Be thankful that God has allowed you to see what is unfolding. Others that remain asleep are not as lucky as you.
Ask yourself in prayer, why you. Why now? Then, think about this daily in your quiet time.
Affirm your spirit and allow this sense of fortunate knowledge to elevate your faith and confidence in a loving and purposeful God. You have the unique gift of discernment. Ultimately, you have been chosen.
Be thankful. Remember, Romans 13:12
Live a positive, affirming, purposeful and incredible life.
Within every battle, challenge and contest we encounter, always remember to be thankful and continue living your best life.
If we have our health, we likely have lots of problems.
If we do not have our health, we only have one problem.
Be thankful for our problems.
Love to all,

I LOVE Biblehub.
I just learned about this site yesterday!
Excellent advice, Sundance!!!
Very timely reminder, thanks.
Wonderful! In a world where people seek control, it’s refreshing to be reminded God is in control and our happiness comes not from control, but yielding…to HIM.
We must deny our names to testify to His.
I must decrease, He must increase. I try my hardest to live in such a way. I certainly fail at times.
Thank you for this, Sundance. We’re living in historic times on several fronts, and a dose of perspective is helpful. Lucky us to be alive at this time to witness the re-entry of God into our great nation, along with President Trump’s robust righting of our once-again mighty ship of state.
🥰
Last month, I woke up in a hotel room with “aching pains across my back” which I first attributed to muscle spasms best treated with Arnica gels. (Hint: ‘Arnica’ actually is a very-remarkable treatment!) However: after noticing soreness in my left arm, and brief nausea which disappeared, and “chills” which likewise disappeared, “I put two-and-two together.” We rushed to a fortunately-very-nearby emergency room. And the rest is history.
Bottom line: One month later, after successful double-bypass surgery, I am now writing to you. But I still look backwards to the date which could well have been the second entry on my death certificate.
“I want to go to Heaven, but I don’t want to go tonight.”
God bless you Mike!
Glad you made the right decision. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Perhaps, this is a reminder. “Yesterday,” we finished a financial seminar, “went to a nice local restaurant for pizza and a glass of beer.” Nothing at all unusual. But: “the very next day, death?!”
My wife was smacked-in-the-face with it. It was an entirely real possibility. And I will always be mindful of how near this always-realilty [has now become].
Life, every single day, is a Gift!
— Thank you all, sincerely, for your blessings.
So glad you are still here!
20+ years in a busy fire department and I saw the result many times of people who decided to “sleep it off” – the last decision they ever made!
Wonderful news and enjoy the extra time you have been blessed with, I enjoy reading most of what you post.
I think it’s also a time for people to reflect that technological advancements, just as money, are amoral
– it’s what we do with them that make them either good or bad.
AI can be used to enslave the masses and create an inescapable security state or it can be used to increase productive and improve the lives of people.
We must remember this we are in a deflationary period: year 2100 population estimates are significantly lower than today’s population across the globe. China will only have about 700 million as they realize the effects of the single child policy.
We must fight to keep bad usage of AI out of our life’s: constant tracking. But, we must embrace the good: AI can help speed processing and tracking of usage of our tax dollars creating efficiency and lowering the cost of overhead.
Sending healing prayers to you Mike!
Sometimes, when God wants to get your attention, he rocks your world. So very glad you’re still here with us and the rest of the “Wolverines”. May God continue to bless you and your family Mike!
So glad you put two and two together! And that you got immediate help.
I keep wondering how Joe Dan Gorman is doing, he went for chest pains, was blown off by one hospital, later went to another that night and ended having major heart surgery.
As he reported in to Branco he is doing well, but 3 bypass surgery takes a while to bounce back.
He needs gas money now more than ever.
I’m only one of his cousins.
whoa!
Reminds me of an experience an uncle had with one hospital.
Went in for chest pains or other. He was pretty much blown off without much of a diagnosis at the time. Unsurprisingly, later cardiac issues claimed his life. Imaging revealed scar tissue from a previous heart attack that the other hospital neglected to investigate.
