspects of the haters. I will mention on it when it is a news and will respond if it crosses the lines. One of you mentioned that even a few who are open could make a difference. I hope that you’re those few and that more will join. Shalom and my God bless you!
I do have one note to make on another subject. The Right and MAGA including me have been silenced on many platforms. I have been kicked out of YouTube more than once. Cancel culture has been weaponized by the Democrats. It is usually the realm of the left.
This makes everyone extra sensitive about Freedom of Speech. Yet when something goes wrong in an area there tends to be a pendulum swing and another form of extreme can arise.
My point is that Freedom of speech is not an ultimate. It is not a defense of the criminal, the Nazi, the inciter for violence or the enemy of your nation. It is a subject for discussion but I will keep it short and move on here.
The Update:
–A Houthi drone made it to Eilat City at the south. 22 injured, 2 badly, 1 moderate and the others lightly. A mention that it was in Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year, a religious timing to ruin our celebrations.
–Gaza :The IDF is operating all over Gaza City. Most of it is kept as the fog of war intentionally. But I see footage of Israeli tanks here and tanks there, places one wouldn’t expect in the City.
This probably won’t mean much for you but the situation is :
Division 162 with three Brigades are at central Gaza City.
Div 98 (Commando) with three Brigades are at the West of Gaza City.
Div 36 with three Brigades are at the South neighborhoods of Gaza City.
Dic 99 at North Gaza , Khan Yunis (South) and Philladelphi Corridor (south by Egypt).
Those Divisions have Infantry, Tanks, Combat Engineers, etc…
Estimated 700,000 Gazans were evacuated from Gaza City. Disputes as to how many are left. Could be another 300,000 or more or 100,000 which enables more action with less collateral damage to civilians. Some Gazans are on video wishing to stay. Anyone remaining will be considered a terrorist. Not now but when the evacuation completes.
I see the reports from the various Brigades. There is a collision here and there with terrorists who get killed. We had a couple of incidents of badly wounded soldiers in combat. I still get the sense that they are saving their forces and letting the IDF move along. They are preparing in tunnels, etc…
I posted a video of terrorists using the Al – Shifa hospital to shoot at the IDF. Then the IDF is blamed of attacking hospitals. Al Shifa by the way was also used to hold Israeli hostages previously.
Hamas released a video of a hostage. Distressed and apparently “losing his eyesight”.
Psychological war. Also other threats with regards to endangering the hostages.
There is a questionable point. Are we getting close to crushing Hamas? As I said before, we shall see. Some say so. But their leaders are fully defiant. They are holding their militant positions.
-We lost a soldier 21 year old from Infantry. Got shot by a sniper in Gaza City. The deeper we will get the bloodier it may be. There are thousands of terrorists in Gaza City. I believe that the determination of the IDF will bring the victory. My prayers for the soldiers.
–Trump met a group of the Arab leaders in NY. A rather long meeting. Turkey, Jordan, Qatar, UAE, Egypt, etc…. As I said, this makes me nervous. Their goal is to save Hamas and we are getting closer to defeating them. Now there are rumors that Trump will declare a ceasefire.
There is a talk about disarming or expelling Hamas and getting the Arab Armies to send troops to police Gaza for three years. If this is the case it is bad. Egypt, Jordan, Turkey etc.. are acting and talking as enemies of Israel, only the IDF can be trusted to control terrorism in Gaza. The Egyptians enabled Hamas to smuggle weapons under their borders for years. They are complicit. Turkey is hosting Hamas and so does Qatar. Jordan are over 60% Palestinians and their hate is obvious. There is a communication from Witkoff of a new plan.
