Israel Update:
-My condolences for Charlie Kirk’s death. A giant of once in a generation. Prayers for him and his family. May his legacy be of great and real value. I watched parts of the event.
-Britain, France, Portugal, Canada decided to award Hamas and declared a recognition of a Palestinian State. My opinion? It’s between them and God! Not us. We don’t really care.
It does open an opportunity for Israel to respond by declaring Israeli sovereignty over parts of Judea and Samaria (West Bank). There are a few zones, the Jewish zone should be fully recognized as Israeli. Bibi said that he is traveling to the White House and will respond following it. I guess a step like this requires the approval of Trump. Rubio was in Israel days ago and I am sure that it was discussed. But Trump is the decision point.
–Gaza: At my last Update I mentioned that the Israeli Government is prohibiting a full siege on Gaza City which is not agreeable by the Military level and can cost in casualties. I said that this is not confirmed. Yesterday I watched an Interview with the Defense Minister and he was asked about it directly. He said that the water and power will be shut off and there will be a siege.
The delay is that the evacuation is not complete yet. He said that whoever will choose to start will be considered to be Hamas. The evacuation is now estimated to be about 550K people. Some 400K need to join. It does happen slowly.
The IDF is “softening” Gaza city ahead of the maneuver. Our largest tank force Division just moved forward on the outskirts of the City. There are about 100 killed there per day.
Israel has sent in large force of the D9 bulldozers that Biden prevented to send and Trump released. Critical in dealing with explosives. The IDF is deploying large numbers of robotic armored vehicles that are out of service but are used for exploding areas suspected of boobytraps and areas in which the forces will enter. Those are tones of explosives and the booms are heard all the way deep into Israel.
-The terrorist in a suit President of Syria is in a historic visit at NY (the UN).
There are talks with Israel too about some security treaty. Looks some hints that Israel may retreat from Syria and only hold some high spots at the Syrian Hermon mountains. Some agreement to protect the Druze that Israel cares about. remember that some years back he had a 10 million dollars award on his head for being Al Qaeda senior terrorist. The West is being fooled. Will Israel get anything for a withdrawal aside from “the word of a terrorist”?
We shall see. I don’t know all the dynamics but it looks like the US is pushing for a deal.
-Public execution of three alleged collaborator in Gaza. About a hundred “civilians” watched and cheered. This is the nature of the “Palestinian state”. I will save you the video it’s a tough one to watch. They are kicked down and shot. What is concerning is the crowd’s affinity with the Hamas “fighters”. If we can’t make a new generation of moderates they better be moved pot by the Trump’s plan or this will never end. The IDF has now enabled a small force of moderates to operate in South Gaza. They are fully armed and operate also civilian facilities like schools. There is another force more at the North that is now forming and is willing to fight Hamas. But those are far from being large. The IDF encourages it. Tricky, those guns could one day turn on us. For now it is encouraged.
-Bibi’s visit at the US is at the 29th. Trump is suppose to meet some Arab leaders just before, this Tuesday, to discuss Gaza’s end of war. He invited the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, UAE, Turkey. Bibi’s idea to declare sovereignty over parts of Judea and Samaria will be strongly opposed at the meeting, the UAE has threatened to break the peace treaty with Israel if that happens and degrade the diplomatic relationship. Trump wants the Arab nations to take part on his post war plans for Gaza. Possibly to make them pressure Hamas to leave Gaza and end the war. They may send forces to police things in Gaza the day after the war. This is not so good for Israel in my humble opinion as they are going to use collective pressure and persuasion against the Israeli positions and will try to end the war without Hamas fully defeated. Also will try to derail the Trump plan of relocating Gazans. But as I always say “we shall see”.
-Trump has also posted yesterday on social media his intention for a massive arms deal with Turkey. Bad news for Israel as Turkey is positioned against Israel in Syria and overall.
He mentioned about a discussion about an F35 deal. This is a tie breaker and I am sure that Bibi will have what to say. Simultaneously, but not unrelated I think, the White House is wanting to cut a 6 Billion dollar deal for Israel with a good number of Apache helicopters and more weapons. Everything is OK if the F35 idea falls off. I hope that Israel will succeed to prevent it. It is not the first time the matter is floating. F35 is stealth and had to be stopped.