Without going into too many more details, my extended family had essentially blacklisted this hospital for negligence of this sort over the years.
He’s posting on TruthSocial – good stuff, check it out…
Wishing you a FULL recovery! Prayers for healing! It wasn’t your time to head upward!
Good reminder why discussion of events on TCTH is so different.
Much appreciated.
🙏🏻
Thanks given every day.
Why is it difficult to breathe in an Apple Store?
Chicken dinner for first correct answer 🙂
Because they have Air Pods??
No…That would make it easier.
Only thing I could think of related to Air and Breathing. Oh welL!
Wait, is it because a bunch of smelly leftists tend to hang out there or work there???
<Wait, is it because a bunch of smelly leftists tend to hang out there or work there???>
LOL! That’s true, but unfortunately not the answer 🙂
Thought it had to do with choking. Yep.
Hmmmmm…..because there are no windows? 🤷♀️
WINNER…WINNER!
Oof, can’t believe I missed that!!
Prayer and Fasting for next 48hours. Makes a difference for me. My first time.
Thank you for this! The sun is shining. The birds are singing. The sky is blue. It’s a GREAT DAY!
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”—Joshua 1:9
Psalm 23
“The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.”
God bless you Sundance!
It’s frustrating to see other Christians turn a blind eye to this. Many of them are not keeping up with the rhetoric the Left is spewing. They either think it’s not a real threat and that it will blow over, or believe what the news is saying.
I’m actually angry at them. The majority of the Left doesn’t have families they get along with, and therefore have nothing to really fight for, yet they’re crushing us.
What makes families vulnerable is if someone within resists or speaks up, they risk their family getting targeted too. So they stay quiet and scared, and when push comes to shove you see the famililess Marxists take over without resistance. Those with family falsely believe if they stay quiet, they will be spared. They should be fighting for what is precious to them, and it’s more precious than anything the Left claims to have.
I always was baffled by how the Lenin and Mao could get away with what they did. Not anymore. Many Christians are purely doves without the cunning of a serpent.
I’m sick of it. I try to warn them, but they still think the USA is in the early 2000s.
The ones I know seem to think we are living sometime in the last century. The other day one of them said, “We are a melting pot.” ?!?!?!?!!!!
Exactly. I told one that a girl in the UK had been visited by police over liking a post. She had the audacity to ask “what kind of post?”
It doesn’t matter what kind! Liking, not posting, is not grounds for the police state to jump down your throat. That’s going to be us soon if Trump doesn’t freaking do something about it!
Some of them are a lost cause. I wouldn’t trust them with my life.
Thank you so much for this deeply uplifting post, Sundance. Very timely.
I used to believe that I wanted my last breath to be the one blowing out my 100th birthday candles. Now, I want it to be the one where I am thanking the Lord for letting me be a witness to the miracle of His creation.
Be thankful! “If we have our health, we likely have lots of problems.
If we do not have our health, we only have one problem.“
Thank you Sundance.
Thank you for the kindness.
Don’t let the bad days win.
Thank you, Sundance . . . again!
Well said and advised, Sundance!
If I may add , we need to become/ stay humble. The knowledge we garner here , if not combined with that virtue can unknowingly puff us up. Staying grounded , grateful , prayerful and humble are , oxymoronically, a source of true strength that preserves us a prideful disposition.
Thanks for everything and this site Sundance!!!
Spot on.
Love the pic!
Exactly so. Thank you.
Love to you and yours Sundance…thank you 😘🙏🏻
Breathe deep the gathering gloom
Watch lights fade from every room
Bedsitter people look back and lament
Another day’s useless energy spent
Impassioned lovers wrestle as one;
Lonely man cries for love and has none;
New mother picks up and suckles her son;
Senior citizens wish they were young
Cold-hearted orb that rules the night
Removes the colours from our sight
Red is grey is yellow white
But we decide which is right
And which is an illusion
“But we decide which is right
And which is an illusion”
It’s nice having help with that
Bless you Sundance as you and CTH are a major part of the discernment I possess. God in Jesus is the victim and champion of truth, justice and love. And yes discernment is a gift that helps us find that truth-all a gift from our wondrous God.
