Reading this account of macron being stuck in the street this morning in new york made me wonder if it occurred to him why, as hundreds of violent riots take place in france, enforcing the law and keeping order in the streets is a good idea in any country.
I’d venture to say that if he’d found himself on foot in a major city in his own country this morning with a ten man detail, he very likely wouldn’t have walked away in one piece.

I am confused by some of Pres. Trump’s comments on UKR today. Haven’t caught up to the news yet, busy day., so may have this out of context and looking for update.
Did he say he thinks UKR can win back the country? Defeat Russia? NATO should be helping? Am I getting the message wrong here? Is he now openly behind UKR and their war effort? Anyone have an analysis on his comments? I’m trying to understand the shift here on this war. New strategy on ending it perhaps?