God help us.
A discussion about selling Turkey the F16 and F35 jets. F35 is a danger to Israel. Turkey is now starting to be the replacers of the Shia Axis with Iran. This is the Sunni Axis with Turkey, Qatar, Syria. Egypt is also Sunni.
Bibi is on the way to visit the White House. I pray that Trump will hold his horses and see Bibi before he makes any decisions or declarations. I think it will be OK. I hope. I just watched Bibi talking at the airport in Israel. He did mention that one of his goals is to go over our need to complete all the goals of the war. So I guess it is not obvious after Trump met the Arab leaders.
God has hardened the hearts of our enemies and enables us to complete the job. Hamas is not likely to agree to anything that Trump wants.
Fox News published that Hamas had a partial deal offered. Today Hamas said that it is fake news.
–Iran: Very defiant, insisting on restoring their nuclear sites and missile production. They are about to be hit with massive sanctions. They will take long time to restore the nuclear sites.
They just published a report about Israeli nuclear scientists and sites. Trying to intimidate.
Those are all future problems. As of now they have years till they can restore anything and we hope to see them fall before it.
New report : Head of the IAEA (Nuclear Regulation Agency): Iran increased Uranium enrichment to 90%. Note: This is new. We will see what it means. It could mean another round with Iran. I said that we ended too soon. Trump insisted. We were on a roll and could have completely crush this regime and open the doors for a better Iranian Government.
–Lebanon: The American representative is finally publishing statements that show that Lebanon is not truly dealing with disarming Hezbollah. I have been saying for a long time that they trying to manipulate the US. Deceptive. I am glad that the US is starting to see it.
The other possible solution is the IDF gets to the Litany River in Lebanon and secures the North of Israel from there. Preventing Hezbollah from ever getting back into South Lebanon. But this is something that Trump will need to agree to before it happens.
-Massive Palestinian riots across Italy. Tens of cities. The Progressives with the Islamists joined forces to protest that Italy did not join the West to declare a Palestinian State. Do they really need a reason to riot?
-Trump gave a supportive to Israel speech at the UN.
-Trump met the Syrian President. Ex-Al Qaeda Commander. Ouch!
-Israeli Defense Minister in a sharp warning to the Houthis after the attack in Israel. Expect a response. Israel wants their leader. I don’t know if it’s possible?
-There is a flotilla of yachts from Arab and European nations to “break the blockade”.
Israel sent some drones to scare them in a foolish move. They should all be arrested and the boats confiscated. Israel offered them to come to an Israeli city and their Aid will be delivered to Gaza. Of course they refused. It’s all Propaganda. Eventually our Navy Seals will have to board and take them to be arrested.
-A historic speech of the Syrian Leader in the UN. The arch terrorist in a suit is fooling the West while his forces are attacking minorities, Christians, Allawites, Kurds, etc…
Syria is becoming a Taliban land. Extreme Islam. All the talk of an agreement with Syria is not good for Israel if we leave Syria. The way to demilitarize south Syria by Israel is by an IDF presence. Otherwise we will have Jihadists on our border.
-Israeli Chief of Staff of the IDF in a visit in South Gaza City tells the troops:
“There are nations in the world who are living in a false awareness and are pressuring us instead of Hamas after the awful massacre of our people. On this Jewish New Year we will bring security, defense and victory. This is a war between freedom and oppression, this is a war in which the IDF, our warriors, you, are the line of defense of Israel and the Jewish people but also of all humanity, the free world against terrorism, oppression and brutality.”

