I only caught parts of the Trump RFK announcement yesterday and read parts of it. When we were chatting at work today,( a group of middle of the road repubs and MAGA,) I was kind of surprised at how angry most of these people were about what Pres. Trump said. They claimed he said Tylenol was the cause of autism and they didn’t agree with him nor the way he presented it to the public. I was kind of taken aback at how much this bothered them. One said she knows several families with autistic children and she could not beleive they were basically told their choice to take Tylenol or give it to their children ruined their children’s future and caused the damages. Honestly, I told them that if they listened to the whole thing and also read the reports, the studies say there is probably more than one thing that causes autism and that they are still investigating them. Vaccines being one of those still being looked at.
I guess I missed some things yesterday because these people, who I am around everyday and friends with, who by and large support Pres Trump in most things, were not happy at all. Maybe they felt that because Tylenol use is something millions, including them, gave their kids and themselves and did not have any issues that every one was being targeted unfairly and being made to feel guilty for doing so.
. I don’t know but I think they just misinterpreted what they heard and encouraged them to go watch the announcement again and listen to the whole thing. I’m going to do that too and see what I missed that got them so upset.
To realize & admit the fact the they’ve been gullible & duped by pHARMa (lifelong) is very hard & painful for some people – cognitive dissonance is too uncomfortable & inconvenient so they project the responsibility onto the messenger.
Most people have (mis)placed their deep Trust in pHARMa their entire lives… by swallowing hook, line, & sinker the marketing propaganda and asking Zero questions in their own ultimate best interest.
