This man, Simon Khorolskiy, came to America with his Russian Christian parents when he was two. He dedicates his life to Christ through music. That’s how I’ve come to become familiar with him. Our very much missed sister Just Stevie, long absent from these branches would leave his songs from time to time here on this thread.
In this ten minute video, he leaves his thoughts on the impact which Charlie’s terrible murder has left on him in the same vein as you have, dear sir. I don’t believe it is coincidence that I should come here in the middle of a sleepless night to post this to find your personal reflections on serving Jesus, our Saviour, in this precious, fleeting life we’ve been so graciously given, as Simon has done here…
Nor do I believe it is by chance that Charlie’s Turning Point USA name should so accurately reflect where many of us at this moment find ourselves because of his shocking assassination. May it also reflect a pivotal moment for our beloved America which finds herself rudderless in deep, dark waters.
As so many of us have prayed for, this nation very much needs a revival which returns God to His rightful place as our Cornerstone. And as no matter where we find ourselves in this life He is always there before us, perhaps this prayer is being answered…though we could never imagine through what sorrowful means we would be led to it.
Blessings to you, doc, and to each family member of this beautiful Tree whom I believe is not in his or her branch by serendipity.

Betsy. For several months I have had a longing that my two children would somehow find a way to minister to Canada much like Charlie Kirk and TP was able to do in the US. I never ever shared those ideas with them.
My daughter and I went for a drive a few days ago. She said, “Dad, do you know what! Johnathan told me that he wants to be the next Charlie Kirk?”
I don’t know what to do with something like that but pray. My daughter has already told me that she wants to emulate Riley Gaines. I can only pray that God shows us His will.
The kids’ little private Christian School held a moment of silence. Not a dry eye! The impact Charlie has even in Canada can’t be fully measured. My kids were enormously impacted by him. So sad to lose him.

Oh Dan…just when I thought I had no more tears in me.
It might surprise you (though given your beautiful recounting with your own children, maybe not) to know that your experience is being repeated by many, many others. In cases with parents who had no idea how impactful Charlie and his mission was on their own of children. Even more who had no idea that their own even listened to him.
On the day he was assassinated, I received a text from my youngest, the mother of four, from her workplace telling me the news which I had just heard and was still reeling from. Because with a husband away from home often, travelling the world over, her four children and all that comes with them, and her full time job, we speak infrequently.
I had no idea she even had time for anything else, but she was in tears, telling me she listened to his podcast every single day. I was stunned. She is bereft.
So many disjointed thoughts, dear friend. I am overwhelmed with joy that your children are influenced by Charlie and Riley, when it could have been so many others.
Did you know that TPUSA has had 18,000 (!!!!) requests so far for new chapters in this country?? I wonder how many in Canada.
Dan, I can’t help but believe we are witnessing the Holy Spirit working, and through the younger generation for which we’ve often expressed our worry for their futures.
Charlie’s earthly presence is at an end, but the legacy he leaves is just beginning and spreading it seems…and by God’s good grace. I pray with you. I give thanks to our Father that in crushing grief his mission is not ended but will illuminate a pathway for millions the world over. I cannot believe otherwise.
In the midst of this crushing grief, there is great comfort in knowing that God is still in His heaven 🙏🏻💕

I’ve been pondering, a lot, on the question of why the death of someone like Charlie, whom I’ve not ever met, has had such a profound effect on my thoughts and emotions. I wake thinking of him, his memory seeps into my thoughts at the most unexpected times.
Is it strictly because of his relative youth, and the fact he is the age of a few of my grandchildren? I think not.
There is something more profound, more Godly, more Holy Spirit. I think, and pray, especially after reading the thoughts of fellow Treepers, that this is a phenomen that will not fade or disappear, but will blossom and flourish. 🙏 ❤️

I’m also seeing more people unmasked for posting their truly evil thoughts. So satan’s army of lost and captured souls have their marching orders.
They do not understand the Force which has been unleashed, one which is an exhilarating joy to watch happen.
Like you, dearest sister, I, too, believe the Holy Spirit’s full and overwhelming power has been released onto the battlefield we all find ourselves on. Will we be met with increased chaos and fierce, unhinged violence and vitriol? Truthfully, I am looking for it from the usual quarters led by their commander in chief.

WASHINGTON – The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced today that United States Army Pfc. Charles N. Milam, 20, of Greenville, Mississippi, killed during World War II, was accounted for May 8, 2025. Milam’s family recently received their full briefing on his identification, therefore, additional details on his identification can be shared.
In January 1944, Milam was assigned to Company F, 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. From late January through late May 1944, the 3rd Infantry Division fought in the Battle of Anzio in Italy. On January 31, Milam was reported missing during combat against German forces near the small hamlet of Ponte Rotto, close to the town of
Cisterna di Latina (Cisterna). Members of his squad believed that he may have been killed in action by artillery at some point that day, but his body was not recovered. Having no evidence that Milam had survived the conflict, the War Department issued a presumptive finding of death on April 19, 1945.
After the end of hostilities, the American Graves Registration Service, U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps, was the organization tasked with recovering missing American personnel in the Mediterranean Theater. In July 1944, graves registration personnel recovered a set of remains, designated as X-462 Nettuno, near Ponte Rotto. However, the AGRS did not have enough data to positively identify the remains and interred them interred at U.S. Military Cemetery Nettuno, now Sicily-Rome American Cemetery. On Aug. 11, 1949, the Office of the Quartermaster General declared Milam non-recoverable.
Note: My understanding is that there are two other unknowns from WW2 that are being received in Jackson Mississippi at the same time on October 3, 2025.