I’m grateful to find CURSDAY and CATURDAY gifts for my fellow animal lovers. With all the sorrow and chaos it is getting harder and harder to do.
I’d say that if anyone one wants to gauge the mood of the nation at any one moment, just look at the memes being posted and from which I procur/purloin and post each week’s offerings…the supply is dimonished. So mostly what I’m currently seeing are political ones which aren’t particularly pleasant, and very very few gentle, funny, happy, or appropriate ones for these two special days in the branches. These days it’s like hunting for the Snark, of Lewis Carroll’s imagination.
I’ll call it “the Bucca Paradox”, that name being the one I am known by by all my grands 💕
But in spite of that I will carry on searching….wish me luck for next week!! 😎

My father gave me a framed artistic rendering of Kipling’s “If” as a child.
It hung on my bedroom wall while growing up, just as it had on his.

I sent it to my twin oldest grandsons when they were in high school; and now that these fine young men are at uni, I think it’s time to do so again. A colder world than I grew up in awaits them I fear…they will need all the moral and character sustaining substance they can get 💕
(As I read the final stanza of “Dinah in Heaven” this morning I burst into tears…not many poets’ works have that sort of effect on me. Perhaps it’s the times. Then again it might just be Kipling 😔 )

I have two opinions today:
1) If all politicians who are making decisions on our behalf consulted their consciences and common sense (I know they have both, thanks be to God Almighty who supplies all good things, albeit most politicians ‘good gifts’ are languishing from disuse) and if they simply decided on the side of ‘what is the right thing to do’ instead of making their decisions with a view to doing whatever it takes to stay in power and/or feather their own nests, we would have a country with policies beneficial to all of us.
2) The reason half the country does not understand Donald Trump; hence, hates him, is because he uses common sense and consults conscience and decides policy based on what is the right thing to do. Period. This is so rare in a politician that many people think there is something wrong with it. Certainly, the politicians who do not operate from conscience and common sense feel challenged by Trump; hence their desire to thwart him at every turn rather than to grow up and fly right themselves.

COMMENTARY FOR REVELATION 21
“A new heaven, and new earth: the new Jerusalem where God dwells, and banishes all sorrow from his people. (1-8) Its heavenly origin, glory, and secure defence. (9-21) It’s perfect happiness, as enlightened with the presence of God and the Lamb, and in the free access of multitudes, made holy.” (22-27)
1-8 The new heaven and the new earth will not be separate from each other; the earth of the saints, their glorified, bodies, will be heavenly. The old world, with all its troubles and tumults, will have passed away. There will be no sea; this aptly represents freedom from conflicting passions, temptations, troubles, changes, and alarms; from whatever can divide or interrupt the communion of saints. This new Jerusalem is the church of God in its new and perfect state, the church triumphant. Its blessedness came wholly from God, and depends on him. The presence of God with his people in heaven, will not be interrupt as it is on earth, he will dwell with them continually. All effects of former trouble shall be done away. They have often been in tears, by reason of sin, of affliction, of the calamities of the church; but no signs, no remembrance of former sorrows shall remain. Christ makes all things new. If we are willing and desirous that the gracious Redeemer should make all things new in order hearts and nature, he will make all things new in respect of our situation, till he has brought us to enjoy complete happiness. See the certainty of the promise. God gives his titles, Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, as a pledge for the full performance. WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Have you noticed lately, Lord
I am shaky, unhinged, and floored
At what has just happened to me
I am not as sound as I used to be
My steps are labored I cannot sprint
My mind is sharp my muscles splint

When I was young full of energy I was
My prowess in sport impressive it twas

A cane prevents me from taking flight
A handrail assists in climbing the stairs
Without these aids I could land anywheres
It is manifest madly maturing
How many more years there’s no assuring
But God has made provision for us
No reason to fret or kick up a fuss
He provides us with companions of all sorts
From animals to flowers diamonds and quartz
He turns our attention to things on high
He prompts us to look up into the sky
He sends us smiles and blessings each day
Just not in the ordinary or usual ways
A giggle here and a belly laugh there
From cyber friends on blogs everywhere
So if you are feeling old and less than useful
Remember there is more for you that’s museful
There are babies and kitties and puppies
And there are wokies, pokies and yuppies
There are nitpickers pastors and prophets
There is beauty in nature and soffits
We could be here all day naming the gifts

The year is 2000. Doc is the Director of Occupational Medicine at a local hospital.
Most of the employees are women (nurses), and at any given time, many are pregnant. As you might imagine, The Job offers many opportunities for soreness and injury – twists and sprains, aches and pains.
The OBs were adamant: NO medication was prescribed, OTC remedies were taboo.
It seems ironic: somehow; the babies from 25 years ago, who benefitted from this ‘protection’, now seem to be throwing caution to the wind.
I wonder how the care of pregnant ladies and their babies has changed in 25 years.