As I was skimming through news articles, one particular passage struck me as very odd. Palestinians were told to go to a certain area that was established by a palestinan force in Gaza if they wanted to seek shelter and food with added protection against the Hamas terrorists operating within the evacuation of Gaza City.
Fact:
Hamas is using civilian and hostages to shield the forces operating within the evacuation, and yet the world is willing to reward the atrocities they have committed by declaring an illegal state. What is really disgusting are the countries that will fly the Palestinian flag today.

Hi Annie, enjoyed your Steve Miller Band selection and loved the old cars even more! I was lucky enough to own some from the ’30s, ’40s, and ’50s when I was in my 20s. Incredibly, they were affordable back in the day. Makes this old guy wish I still had ’em, but they’re out of reach for me today. Hi again Annie, yeah, I’m a retired pipefitter from South Florida. Worked the nukes [nuclear powerhouses] among other jobs in the pipe trades. My grandson is a fitter too, but one of the best welders around. Lots of guys see the last name on the badge and tell him to give me a “shout out” for them. His wife is a welding inspector and gets the same requests when they work the same jobs together. It would be almost impossible to relate to a neighbor what it’s like to work the nukes, but the three of us can tell hilarious stories without having to explain what the heck we’re yapping about! Your Vette is a heart-stopper! Love it! My oldies [cars] included a ’37 Terraplane sedan [a Hudson marque at the time], two ’48 Pontiac Torpedoes [coupe and sedan], a ’50 Oldsmobile Futuramic 88 Holiday hardtop coupe with the big 98 engine], a ’57 Cadillac Eldorado Seville [sexiest coupe ever: mine was The Italian Stallion], and a ’58 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special sedan. You never fail to impress with your photos. I mean, whoever thinks about a heart banana peel? Keep up the great submissions!

Recent Israeli determination to eventually produce all the weaponry they need without depending on other nations is quite wise. Israel knows what is best for Israel. Also, Yahweh pronounced “pox on you” towards anti-semites.
Our fundamental economic mistake (other than printing money which keeps all the mistakes going in perpetuity) was clearly tilting the social structure from fostering a more rural life-style to a pedal to the metal urban life-style. This took place in the 70’s without any public debate. Really the first and most impactful thing they did to us in secret. People knew it was being done if you had your ear to the ground but all you could do is stand and shake your head because there was no media outcry (very similar to the Patriot Act but even bigger and more secret). The media has betrayed this country ever since they were allowed and encouraged by Truman to stick a knife in the back of the great General Douglass MacArthur (MacArthur is the highest ranking General there has ever been in the United States of America, except for George Washington who they promoted retroactively after MacArthur) (Must read: General Douglass MacArthur’s “Reminiscences” written in his own hand). This was probably the first time in World History (certainly in U.S. History) a distinguished General was allowed to be attacked politically by the vermin in the media. It seems Truman did it for pure spite, (petty jealousy), and the losers in the media jumped at the opportunity.
Anyway I digress, there were certain advantages built into our social structure favoring an agricultural society. Sort of like in baseball when a tie goes to the runner. These were all stripped away in the 1970’s, we had become sitting ducks. You’re clearly seeing the rift in the Nation crystallizing into an Urban versus Rural line of demarcation – the oldest social antagonism on the planet. Going all the way back to perishable products versus urban cartels ruthlessly exercising this advantage in negotiating position (incidentally this is where the Futures Market had its genesis – to mediate this advantage; it was spawned by farmers not bankers; that’s why it’s never going away).
A more rural life-style has been clearly understood to set a more wholesome beneficial tone throughout your society ever since the days of Sodom (homosexual) and Gomorrah (lesbian). Especially in the cities the rural back-drop has a wonderful, inspiring influence. It’s about being real instead of fake. People are creatures of habit, they become what they do, that’s why cities shouldn’t be slopped up for greed but should be done well to the utmost. Then that’s what gets Institutionalized into the culture; and not a devouring Machine.