Keep up the Godly work of finding and sharing truth Sundance -and entire Tree House gang. I love you all.
Sundance,
Bible Ref, a Great resource. Thank you for what you do.
Godspeed.
Well said, Sundance!
J
Thank you so much. All that you say here is so true.
Great words. I’ve found great peace in decoupling from the outrage machine that is social media. I highly recommend it!
I never made a social media account. I tell my kids I already have more real friends than I can ever handle. I also avoid all the “news” shows yet I know more about current events than all the fake news junkies combined.
Living my best life would be so simple for me if I could just stop worrying about other people, including our President. I know I’ll be okay but the lost sheep are in serious trouble.
When we live our best lives as Christians we set an example, a path for others to follow. This is by far the most meaningful contribution we can ever hope to make in this crazy, mixed up world.
Thank you.
It’s a hard place to be for sure. Especially when you are surrounded by co-workers and family that are total ignorant or seem to have a different relationship with reality.
As a kid that loved watching the clouds during the day and the stars at night, I find myself looking skyward more than I ever have in my life.
Amen 🙏 Being a witness to the miracle unfolding is an honor. I’ve been here since the 1950’s. These are the best days of my life.
Be thankful that God has allowed you to see what is unfolding. Others that remain asleep are not as lucky as you.
Ask yourself in prayer, why you? Why now?
I’ve pondered this myself. I grasp the why now answer, but not the why me, knowing what’s going on. Why not my good, intelligent Christian friend that I had brunch with on Saturday? Why doesn’t she know the truth of what’s really going on?
Why do other Christians in the Bible study ministry we serve in not know what’s going on?
I don’t know the answer. If they know God’s truth, why can’t they connect that truth to the world events? Why me, not them? I don’t know why. It’s a mystery other than God revealed it to me, not them, or they didn’t receive the truth of our world events.
To everything there there is a season, and to everything there is a time.
In this season, it is your time to Know.
It may be that your witness of the Truth may bring those you know, into their season.
And they may yet bring others into their season.
So, keep seeking and keep sharing.
Isn’t it lovely that the Father lets His children help Him in His work.
Oh, Val. Once again, such words of wisdom and encouragement for me. Yes, this makes sense. Wisdom from Ecclesiastes. My season to know.
The sharing is harder, as how does one share what I have learned from Sundance Univ. in simple conversations? One step at a time. I did tackle one issue over that referenced lunch- “no, my friend, you have dual citizenship, and DHS, ICE, etc aren’t going to throw you out of the country.” I couldn’t believe she was actually concerned, and someone told her they could/would do so. I assured her that President Trump was after illegals, not someone like her.
Yes, it is lovely to think He uses us in some of these details, which are very important to my Christian friend.
Have a blessed week! Till next time….
Me again, I want to share this with you.
I was just about to turn off Barry Cunningham’s YT live stream, but I was nudged to listen more, when Barry suddenly posted Sundance’s tweet, which is the premise of this post. He read/discussed SD’s post and went into great detail about the gift of discernment, which he (Barry) absolutely has (SD, too). That is a gift that is so embedded in one’s Spirit that one almost takes for granted they are so gifted. Instead, a person just wonders why others don’t grasp the truth, or see things before one’s eyes, but it goes beyond seeing or understanding. It’s the Spirit who reveals things not revealed to others so even when explained, they don’t really grasp the explanation. It just doesn’t resonate with them.
Sundance said to ponder. You explained the wisdom of Ecc 1:3 and Barry expounded on the gift of discernment as he displayed Sundance’s tweet, which was written here.
The Lord gave me my answer in short order.
I was told by a spiritually mature Christian decades ago that I had this gift. I didn’t ponder it then. Even forgotten it. Not until this revelation today did I grasp the entirety of my question. Some gifts are visible. I have one gift that has matured and I am fully aware of it and regularly give God the glory when others make any reference to it. But this gift has gone unnamed, discussed or pondered for many decades.
