Stephen Miller, Susie Wiles, the Cabinet members and Trump should have all had this at the top of the list when he took office again. It’s been known since George Floyd and Rittiman that there was an underground terror group on the left. Those bricks didn’t ship themselves. What is preventing Trump from creating Criminal Prosecution agencies inside and parallel to existing agency police/enforcement branches? If Dept of Homeland Security has Marshals and ICE, then give them new authority to convene grand juries, indict and try federal law related to the areas they cover.
The concept can be used to break to stranglehold that the DOJ has on the decision to prosecute and gives Trump ability to staff prosecution offices with conservative attorneys.
If it’s okay to have law enforcement outside of FBI/DOJ then let’s make it okay for those areas to have their own Prosecutors.
It’s creating decentralized DOJ and gives opportunity to truly reform it.
Could even go step further get congress to create new courts specifically focused on departmental enforcement and break monopoly of Federal District Judges.
Or if possible, empower state attorney generals to prosecute some federal laws