“The doctrine of justification by faith is shown by the case of Abraham. (1-12) He received the promise through the righteousness of faith. (13-22) And we are justified in the same way of believing.” (23-25)
(1-12) “To meet the views of the Jews, the apostle first refers to the example of Abraham, in whom the Jews gloried as their most renowned forefather. However exalted in various respects, he had nothing to boast in the presence of God, being saved by grace, through faith, even as others. Without noticing the years which passed before his call, and the failures at times in his obedience, and even in his faith, it was expressly stated in Scripture that “he believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness,” #Ge 15:6|. From this example it is observed, that if any man could work the full measure required by the law, the reward must be reckoned as a debt, which evidently was not the case even of Abraham, seeing faith was reckoned to him for righteousness. Twenty four hours before Brian and Lee were to be admitted for Brian’s transplant, their teams notified them the procedure was off…all for the lack of a “compatible blood vessel”, as Caroline texted me last night. I assume this morning they haven’t been left hanging are are now consulting with their respective doctors…
All of us are left scratching our heads that after 9 months of intense preparation by both men, tests and imaging (which had to go to Germany for mapping!), continual monitoring, and a ” Ready to go thumbs up 👍🏻 “, that this one apparently significant thing has only now, at the last moment, been noticed.
So there we are…
Shock and disappointment to get so close, only to be denied a second time, at least for the moment…”Postponed until further notice” was the rather perfunctory way they were informed as they all sat in Caroline and Brian’s living room last night…the two of them and their incredible donor Lee with his wife J’Ann.
Testing times…
But as it is essential for a good, life extending result for Brian and a return to robust health for Lee that absolutely everything be perfect, I do give praise to our loving Father that this was caught before the teams got in there and had to exit.
So in short, if God Himself has said, “Wait!!”, as it seems He has, that’s the only way any of us can look at this crushing delay…then do exactly that, trusting in His reasons, lovingkindness, and his mercies.

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

While everyone and circumstances are unique, there was a special young woman child that was (literally) saved from being trafficked; if not worse.
No demands
-and being there for a call at 3 am (by the Grace of God) .
Afterwards , year later (when she was ready), she came to see me; to thank me. We never discussed where she was, what she did… or that U helped her.
3 years later she fell in love. I eitnessed her wedding. She had a little girl 2 years later.
Life went on -better.
You know this and more, but
Just like photographs are vivid memories
-for the traveler
and although guidance by shared knowledge and wisdom
may make the journey better and safer for an other
-one’s own experiences are to be traveled.
And in the ‘end’
no one wants to hear, “I told you so”;
-even and especially after that one says, “You were right”.

That woman child was verbally “disowned” by her father; as he thought tough love would cause her to fold, behave…submit…and just be the beautiful sweet, good girl she always was.
She took his words (and a slap 😩 across her face) to heart.
She is, after all, as stubborn as her father.
I —carefully, yet assuredly; when it seemed appropriate,
told her things to pay attention to. Not to “look” for, but if she happened to notice behaviors and or words said -or not said… signs of what I (me) considered perhaps insincere… false and cunning …
changes from since their initial acquaintance…signs of how it “could be” a user…, a creep, jerk OR even a groomer.
I knew he was bad
—very bad; like prison bad. BUT, did not tell her that I knew.
– That was a really hard part of trying to save her. Let me tell you!
I remember telling her that no offense was intended, but to never ever mention me, my association with her or my name; period.
I told her that while I respected her, my intuition was that he was not honorable.
-I figured he’d spin my intentions words… and/or tell her I was old fashioned, didn’t understand… and was just controlling.
Most importantly:
Several times, after telling her some foolish experiences, naive beliefs or outright rude and hurtful findings
I’d had in ‘life’
👉🏻that should she ever find merit in any of my concerns or should she ever she feel the slightest bit afraid, regret…
👉🏻to find a safe time to CALL; no matter what time. Simply say exactly where and when to come get her.
When her mother called to say she did call and was home, I told (yes, told) her mother to NOT ask questions; NONE!!!!
LET GO AND LET GOD

For the extra chanterelles I’ll get this season, I slice them up and cook them in garlic and butter then divide them into potion size and then into vacuum seal bags and then freeze them. They will last a couple of years in the freezer and are a nice addition to many a meal. These ones I harvested, wont make it that long.

Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.
Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.
As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.