Now the sharing you referenced becomes even more meaningful. Sharing the benefit of a gift given by the Holy Spirit blesses both people the reciever and the giver. Thank you for that encouragement.
If you have time, please go to 2 hrs. 19 mins. on Barry’s video to listen to what he had to say about Sundance tweet and his writings.
Other’s reading might listen too.
God used you to be a part of this revelation to me. See you on the other side!

Love this post.
Don forget that we need not fret about what to say, that the Spirit Who gives all wisdom will tell us what to say.
We just need to be willing vessels, always ready to speak the words of the Holy Spirit when called upon to do so.
I will check out that YouTube channel.
Thanks, Dear Friend!
God bless and keep you 😇 !
Amen!
Churchill –
… You cannot tell from appearances how things will go.
Sometimes imagination makes things out far worse than they are; yet without imagination not much can be done.
Those people who are imaginative see many more dangers than perhaps exist; certainly many more than will happen; but then they must also pray to be given that extra courage to carry this far-reaching imagination.
But for everyone, surely, what we have gone through in this period — I am addressing myself to the School — surely from this period of ten months this is the lesson:
never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never-in nothing, great or small, large or petty —
never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense.
Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy. “…
https://www.nationalchurchillmuseum.org/never-give-in-never-never-never.html
My wild at heart devotion begins; Heavenly Father (Papa) Holy Spirit, Jesus; I give everything & everyone to you. It’s a reminder of His sovereignty & He wants us to cast every care onto Him because of His intimate & loving care for us. This is such a good reminder. CTH brings light to the corruption of our politicians, government, & corporations. It would be too heavy a load to carry alone. So thank you Professor for the reminder.
and pray unceasingly
“And my people, upon whom my name is called, being converted, shall make supplication to me, and seek out my face, and do penance for their most wicked ways: then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins and will heal their land. DRB 2 Chronicles 7:14″
Sometimes seeing everything is both a blessing and a curse,,,,but it is an honor to see in such a time as this, thank you Sundance for being a watchman on the wall
Thank you for the reminder.
This is a day Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad… and for those commenters who feel despair/despondence favor St.Pio ..short prayer -Thy will be done on Earth as is in the Heaven…..
Thank you for these words.
Amen.
Yesterday, the 23rd, was the feast of Trumpets.
Yesterday, Trump stood and spoke truth to all the nations.
Coincidence….
I forgot about that!
Ain’t the Lord fun!
Thank you Lord for the air that fills my lungs this morning and that of loved ones. Amen.
It’s been a great summer in NTX, hate to see it go! But we have a very nice start to a TX Fall beginning…. Take time to go outside and soak some up!
Thank you, Sundance. I have been asking the LORD why an 81 y/o lady who is bed ridden and who truly loves HIM is still alive during these difficult times on earth. Your timely response is confirmation of JESUS’ ever presence. HE has told me that HE loves my prayers and my praises. Thank you, again.
Thank you Sundance.
How right you are Sundance, suggesting for us all to just breathe.
Life has been stressful and home has been stressful, with Pa having stage 4 kidney failure, out of the blue and needing surgery.
I was at the grocery store this morning and pulled into the parking spot and noticed a seagull, just standing in the carriage coral. As he began to walk I saw him dragging something next to him and behind him. It took me a second for it to register and realize it was his broken right wing.
I bawled my eyes out. My heart broke and I just kept crying, crying out to heaven.
I called the Animal Control. Went inside the store and got bread and water and put it into a bakery plastic container I got.
I cried all the way home because I had no hope that, that Animal Control guy was dropping that seagull off to the Seagull Hospital for emergency surgery with a top notch Seagull Surgeon. But I knew the bread and water was it’s last meal.
Everything sucks but I know it’s just for right now.
Thy will be done.
Every changes with Prayer.

God gave us such simple lives. We cloud it with worry, fret, desire never stopping to ask ourselves what if we did as we were told God wanted us to do rather than building our own roads. Not worry about health, wealth, or tomorrow. What if…
